Where'd you got the CSV file in the first place? I got mine from Google Earth. Converted it to a txt from a website. Imported it from txt file to CSV UTF 8. Is that right?

That is also one way to get CSV file. It is like converting survey points to coordinate and make CSV file like you did.
But i couldn't save the file. Showing "tge project includes one or more temporary scratch layers"

How to produce the csv data? I mean your csv data already has id elevation etc in it.
