@divisionbyzero7916 commander does not fully support fluidnc but basic things should work. Click on "Help" then click on "set $10=3" See if that fixes your readout issue. It may be handy to go through all of the Help menu for other things that may help in future.
@@cnc3dvielen Dank.
@@divisionbyzero7916 There shouldn't be any difference when sending the command to turn the spindle on between commander and any other sender program. It literally just sends M3 S[value]. The controller then interprets the code sent. You may wish to double check that again. The Run spindle options are on the 'Run Job' tab at bottom center. Thanks, we do try our best! The next release due has even more features including some very cool and unique ones for Nighthawk controller owners. :)
Ok, I just took a look. It runs on FluidNC so most likely not, we do not provide support for FluidNC because we simply cannot. it lacks all of the original GRBL settings in favour of it's own locked down settings config via YAML.
@@cnc3d thank you for taking the time to look into this! I wasn’t sure if the firmware could be rewritten to make it compatible as this is my first CNC build. It looks like I will grab the Nighthawk Control Card in the near future for an upcoming build!
@@mciarlillo Awesome to hear you like Commander and the Nighthawk. :) Changing the firmware would be difficult as you would need to re-add in the settings pointers from what was removed from FluidNC. Commander may work but a lot of features will not function as expected and the easy settings config within Commander may cause errors.
Hello. :) Do you mean when you open the firmware tool, you can't open a firmware file to select? You may need to track down your firmware file location first. The file open dialog box will only show bin files. It won't show any files that are not bin firmware files. Most likely, you either have not downloaded the right firmware file OR you haven't unzipped your firmware files. I hope this helps.
hello, I got an ultimatebee 1500x1500 xpro v5, and VFD. The emergency stop switch is NC. which firmware I need? CNC_xPRO_V5_XYYZ_NC.bin NC_xPRO_V5_XYYZ_485_NC.bin? BTW the check door message isn't showed up. maybe its not communicating? If I press the emergency stop is it should connect?
where is the fluidnc fw bin file?

Any chance the Commander software would work with the Root Controller REV 3 ISO?
This is hard to say, We've never heard of it. Have you tried it to see if it connects fine?
What machine does that controller usually come with?

CNC_xPRO_V5_XYYZ_NC.bin
NC_xPRO_V5_XYYZ_485_NC.bin?

This is likely a good sign. NC sounds like a good option but you may need to confirm with the vendor.
