    At 4:15 and 4:56 you can observe something unusual as the Vitara's back gets lower. This is visible only in those two final hardest tests. In the rest of the situations the car was level. Why?

    • @4x4.tests.on.rollers
      @4x4.tests.on.rollers  5 лет назад +1

      It goes lower because of strong intervention of rear brakes. If you look closer, you can see it in every test, but not so strong like in the last two.

    As for me, Duster is suitable for those who often leave the city or lives outside the city or in the countryside where you can get into off-road conditions more often, on the other hand, Suzuki is more a city car with good off-road potential.

    The duster would sell well in the US if it's done right....it's just a nice shape for a small SUV. Put a strong normally aspirated 4 banger that gets 27 mpg overall and it'll sell like hotcakes.

    This Duster has 156 Nm torgue, Vitara has 220 Nm. If the Duster was the 110 dCi (240 Nm torgue) then probably Duster was better (it's all about physics). In general, Duster has better off-road capabilities as it has better ground clearance (210 for Duster, 200 for Vitara), bigger angles (ramp, approach and departure: 23, 30, 34 for Duster, 17.7, 18.2, 28.2 for Vitara) and lower rate of 1st gear. The new Vitara is much worst than the previous models in hard off-road (rocks, climbling, etc).
