Most pilgrims are getting up so early. I'm always wondering about that. I'm not making daily walks that exceed 20km and i can do that in five hours, so if i commence to walk at 10am i would still arrive at 4pm including a one hour break. Of course if you are a hardcore hiker you can do more km a day, but i found that it's not enjoyable to do so. I'm not on the camino to just rush through the landscape.
@@donarmando916 some prefer to walk early to beat the heat, others are woken in the Albergues so might as well start. Some just want to guarantee finding a room at the end. Everyone's Way is different, there is no correct way.
