Great video Samantha! I just have a question. If this automated response works with anybody that sends me an email, how do I prevent those (business partners who regularly contacts me) from also getting this auto reply. it would be quite a headache if they keep receiving it everytime

lol NewMotive WOC ya that is true! If someone sends you multiple messages, the gmail autoreply will only send this message to the same sender once every 4 days.

Is there a way of sending auto reply to only a certain group in you contacts if you have them separated in groups.

hector castellanos It does appear to have a check box you can choose to only send auto reply messages to people in your contact list, but it does not give you the option to choose specific people or only a select group of people.
It would simply send the message to anyone on your contact list who sends you an email.
The check box is located directly below the vacation response message compose/edit box.

+Dave Chomitz A little more tinkering and I found "canned responses" to be a much better solution - you can create a filter, sending the response and sorting the email at the same time .... cheers

Is there away to exclude certain email addresses into google gmail which you do not want it to send a auto response email to? I setup auto response with my Godaddy email account and it works pretty well but I get a lot of mail not deliverable emails because it sends to "No reply" email accounts. Hmmm that's a good question ***** !
The undeliverable mail notifications may just be something you have to accept as a side effect.
However, I will look for a solution and let you know if I find one.
