Yeah I will say they do that pretty well. I didn’t connect with the art, but I did appreciate the story telling between other cards. That really shows the skill of a tarot reader when they can see the full picture and not just card by card
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it, I’m really excited to do some new ones this coming month :) The other kin was one I recently got during a tarot company sale. I think I’ll connect more with the art in that one, but we shall see. The Linestrider was beautiful, don’t get me wrong, but something sure is just off. What’s your current favorite deck you work with?
I couldn’t connect with this deck. I ended up gifting it to someone who did connect. I just ordered The Literary Witches oracle deck and cannot wait to get to know those cards!
I felt that way at first when I opened it. I appreciate the art style, but I don’t feel the connection or familiarity like I do with other decks. I plan on doing an update later once I have worked with it a bit, but first impressions I’m on the same page as you. Ohh I haven’t heard of that! Can you send me the image so I can look it up and add it to my “to unbox” video pile !!
Thanks for the review! Looks like a very abstract deck. I'd use it for spell work but don't think I'd try to read with it. That guide book looks fantastic, though.
That guide book is SUPER helpful. It honestly was the best part of the purchase! I appreciate the art, but it doesn’t speak to me, but the way the author discusses how each card works and the stories they can tell was a really helpful tool. I think a lot of tarot readers (at any level) could really benefit from something like that.
I found it! It’s not for sale, just posted to a different site! Here it is if you want to look, www.carti-tarot.ro/Linestrider's-Journey.pdf Highly suggest buying it for the physical deck and book for your own use, but at least that link will give you a head start! Full deck is here if you’d prefer - amzn.to/3wRGfnK
the watercolor art is very pretty but I can see how it's not connecting with you. i don't know anything about tarot cards though with every video of yours I learn something new. it doesn't look like a traditional tarot deck that I have seen so the animals throughout is a disconnect. i appreciate the always thorough review and talk through!
It’s definitely a gorgeous deck, but it’s very artistic. I’m glad that it’s a best seller for the people it works with, but every deck isn’t made for every person. I’m just thankful that these videos are helping show people different deck styles so they can find what works best for them, even people like you who don’t know tarot outside of content like this!
As someone who owned the original deck of cards not long after this deck was released, and then had it gifted to me after losing the original 2016 deck while moving, the card stock HAS changed. The original deck was not glossy like this and the cards were bigger and thicker. I’d love to get my hands on another original 2016 Linestrider deck for this reason, but the second was gifted so I probably will not.
I didn’t even know that was an option! I feel like the thicker and non glossy card would make this deck 10x better. It would read as watercolor and not as just mass print. I’m a huge fan of the thicker and more quality style cards. I know that makes them less functional with shuffling, but I want to appreciate the art that goes into it. You know?
I just
Got this deck and must say
The guidebook is sooooooo good. ❤️❤️. I really liked the mentioned of combined cards

Agree there is something off with the Linestrider, I tried the Otherkin tarot for awhile but ended up passing that on as well. Great review.

@@hippiewitchheart Honestly, with praise like that, I kinda want to buy just the book if it were available as a standalone 🤣
@hawleyolsen170 let me check and I’ll get back to you, bc I’m pretty sure you can!
