Snake_eyes18 Thank you! Dan is one of our longest running salespeople and does a fantastic job helping his customers. He's actually our first salesperson to cross the 2,000 sales milestone, so we are obviously very proud to have him on our team!
This will definitely make it better for me to recieve and make calls and not worry about being stopped here in WV for using a cell phone while driving, thank you for this informational video....
The 2014 Suburban is a totally different system than the one in this video. The 2014 will have the Chevy MyLink system and you should follow the prompts on your touchscreen.
Hello MrsBaumbach! We would be more than happy to help you out, we just need to know a 2 things: 1) What year and model do you have? 2) When you press and hold the button, does the voice say "Ready" or "OnStar Ready"?
Hello foch41! Just use the same button that you sync Bluetooth with. You will hear the call coming in, the phone number will display in the dash, and you simply press the button to answer. The button below will hang up once you are finished with your call. Hope this helps!
Does this work on a 2008 Tahoe? I push that button on the steering wheel and it says "onstar ready" instead of "ready"... And I say Bluetooth and it says "thank you, goodbye". Very frustrating... Please help. Thanks
Mi too.. Mi Silverado 2006 ..say same I call the last owner and he told me Programing before...and his no remenber the code...is suck We need factory reset code
Thanks for the question! I'm honestly not sure...I can't really find anything online on the 12 Orlando having Bluetooth, except for a blog post reviewing the vehicle. The blog reviewed a LTZ model and it said the vehicle had it, so I would guess the other trim levels have it as well. I would say definitely give it a shot though! After all, calling hands free is always the safer choice! Hope this helps in some way!
what year model comes with Bluetooth an year that don't I have a 2011 silverado bt currently is in the shop getting worked done wanting to know if my has the bluetooth
+Mercedes AMG Saudi Arabia Try checking out this other video we made on another channel. This is specifically for a 2012 Tahoe: ruclips.net/video/QWnMGNyj6n8/видео.html
just bought a 2012 tahoe with same voice command features BUT previous owners have filled "all 5 spots" with phones? how do I delete? when I try to delete, system is asking me to "say the name of phone you'd like to delete"? is there a way around that as I don't know what they named phones??? help!!!!
+Michelle T Hey Michelle! Try this: press the Bluetooth button, say Bluetooth, then say "list". It should play for you all the recordings of other people who paired. Write them down and then go through and delete each one. Let us know if that works!
Valentina Aiello Hey there, Valentina! What year is your vehicle? If it's the same generation as the truck in this video, it will connect for calling but not music. 2014 is when they started being able to stream music.
Yea the 07 won't be able to stream music. The feature wasn't available until they added the touch-screen MyLink systems around 2014-2015 model year. Best recommendation would be to either use an AUX cable or install an aftermarket radio.
+Priscilla Moreno Hi there Priscilla! Since you have MyLink, that tells me you have a newer car than the 2013 Silverado shown in this video. We probably have another video to help you. What year and model are you driving?
This video was published way back in 2013. Is there a specific year and model your are looking for? We have many specific Chevy Bluetooth videos on our Bachman Chevrolet channel.
+Bachman Auto Group I Googled it for a 2012 tahoe ltz and saw on 1 of the spec sheets from Edmunds it was capable just never found out the process on how to do it, that's how I ended up here lol, I was thinking it might not be possible for awhile until I saw you store the phone contacts via Bluetooth, gave me some hope again lol
Hmmm. I think Edmunds has their info wrong. The Tahoe can store phone numbers, but it's not like it has an internal hard drive to store music. It might have a USB that you can stream music through?
Unfortunately I'd have to say you are out of luck on streaming music. They added the bluetooth streaming once they upgraded to the MyLink system with the redesign.
Doesn't work for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Pressing that button on the wheel makes only OnStar come on. I can try to pair with my phone to my phone, but it doesn't tell me the PIN code for bluetooth. I haven't found a single video yet that tells me how to find out the bluetooth PIN code.
Rolondo, sorry to hear your Chevy isn't cooperating. If the button is flat out not working, it might be time for a trip to your local dealership to get it checked out.
That’s not work in my car Tahoe LTZ 2012 in Saudi Arabia and the speaker is man not women and he doesn’t say ready and when I tell him Bluetooth or pair he doesn’t respond why? Help me please
Ok, I'm not certain how that would happen if you are the person to tell the system the name of your phone. Unless it's having a difficult time understanding you, it should be fine. One other thing we tend to see on vehicles is that it has too many phones paired and you need to clear the memory. This was shot on a 2013 and I can't remember the exact menu, but you are looking to navigate to where it has all the stored phones and delete everything from memory. Once it's cleared out, try to re-pair your phone and see if that works.
This response is for Austin Lloyd, not sure why RUclips isn't letting me just reply to your question so I hope you see this. With this Bluetooth system you will have to use voice commands to enter each contact individually. Much like Dan reads out a phone number and assigns a name in the video above, you will have to do that process for each contact you wish to store in the system. Kind of tedious but you only have to do it once. Hope this helps. Thanks, Austin!
We have another channel with a bunch of Chevy specific videos. We have bluetooth instructions for a 2015 Impala which should be just like your 2014 ruclips.net/video/Jga9QZ_Y9mM/видео.html
+Gordo Sorry Gordo, this video is meant for the Silverado, Tahoe, and Suburban so it will be different in your Impala. We don't have a video specifically for the 2011 Impala, but try this video from a 2011 HHR which should have the same radio as your Impala: ruclips.net/video/gl6gpr9xO50/видео.html
Okay, so I was sitting in a parking lot today, texting my daughter. The blue tooth connection kept yapping at me that the call had ended. Can I tell it to shut up? Lol!
Well that's definitely a weird one, Alison. Maybe try hitting the "hang up" button on the steering wheel? Although, we really like the idea of a SHUT UP command for the system. HAHAHA!
The man who was doing the demonstrations was VERY HELPFUL
Snake_eyes18 Thank you! Dan is one of our longest running salespeople and does a fantastic job helping his customers. He's actually our first salesperson to cross the 2,000 sales milestone, so we are obviously very proud to have him on our team!
This will definitely make it better for me to recieve and make calls and not worry about being stopped here in WV for using a cell phone while driving, thank you for this informational video....
Thanks for the step by step instructions. You saved me a lot of time learning the bluetooth system in my Suburban.
Not a problem ATLOffroad, so glad we could help!
Thankyou Bachman, for making a straight up and quick video. Cheers from Waikiki.
I didn’t know you won the super bowl ! Congratulations
Can you play music while connected to the Bluetooth or just phone calls only ?
The 2013 Silverado does not stream bluetooth audio so it would not work with Pandora. Thanks for the question, mpnoonan!
Thank you. This saves me the hassle of learning the use of the Bluetooth on my 2011 Malibu
Not a problem, Thomas! Let us know if you have any more questions about your Malibu
I will :)
Bachman Auto Group i have a problem wen i press the button it make a sound then nothing hapen and my car is suberban 2014 ltz plz help
The 2014 Suburban is a totally different system than the one in this video. The 2014 will have the Chevy MyLink system and you should follow the prompts on your touchscreen.
When I press and hold my button it tells me onstar options..how do I get around this in order to pair my phone?
You press too low, you have to press higher up on the button
Hey there! We just bought a 2013 Chevy Silverado and did the pairing process but I can't call the device paired to the truck. Is that normal?
Your video really helped me out... And quickly at that. Thanks.
Will this work on a 2008 Silverado 3500 HD LTZ package? Or only newer models? Mine has OnStar, not activated, I just want bluetooth.
Hello MrsBaumbach! We would be more than happy to help you out, we just need to know a 2 things: 1) What year and model do you have? 2) When you press and hold the button, does the voice say "Ready" or "OnStar Ready"?
Bachman Auto Group 2008 Chevy Tahoe LT and it only says “Onstar Ready”
So can u play music via Bluetooth or is the Bluetooth just used for phone usage
Hello foch41! Just use the same button that you sync Bluetooth with. You will hear the call coming in, the phone number will display in the dash, and you simply press the button to answer. The button below will hang up once you are finished with your call. Hope this helps!
thanks, i tried to do that in my Tahoe ltz 2013 and didn't recognize the command and say connection error. do you have an idea ?

Can you stream pandora via Bluetooth through a '13 silverado with nav?
Can you?
Love suburban thanks for this video
No problem Andy! Glad it was helpful
Can it play music with blue tooth also or no?
What year/model do you have? This was shot in a 2013 Silverado and it was not capable of music streaming
Just bought a 2012 Silverado and paired it, can it play my music? And how?
Unfortunately, not on the 2012 models. That year the bluetooth will only work for phone capabilities.
Can I stream a podcast on the 2013 Chevy suburban? I understand how to pair my phone and that works.
Does this work on a 2008 Tahoe? I push that button on the steering wheel and it says "onstar ready" instead of "ready"... And I say Bluetooth and it says "thank you, goodbye". Very frustrating... Please help. Thanks
Hi gwaxoutdoors098! Unfortunately, that would indicate your Tahoe is not equipped with Bluetooth. I think that was added on the 2009 models. Sorry!
Mi too..
Mi Silverado 2006 ..say same
I call the last owner and he told me
Programing before...and his no remenber the code...is suck
We need factory reset code
is it the same for a 2012 Orlando...before I try it
Thanks for the question! I'm honestly not sure...I can't really find anything online on the 12 Orlando having Bluetooth, except for a blog post reviewing the vehicle. what year model comes with Bluetooth an year that don't I have a 2011 silverado bt currently is in the shop getting worked done wanting to know if my has the bluetooth
+silverado21 HG Bluetooth was an option in the 2011 Silverado. Look at the steering wheel and see if it has the call button.
Does this come with my 2007 suburban and can I listen to music with this connection?
Thank you guys!
No problem Daniella! Let us know if you need to know anything else about your Chevy. Take care!
So it's the mileage that you use for the pin..
hello my chevy tahoe 12 LT dosent work i holded Talk button for 1h and i heard nothing can u help please
+Mercedes AMG Saudi Arabia Try checking out this other video we made on another channel. This is specifically for a 2012 Tahoe: ruclips.net/video/QWnMGNyj6n8/видео.html

If you set up the system to remember Steve's Cell as a contact, yes it will.
How does it work with answering incoming calls?
Can your phone play music on the tahoe in bluetooth
just bought a 2012 tahoe with same voice command features BUT previous owners have filled "all 5 spots" with phones? how do I delete? when I try to delete, system is asking me to "say the name of phone you'd like to delete"? is there a way around that as I don't know what they named phones??? help!!!!

Very helpful, thank you!
we got the bluetooth to put in his phone but it wont play the music, why not?
Valentina Aiello Hey there, Valentina! What year is your vehicle? If it's the same generation as the truck in this video, it will connect for calling but not music. 2014 is when they started being able to stream music.
I got a 2001 suburban LTZ and I’m trying to figure out how to play music thru Bluetooth
Can i put music with the bluetooth?
Depends on your Year/Model/Trim, Luis. This was shot in a 2013 Silverado which allows voice calls but not streaming music.

Yea the 07 won't be able to stream music. The feature wasn't available until they added the touch-screen MyLink systems around 2014-2015 model year. Best recommendation would be to either use an AUX cable or install an aftermarket radio.

Austin Lloyd u say "store" and it prompts u thru voice command.

How about "what years" does this cover!!!!

How about “look in the description!!!!!!” Maybe that will D E S C R I B E more info.
how do I store music into the radio hard drive?
+Matt Brubaker You can't do that.
+Bachman Auto Group of? online it says you can with the ltz trim that's why I was wondering
What year/model were you talking about? This was shot in a 2013 Silverado which doesn't have that capability

+Bachman Auto Group gotcha thank you for your quick reply, thanx god I got the Aux in
No problem, glad to help a Chevy owner! And yea, the AUX input is a life saver. So glad those became a standard.
Mine goes straight to OnStar not to ready and says it is not equipped with bluetooth.

2011 Silverado, "your vehicle" will not show up on phone. How do I fix?
why can I only use it for phone call and not stream music from my phone?
Thank you your awesome
Glad it was helpful, Sarmad!
Helps alot, Thanks!
I have an issue where "my vehicle" will not show up in Bluetooth. I have an iPhone 5s.
What happens when you don’t have that future like on my truck 2013 Silverado
That’s not work in my car Tahoe LTZ 2012 in Saudi Arabia and the speaker is man not women and he doesn’t say ready and when I tell him Bluetooth or pair he doesn’t respond why? Help me please
What happens if the car does not recognize the name of the phone. I say it repeatedly and the system refuses to acknowledge it.
Hey Jonathan! We'd recommend you remove your phone from the vehicle's memory and try to start over. Most of the time that will fix your issues.
Bachman Auto Group hi, the phone never made it into car memory because it will not recognize the voice tag for the phone itself
Ok, I'm not certain how that would happen if you are the person to tell the system the name of your phone. Unless it's having a difficult time understanding you, it should be fine.
One other thing we tend to see on vehicles is that it has too many phones paired and you need to clear the memory. can you play music when you have your Bluetooth hooked up to it
This was shot in a mid-level 2013 Silverado. In this model, it was not capable of streaming music, but in newer models you definitely can.

So annoyed that all you can think to do is punch the steering wheel? Know the feeling. And we have a lot of steering wheels to punch ;)
Hi
You are so gorgeous girl I love the Tahoe because of you I bought one
What about android?
Exactly the same process, your Bluetooth menu system may look different though.

+Gera Hernandez Hey there, Gera! The 2013 Silverado does not have the capability to stream bluetooth audio so music will not work with this.
Why was this not working
