[QGIS] CREATING CONTOUR IN QGIS

This video explains how to draw contour in QGIS and how to annotate the contour.
The contour interval used in this video is 1 m.
You can change color of contour lines.
Qgis version used is 3.4.2. but you can use other versions as well.
Import X,Y,Z from excel in CSV format

How to get the input Excel data

You need to survey the area of your interest then find X,Y,Z COORD of all the surveyed points w.r.t. the BM COORD and prepare excel file in the format as shown in the video.

How to produce the csv data? I mean your csv data already has id elevation etc in it.

Enter data in Excel in the format shown in the video and save as .csv file. You will obtain data from survey or other source for the area of your interesr.

Where'd you got the CSV file in the first place? I got mine from Google Earth. Converted it to a txt from a website. Imported it from txt file to CSV UTF 8. Is that right?

That is also one way to get CSV file. It is like converting survey points to coordinate and make CSV file like you did.
