Crazy how Lincoln Riley is running from competition. Thank goodness you guys don't have him leading your program heading into the shark infested SEC. Sallee's comments were absolutely ridiculous. OU has had 10+ win seasons 19 out of the last 24 seasons. They obviously know what it takes to win. To compare them to Auburn is foolishness. OU is every bit on the same level with UGA and Bama

You all commented about Kansas and Okie state games, but didn't mention about Big 12 officials being out for the Big 12 and against OU, like that Drake Stoops PI no call with an official staring at it.
Big 12 commissioner even said it himself and was at the two games. It was terrible.
And unfortunate. Cost OU a Big 12 championship. Should have been 12-0.

Also, with a LR defense, yes we can lose 2 to 4 games every year. But with BV, his Defenses, they will go 11-1 more often because Defense is gonna be Elite. BV knows defense. Makes OU a defense first team, but OU is always good on Offense. That gives them a leg up.
I don't see 3 losses in regular season. OU/Texas is always a toss up, but OU wins 68% of the time (since 2000)... So that could be 1 loss. Alabama, coming to OU. They win. I don't see them losing any true road games, or home games. If they stay mostly healthy.

Barrett Sallee is the definition of uneducated in regards to the subject he is speaking on.
I hate the 9-3 talk. 9-3 is not a “good” season. Oklahoma is as proud of a program as ANYONE. Elite tier programs aren’t happy with 9-3.
Exactly... I bet Alabama, Georgia, Lsu and a team or 2 more would HATE 9-3.
Yea the schedule seems hard today but that all can change during the season. Every year from now on is gonna be hard. More than 2 losses, I'm pissed actually.

9-3 is being suggested because the schedule is so tough. I think in future years, the top 5-6 teams in the SEC will all have 2 to 3 losses every year. More teams are going to take Ls with OU & Texas being in the SEC, just as we probably will. OU & Texas will be the great equalizer to Bama and Georgia making it a more competitive league.
