I’m glad you had a good experience with their yarns. I did not. And I do have more yarn from them in other videos where I acknowledge their yarn is pretty, but the photos don’t really match the colors. Especially for the garden party and Paris sets. I’m sure they are lovely for their ideal clientele, but I was not happy with my order and do not think I’d order from them again. That’s totally fine, I’m just not their market.

I’m aware of this now, but it was not listed on their website or in my order info. Badsheep never acknowledged the discrepancy on their website, and it added to the overall experience I had ordering from them.

@@hippiewitchheart I get it! I hate when you work up a pattern with your favorite yarn and then find a better pattern. I don’t like having to rip it, but I’m not too good for a frog party 🐸 I’d just hate to ruin the gorgeous yarn. I just ordered 3 of the Vineyard sets, Merlot, Vintage Champagne and Wine Bottle in Sparkle Fingering from Bad Sheep. I’m seeking the best pattern for that. I won’t sleep till it gets here. 😂

Minor variations sure, but this is following a recipe to create a color. If you’re going to sell it as a color that you continue to duplicate you need to be able to duplicate that same recipe as close as possible. Otherwise it should not be listed as a reoccurring color option, but a one of a kind color. Minor differences sure, but it still needs to match the photo. Otherwise how can you plan a design if the product being sent does not match what you ordered

What’s your go to color palette?

That guide book is SUPER helpful. It honestly was the best part of the purchase! I appreciate the art, but it doesn’t speak to me, but the way the author discusses how each card works and the stories they can tell was a really helpful tool. I think a lot of tarot readers (at any level) could really benefit from something like that.

I didn’t even know that was an option! I feel like the thicker and non glossy card would make this deck 10x better. It would read as watercolor and not as just mass print. I’m a huge fan of the thicker and more quality style cards. I know that makes them less functional with shuffling, but I want to appreciate the art that goes into it. You know?

It’s something I am very excited to work with. It’s going to be the perfect comfort item for a cozy reading nook.

Ok so it’s been a few months and I have got to say that this is hands down such an impressive deck to work with. I’m still working through the grimoire, but the deck is just sooooooo detailed and powerful that it gives just this extra sense of magic while reading. It has such interesting imagery and takes that it makes me work a little harder to read, which I love. It’s deff challenging me to be a better tarot reader, in the best way. I am really loving reading how I want, and then seeing how Xia interprets everything through the book. It’s an expensive deck, but I fully feel that anyone who wants to read on a higher level should invest in this so they can further develop their reading and connections. How has it been for you?

It’s a fun twist that I think helps people connect, plus sharing a beverage with someone makes it so much more casual and approachable. I love having a small community, and want to feel like I can actually build relationships and chat with people. This helps me do that! How has your knitting and crochet been going? Oh I have plans for all of it! I’ll be making videos showing how I make patterns and work with everything, I just have to pick which yarns are for what project. Although I do want to give yarns away once I hit monetized on here! The bigger my channel grows the more I’ll be able to do give aways

I totally get it. I can honestly say, at least in my experience, the more you actually do it the better it gets. I’ve been posting way more on here, and they aren’t all winners but my confidence and editing and energy on camera has gotten SO much better. Just do the thing, give yourself that chance to be better, you know?
