Thanks so much for this great demonstration of unboxing. The ONLY unboxing that I've actually been interested in. Everything else, I think why on earth would I want to see something unboxed. I mean, I can't understand how anyone would sit and watch a person unbox a stereo or a tv or whatever. But this is important, especially if you don't want to get slapped in the face. So, great job Alan. I'll be buying one of 'em Vesgannti very soon.
Cracking review as ever .....would you have a look at the SleepShaper Mattresses I have one of there low budget ones I think it's the elite 700 had it about 6 year it's not bad for the price and comfortable but would not mined trying one of there SleepShaper Luxury Memory Pocket 1500 Mattress Or a simba or eve thanks
Alan I have really bad posture from office work, I get terrible pain between my shoulder blades/ top of my back, I’m a side sleeper and am torn on what hybrid mattress to go for? I have already used an Otty and sent it back as it was too firm, any advice on what I need? Doesn’t feel like my current mattress (soft) relieves the pressure on my back - any advice on what mattress to go for would be fantastic.
Hi Alan. I got myself one of these mattresses and they're not bad for the money but it seems really harsh after laying on it for a while, you can feel those springs. So we're going to try a topper with it. Workmanship looks good an it is what it says it is. The only concern I have is the aftercare that the company provide, there is no phone number and I've written them 5+ emails with no reply, also messaged them on Facebook, again no reply. I can only assume that trying to return it during the 100 night trial would be a nightmare. Sorry for the long post, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
you may be right 😝 i had a good experience with mine, cant speak on after sales. perhaps buying through amazon would help since it states even on amazon the 100 night trial. yes a topper is a good idea if you can feel the springs. my review will be up today 😛
@@alanrossreviews hi yes I agree buying trough amazon probably better grounds. But superking deluxe was only £160 on their website. So plenty left in the kitty for a topper. Pleased overall feels good quality does the job. And to be fair we're probably just not used to it yet. But for the price I can donate it to charity after 12months and really haven't lost much.
it might be a little too soft but you only know if you try. also all memory foam so heat issues if you are sensitive. one year trial though, cant really go wrong. I just think you may be a little too heavy for nectar. i personally like it but find it a bit too soft for back sleeping on my lumbar region.
Alan - watched a couple of your reviews, and they’re great...very thorough! Have you reviewed a Rem-Fit mattress, or tried to approach them about doing so? I’m about to try one myself, and on paper they look really good.
Alan Ross Reviews I have to say it’s very good - slept on it the past couple of days and it’s night and day better than the Emma (All subjective of course though), but think this one’s a keeper.
I went for the 400 - can’t believe how cool it sleeps for a memory foam mattress. I’m over the moon with it. Will take some time to properly get used to it, but early signs are really positive.
Alan , would it be possible to have two bluetooth speakers use the same bluetooth reciever. For cases where the speakers dont have TWS function. And also wire up the two controls to one on the speaker itself. Im thinkin about gluing two speakers using the controls from just the other one. im a noob
you can use dual audio of course. you can also wire them to a bluetooth reciever with volume controlled by reciever but its very messy. i used to do this before stereo pairing was a thing but could never get into that mess now. i sued to wire them in stereo using a left right splitter.
How is your new mattress doing with fully expanding? The edges are bothering me atm as it would really disappoint me if the corners didn’t fully expand. I have seen lots of videos now online with vacuum packed mattresses not fully reaching their quoted depth or again reaching it in the centre but not at the edges or corners. I may be ocd but this attention to detail gives confidence that the rest of the product has some quality. Do you agree?
Hi Alan, I’ve been reading a lot of reviews for the Naturalex brand and specifically their carbontech mattress. There’s a few that are interesting me including the titanium and extra fresh. I just wondered if you had heard about them (on amazon) and if you had any thoughts on them as a budget bed in a box as they’re a fraction of the cost of your standard Leesa, Eve etc. Would love to get your thoughts and maybe see if you planned to do a review of one?
Alan Ross Reviews I notice there seems to be a bit more information each of their mattress range on eBay through mattress direct shop. Shows you the density of each type of foam in the mattress. They talk about summer and winter sides so definitely the first memory foam type mattresses I’ve seen that you can flip. Just thought I’d let you know in case you’re ever interested in reviewing one of them.

Not the greatest but adequate, there is no roll off effect but sitting on the edge you will sink a fair bit.
