If you're in the path of totality, you can look at it when it's 100% covered with your naked eyes. No harm done. It's worth it. I did in 2017 and no negative effects. I used solar glasses to watch it being covered, took them off once it was, then put them back on when the moon moved again. No harm done. The corona is such a beautiful sight to see! 🌑🌑🌑
Nah you just have to look at the eclipse super quick and look away super quick. It works. But my body seems stronger than most people’s as people say you can get badly hurt or even die if you stick metal into a house outlet and I didn’t really feel much but a small shock. Used to get a shit ton of ear infections from my ear being a different shape more straight then a v like others and usually people say ear infections hurt like a bitch but only way I could tell I have them was from the smell. And when I was younger like early single digits I broke my arm and my mom said I didn’t cry just wanted more attention, the doctors didn’t even believe her and she had to keep on pushing till they finally checked
Well looking at an eclipse is just like looking at the sun normally except without the blinding light, so your brain thinks it’s safe when it’s not because of all the wavelengths of light that you can’t see. If you did get retinal damage it’s not like you would know until it’s too late so just don’t risk it bruh
That's just sad, everyone in the world can look at the sun real quick, yet you've somehow turned it into a boast about how tough you are? That is so sad
@@keithbartholomew9433 he thinks cos he got a small shock off and outlet(I reckon most kids have done that. My mom told me I tried it but was too young to remember and I was more scared of the flash than hurt but as an adult I got a shock from plugging a caravan into a 240v outlet and all i got was tingles in my hand) and he got ear infections a lot(most dont really hurt anyway) he is gonna join the avengers or justice League. Then he brings up his ear shape, so pretty sure he thinks he's a mutant or alien like Spiderman or superman. The fact that he'd old enough to type and logon to the internet and thinks like that is kinda scary. But he thought he could impress strangers with his superpowers while talking about an eclipse is hilarious, I bet this dumb kid does go out and stare at it just to prove a point after seeing people laugh at this comment and when he just gets circles in his vision for a few minutes, then he KNOWS he's a superhero, watch this comment for edits after the eclipse
Because the suns rays can harm us? The reason why staring at an eclipse can damage your eye is because it appears to be a lot dimmer and so we think the harmful rays can't harm us, but they're still there and still can. Why does that make us archaic? I'm curious

Fascinating, about the “welding glasses”!! Thanks!!
How did the Ancients view an eclipse without "solar glasses"?
they looked at it and cooked their eyes, of course.
You look at a phone or computer all day and you are worried! Hahaha
They can hurt the eyes of a solar eclipse .by using a box
As a child I always told don’t look directly into the sun cause you’ll go blind I don’t see the fascination at staring at it
The sun is not bad for you. That is a myth. The sun heals you.
I only clicked on this cos I saw the title and the image was Wendy from South park and I thought WTF? Made sense after watching lpl

Bro what is this rant? Let’s work on grammar and proper sentence structure before telling everyone you’re physically superior to them.

Just use a weilding mask. Its what i did during the last one i saw
Not everyone is a welder though are they?
I dont even look that way..one time I got in the corner of my dining room I so fear of going blind...
Superman was created base on a black man
😂😂😂 ok
Trump looked at the eclipse, he’s not blind… I think
Everyone in 3rd world did it too but people still buy the blindness propaganda.
