Thank you . I am coming to the end of my long life . I miss my husband and so love listening to your gentle stories before I go go to sleep. We bought a sweet little old church built in 1900, 40 years ago. We would drive up from the city on summer evenings and I would say how I would love to live there. 2 years later we bought it. The cemetery was 1/2 a mile away. It was a beautiful country walk . One day I sat on the edge of a grave and found my great grandmother was buried there. I felt I had come home. That was 40 years ago. My darling husband died last year but I wish to spend the last of my life here. 🥰 I do so love your posting.

Bonjour from Quebec. I read a while ago that people have ordinary lives because they only see the ordinary or expect the ordinary hence missing the magic that occurs all around us. Magic is in a hummingbird hovering over you while you are feeling sad or upset. It's in a chipmunk that comes to see you when you have a peannut to offer him. It's in wind chimes that tinkle softly in the winds It's in a neighbour that gifts you with a dozen fresh eggs unexpectedly when you were too broke to buy groceries. It's all around us if we only open our senses to see it or even feel it.

Hello, for me it was magical the way me and my husband met each other. I' m Italian and my husband is Scottish and we were both associated with the Dublin 's pen friends club. After many letters we managed to meat each other in Scotland and after 30 years we still love each other and live in harmony here in Italy. When we tell our story it sounds romantic but for me there was also a magic spell that made this happen.😍😍😊

Your cottage and how it was named is a captivating story along with the beautiful painted stones. The west coast of New Zealand has a high rainfall and a walk through the rainforest dripping with rain can be a magical experience especially when there are glow-worms shining at dusk.🌲🇳🇿

We moved to Rose Cottage Sept 2020 after our house in the city 5 states away was in the middle of a protracted gun fight which had nothing to do with us. We call it Rose Cottage because of the street name and have since planted roses along the walkway to the front door. Our half acre of paradise borders along the River. In the morning I can hear the bells of St Mary's Church where my grandmother went to daily Mass. Thank you for the inspiration your channel gave us. Peace to you. Love from Anne Bremer born Anne Galvin.

Love that quote “Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” I do believe “magic” is all around and I regularly find moments where perfect things happen when I least expect them too. One time i needed a specific plant to grow out my back door (very dry and it is the only thing which seemed to grow.). I went to the store but one tiny plant was $2.50. Problem was that I had a 20 ft bed to fill! I decided I would go figure out something else and left thinking there had to be a way to figure this out. On the way home, I saw two huge baskets on the side of the road of the exact plant I wanted with a “free” sign on them! The beds looked fabulous and I decided to return the baskets to the owner who was surprised and grateful to get the baskets she was willing to sacrifice to share the plants. Of course, I had to share the story! Thank you so much for sharing your story. Would love to hear how you met your husband.

I love having your videos to watch first thing Sunday mornings.
I had no idea how close to the sea you lived; how beautiful! I long to live in a home by the ocean. But it’s for now, that is so out of my budget here in the US. How fortunate you are. I always collect beach rocks and shells whenever I make the trip to the water. Life always seems better in the salt air. Your cottage is precious. The scene of your video with the adorable little seal and it’s head bobbing up and down in the water reminds me of a scene out of the 90’s movie The Secret of Ronan Inish. What a wonderful view you have. Have a good week!

Magic really is all around us. I recently got some help from a bee, when my toddler wouldn't listen to me. I was trying to read something and he wouldn't stop spraying me with his water gun, no matter how often I told him off. I was about to get really angry, when a bee landet on his shoulder and made him stop. It was just sitting there, looking at him. After he put his water gun down it immediately flew away. That was just so cute.

I was so excited to see this video as I posed this question last week on instagram about the cottage name. I am even more excited to hear the story of your little ceramic cottage and the love you put into creating a vision of your future. When I was younger, in highschool, I drew a wedding gown and all the trimmings for my then beau. I drew a sweet little log home that we would live in happily ever after. 35 years later, I married my then beau and we now live in an old log house in the country. The magic does happen when you believe in it. Thank you for sharing your story. Blessings.

Those of us that bought your ebook knew the story but I loved hearing you tell it to us today. My husband and I had a similar chain of events happen to allow us to move to our little town by the sea. We had to sell a business and our house in an area where real estate took forever to sell but magically someone called me and wanted to see it without a realtor to see if it felt like home. She bought it that day. Our realtor and the one I called for her said that had never happened before so I definitely believe in magic and try to always keep an open mind for it to happen in other ways. 🥰

Years ago in 2010 my husband and I were living in Washington DC having been displaced by Hurricane Katrina. I found a meditation method of manifestation that appealed to me and began daily. I wanted to manifest a home with a big enough space to teach workshops. I wanted forest and mountains too.
About nine months later we had to leave DC in a hurry and I went back down south to find a home to live in. I found a lovely home but not a hill in sight.
It was only when we actually moved in that I realized I got everything I asked for- including being out of the flood plain which I added in when I realized where we were going to live.
There was a huge three car garage that had been converted- for my purposes all I needed was to add doors to the bar between it and the kitchen.
We had one acre of land on what had been a southern pine forest and there were forty six trees left.
The only thing we didn’t have was the mountains.
That was never going to happen as my husband wanted to be somewhere warm where we would never have to shovel snow.
We spent seven happy years in that house until he passed and I returned to Ireland.
You have reminded me what I need to do to manifest my next home- thank you 💗💗💗

Such a lovely story. We, too, searched for a very long time (3 1/2 years) to find our cottage which we live in. After many disappointments, I, too, felt compelled to visualize what we wanted. I wrote down a list of priorities that we could not compromise, and the more dreamy parts of our desires, which included water. Within a month our little piece of paradise came back on the market at a lower price that we could afford. We went to see it twice within a couple of days, and two weeks later we had the keys. Dreams can come true, but often take patience and perseverance to materialize💜

It’s true that magic is all around. It’s just in how we perceive things. Like today my magic is the kisses my dog gives me to let me know she is up and would like me to join her for the day. It’s a sip of tea, and plants some seeds to see what comes of them. However the most magical things I experience really are with moments with my dog as I know are souls were meant to share our lives together. 💗 I appreciate you asking and wanting to get to know us more! Hugs again 💛

We had been looking for a small house for a year and a half, when suddenly I saw it and I said to my husband this is what I would like. The house was not for sale, but a neighbour saw us driving past it and told the owners who decided to put it on the market, but they called us first and here we are after 36 years in the house of my dreams. Wow. I got chills! I have been going through the same situation with housing. It is much more complicated in the US because of the excessive capitalism here (for ex wall street buying up homes and renting which will essentially make it very hard for normal people to buy homes). I wanted to move to a specific location in Arizona but it has been impossible because of this. So I kept thinking what if I just buy a piece of land there and just have a very simple ‘tiny house’ built. You are right. We do not get everything we want but that is okay. We might end up finding better things than what we imagined. Like Sadhguru says ‘may all your dreams not come true so you will be able to explore the possibilities that are out there’.

Thank you for sharing your story. I remember when my cousin told me that I should have a 10-year plan because he said that he had one. I have always tried but it never worked because of things that I thought would never happen. For example, I never thought in my life I would live in the area of Japan where I currently live. It was a place that I had promised myself that I would never set one foot on. There were other things that had happened so I can't really plan my life around. Maybe that's magic.

As always, serene, beautiful videography and story! Personally, I don’t believe in “magic”. But I have many amazing and miraculous stories of the mysterious ways the Lord has worked in my life! Sunday blessings.

It's interesting how the availability of homes for sale is an international situation. My husband and I here in America came into the same situation. I'm so glad that you found your sanctuary. Blessings!

We now live in a house which was built in 1830 in Alexandria, VA. USA. Before we bought our home, I was searching for a house which had a space large enough to hold our antique Steinway grand piano. We inherited this piano and we promised Aunt Eleanor that we would never sell it but would keep it in our family. The day we were shown our current home, our realtor said that we could not put the piano in the house because the house is only 12 feet wide. But we both fell in love with the house and we bought it and moved the grand piano into the front parlor. It looks and sounds so sweet in there- almost like it was made for the space. Soon afterward, I looked up the history of our house since all homes here over 150 years old have a plaque with a number which allows you to read the history of the house. I discovered that the original owners were a married couple who were musicians. He was a violinist and she was a vocalist. They performed together in Alexandria and they lived in the home for 40 years. It got me to thinking how pleased they would be to see our beautiful piano in their parlor. How delightful it is to know that our home had a musical past which now continues. They lived here throughout our Civil War. Knowing this gives me strength the get through our current pandemic. This is my little bit of magic!

There is so much to love in this video… the red door, the beautiful beach, the painted rocks, and of course the story and the entire video itself. I’m enjoying the story time theme that you have recently created. I’m not sure if magic is the word I would use, but I do believe that things happen for a reason and that we cannot control everything in our lives. I also believe in the magic of thought, introspection, reflection, and gratitude. This was a great video today, thanks a bunch!! Wishing you a magical week to you Niamh 💜🌿🌸
