I've got a pair of the 100s. Had them hooked up in 7.1 set up to a Marantz NR1711 and they were very good now got them hooked up in a 7.1 Bi-amp to a Denon X4500H and wow, they are even better.
Bronze 100 sounds more natural and has a wider sound stage while kef q350 sounds like someone is holding their hands around their mouth, I must add base is slightly more punchy on the kef while bronze sounds slightly clearer.
At last found a sound test with rock music - guitars, drums, bass. I´m currently making up my mind on which speakers to pick up. THANK YOU!
Love the MA,s 🏴 sound stage and higher frequencies much clearer and expansive - I have similar setup but with an old A-S501 everyday amp and Q Acoustics Sub reinforcing the sub tones and lower mids and the mix is both powerful and blended and balances the bronzes nicely - let’s face it at the price range these speakers sit in they are both winners but the MA,s just tip the balance for me for the wider less concentrated soundstage - good review and comparison 🎧
Bronze just sounds brighter and bigger to me, Kef is like ´behind the wall´

Bronze 100 🥰
Bronze 100 has boosted treble, lean midrange and good bass. Q350 sounds more balanced, the better choice in my point of view.
Ya but the kef q350 the treble is harsh at high volume so for me I’d go for the ma100
On the 2nd song, I hear more bass details, especially on the drums and symbols from the Bronze 100. On the first song the clarity and detail of the KEF for the female voice was apparent. Two different sound signatures for sure, depends on what you prefer.

I can see that. I own ma silver 10, and certain music can be harsh in the higher frequencies.
The Q350's have a warmer overall balance and reveal lots more midrange detail in a more natural way than the Monitor Audio Bronze. Vocals, guitars, everything sounds thin and bright on them, and again, too much metal dome tweeter sizzle. Some folks must really like that
I suggest testing Monitor Audio Bronze 100 vs B&W 607 S2
Monitor Audio makes impressive speakers at their price points. I'm currently using BX2's but hope to upgrade to Silver 200 in the future.
They don't sound as different to me as the other comments here suggest. The KEF does have a fuller and more forward midrange and the MA has brighter highs, but I'd have to hear both with my choice of amp and my music to see which one I like better. If you turn the trable down a little on your amp with the MA, then they would sound even more similar
Could you review the Decware Model DM945 next? I think it would be a fantastic competitor for this class of bookshelves!
The Bronze sounds harsh and disconnected, the Q350 sounds more integrated. That wide soundstage on the Bronze is partly caused by that boosted treble.

Overall, have to go with the bronze 100, especially since one reviewer said the sound is generally slightly behind and above the speaker, which I like. Don't want a forward presentation.

Pues puedes adquirir cualquier parlante solo que vas a a estar limitado a los 70w de salida que te ofrece Denon, pero la calidad no se va a ver decaída, si ya compras monitores de 200w o superior de potencia te va a qiedar sobrado y va a ser demasiado gasto, pero por el precio de esos no vas a encontrar algo en calidad similar, creo son los de partida para el precio.
Un essai avec la Monitor audio Bronze 50 est- il prévu ? Vs Kef q150 ou autre..

Thanks for this. I'd like to hear the MA100 with the treble turned down a touch, just to see if they would lose that slightly too bright sound. The KEF have muh better mids but I agree with some comments that thye can sound a little muffled at times. Perhaps a test with the treble turned up on the KEF 1/3 and down on the MA 1/3. They both sound amazingly good on their own.
Monitor Audio sounds rather coarse and far less refined. There's something to say re. the mids in respect to 'openness ', but it's no match for the Q350's imo, far from it.
What all these sound comparisons say to me, both speakers for the money are great, the monitor 100s better value, £297 at the mo, cheapest i've seen the Kefs is £349. Sounds is totally subjective as per the comments below, some prefer one and others prefer the other. I suppose matching up a suitable amp and the sound helps. I have the Monitor 100s with the Denon PMA-600ne and can say they pair well!!!!
Le son de la paire de Monitor a une stéréo très large alors que la Kef dirige trop le son. Peut-être que le tweeter de la kef qui est au centre du grand cône et reculé de plusieurs centimètres avec un filtre de seulement de 6db par octave , donne ce son si particulier, comme si certaines fréquences sont réduites.

The MA's have no mids and way too much treble! Definitely q350 is the far more balanced speaker here!
Kef sounds more direct and uniform. I guess that's the uniQ tech.

I'm a huge fan of the KEF's uni-Q concept. The clarity is amazing, maybe due to a better phase characteristic with the centerdome? On the other hand, the MAB 100 is less prone to listening fatigue, maybe because of a subjective dip around 1-2 Khz (or that the KEF has a peak here)?
I think both are very good, KEF a little better.
They have a fault though, they are either very hard to produce correctly or the Kef QC is lousy, because the woofers become damaged very easily, the internet and dealer sites are full of people with ripped woofers, some after playing a bit louder, others out of the blue. Even the LS50 is plagued by this problem.

both are close, bronze is bit more open.
MA are far better for the heavier, rock/metal type sound IMO. They are a bit like Grado headphones and provide that "live" sound that you'd get in a club with a live band. Are the highs a bit boosted and midrange forward? Absolutely. But attend a live rock show and tell me that the cymbals aren't a "bit bright" and the midrange isn't a "bit boosted" of guitars coming out of 100 watt marshall heads, lol

Kef избыточная вязкость, у МА недостаточная вязкость звука.. думаю на ma добавить низких и будет звук огонь

KEF Sounds kinda boxy to me, everyone seems to like it more, or say it sounds more balanced and the bronze sounds bright. but I dont hear brightness or boosted treble in the bronze, if anything it sounds more flat. the Coaxial speaker design of the kef seems to be quelling the highs a bit.

Bronze 100 has clearer midrange, better bass, more highs. Q350 sounds just veiled, just like a LS50 on a budget.
