hi, when for testing i tried to change the default value of the start in usbtor from 3 to 4 and change it back to 4 to 3 by doing so, i am not seeing disable option in device manager for USB how can i fix it?
Will this fix usb hub starting and stopping when connected? I have a 7 port hub. All ports are being used. Starts and stops multiple times until I hold hub power button constant.
I have a brand new hp envy laptop that after shutting down keep the usb powered. I want them to not provide power after shutdown. Would this help my situation?.
No it does not help, the Power usb ports are set via the Bios setup, Boot your pc with F2 and enter bios setting you will find it there. sorry for the late reply but I hope it helps

Open regedit as an administrator
you can do it by right clicking on registry editor and select Run as administrator
