      @ she was mocked, ridiculed, used and abused- her very private video leaked and nobody stopped to think just how problematic and utterly devastating it was for her- utilizing that as a point of ridicule - she was a punching bag for so many comedians- she was dehumanized, pigeonholed into these campy, ditsy roles, but essentially not taken seriously at all
      She took the roles she could get and the only roles that were offered were the roles she was in

    I saw that show in Vegas about 15 years ago if I hadn’t seen the real show I wouldn’t have understood the meaning of the movie
    The movie was excellent!!!!!!!
    The real show was something out of the 1920’s beautiful

      Good on Pam Anderson for getting recognized for a great acting performance but comparing her to Mickey Rourke is laughable as he was always a great actor. His boxing career & his reputation for being difficult to work with is what derailed his acting career.

      No, her beauty GAVE her a career. She was a terrible actress. She would have never even been an actress if she hasn't been discovered at a hockey game before her Playboy days.     I so badly wanna see this because I get the feeling it’s like the story of my life but different. I had friends I had family. I had small fame but now I’m in my 50s and it’s all gone and I just got the feeling that’s about a story about a woman who had it all at one time and now she’s older. She wants to try one last time just like me and that’s why I wanna see this movie. I cry as I write this 😢

    I've always loved Pam, but reading the comments of people saying Oscar etc makes me chuckle, they're caught up in pure hyerbole, Pam is a lovely person, but the acting in this trailer is tv quality, sorry to burst your bubbles.

    I am so happy for her.
    She has reinvented herself. She’s not known as the sex bomb anymore, Tommy Lee‘s wife, or the dingbat blonde who cannot act. She obviously got some help in the acting department and it looks like it’s going to pay off with this part.

    Don’t know how this particular film will pan out since Gia Coppola’s first effort was messy but this is definitely a great idea for a film and Pamela is perfect casting.

    This movie was interesting, but sad. It's funny that too many movies set in Las Vegas tend to have that tone.
    Pam seems to be playing a character which parallels her life. She, as well as the character she plays were a big deal when they were young and beautiful...When she loses those attributes, she has trouble coping with that fact.
    Let's not get crazy people, Meryl Streep, she ain't.

    *spoilers* This is depressing but what’s the lesson here? Basically save the money that your youth afforded you, use that money to go to school in order to land a better, more stable career- don’t depend on men or procreate with men who couldn’t even provide stability. In fact, just don’t center your lives around men- just save money and get a backup career.

    Aging is something weve gotta except. Gotta leave it to the young girls coming up. pamela let her eyebrows grow out cause thin eyebrows make you look old and wore alittle bit a make up she wouldnt look so old. Shes not even 60. This industry unfortunately you get passed around and you are worn out at a young age.
