My Eze, thank you very much. Don't border yourself trying to defend Arochukwu about slave trade. The fact remains that the slavery day time cut across west Africa, and indeed other parts of Africa.

When my dad passed on , delegates came from Aro Ijebu in Yorubaland to attend his wake keeping in Lagos and his funeral in Aro. They said their fore fathers migrated from ujari village in Aro to establish Aro Ijebu. It was fascinating to welcome yoruba speaking Aros.

That's Igbo for you. While Benin people are claiming all southern Nigeria. From Eko Lagos to Rivers State. OBA of ife said it some Igbos community and not all followed obi of onitsha to East. Some continues their business there staying under any oba rulership before the white men came.

King, with all due respect, it was not all black men that regarded the birthing of twins as an abomination or strange.
In Yoruba land, we honour twins and name them "Taiwo/Taiye" and "Kehinde". In a town in Oyo state, Igbo-Ora, they actively look for the birthing of twins. It has the highest twin birth rate in the whole of Africa.

I remembered the Aro-wars/Ibom wars, as I was told, and it was about the Igbo slaves fighting against their slave masters, the wealthy Ibibios.
overlords. It was that after many long years of wars of the Aros wars of serving the Ibibios as slaves, they all teamed with other Igbo slaves to fight against their Ibibio masters and overlords who were their slave masters, overpowered them overnight, ceasing the overlords rich trade styles and businesses and stopping their slavery by the overlords' and their prominent interests, and then agreeing with their peace occur over the wealthy Ibibios' overlords.

Sent our butts to the “Slave Zone”. Probably for a couple of Guinea Pots, some old outdated rifles and a few barrels of moonshine. 🌊 🛶 The Slave Zone……. WOW!!!!
