@@theeeves get a good headset lol clusters are low frequency and footsteps are high frequency. A good headset will easily be able to separate the 2. He heard someone prefires where he thinks they are. Then in that same direction sees the tracker footsteps on the ground so follows them and kills the guy in the corner

When you kill someone in rebirth it pings their teammates on the map. Since they are trying to farm kills by leaving the last person on a team alive and waiting for that person's teammates to respawn he's talking about the ping to indicate which person is last on their team. Notice he says this after the team wipe notification pops up in the kill feed
