What you call tinsel I have always called garland lol. Tinsel to me is the silver stringy light catching extremely thin ribbon.

Liz I'm from the Ole' School. lol...
Mom called it ‘rope’.
She grew up in the 30s and the old garland I remember as a child looked more like rope . It was about as round as a nickel and was pleated foil twisted around string.
Our tinsel was very fragile and could break easily. We saved the tinsel and reused it. ( poor people)!⭐️🎄

My favourite was the lunch bag ❄️ snowflake. I would add some glitter😉
My favorite is the bed risers for the tree. There's just not enough room under the tree to get boxes or bags of gifts. Love this idea!

Oh Gosh, LIZ, you had SO MANY GREAT ONES that I'm going to have to write them down to remember the ones I LOVED!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! THESE WERE WONDERFUL!!!!!
I would paperclip (white ones) the bag snowflake so you can close it for storing for next year : thrift store pile. And if you spray paint them, they could be water / moisture resistant for hanging from outside trees.
I'm doing that bed riser trick this year! I love those paper snowflakes too.

I lost my ornament hooks every year. I finally decided to tape the package to the lid of the storage box. That way I didn’t lose anymore hooks. Just a simple thing to help me be more organized!❤
Okay first hack and I had to pause to comment. Balloons on trees are genius! Bonus that my little one will love playing them!

if you want to keep your star/snowflake, use mini velcro dots. I have two I made about 7 years ago. I fold them down and put it away each year.

I used the dollar tree purple lid snap containers for my lights. You can thread it packed in from the flip top so it’s easy to unravel as you decorate

I love the bed risers idea, definitely will be using this hack.
All of them were great. I've been doing the cardboard thing for Christmas lights for years. Another thing you can use is a paper towel roll. You won't have the lid like the oatmeal container, but you can cut slits in the ends to hold the plugs of the lights.

My favorite hack was raising the tree with bed risers! I had always heard to use paint cans, but I think the bed risers are a better solution
Love your Mantel Garland layering idea!! I’m hoping that your White Oreos taste like the ones that Nabisco has out during the Holiday season. We love them but they’re expensive & harder to find each year

Balloon hack blew me away! 🎈🎈 Brilliant. There are metallics gold, silver, copper, pearl options, pewter, blacks, tans and charcoals. Balloon colors are endless as is the size you choose to fill them. THANKS LOVE! OH, I almost forgot, You can use ping pong balls to insert your lights into and ANY small bauble shape any color or opacity will work also! I shove lights into house ornaments, church ornaments etc.
