    Hello Prof. I think normalizing temperature for hyper eutectoid steel is above AC3 line and what is written in the ASM Vol 04 Heat Treating or I am missing something? But you especially emphasized that hypereutoctoid steels should not be heated to austenite region. I have some confusion.

      That is right: hypo eutectic above AC3 but hyper eutectic only above AC1
