That riff at 2:33 is absolutely soul wrenching. Misery and longing expressed in few discordant notes.
Brutal AF!! The stamina and technique required to perform this song is just unreal. Gorguts is still one of my favourites.
Gorguts is the absolute GOAT. No one does it like them.

Death, Suffocation, Gorguts, Malevolent Creation, and Morbid Angel were my "go to" bands as a teenager.

To be honest, I first was kinda put off by the editing style of those 3 Gorguts videos but now on number three I'm really digging it. Nice change to the mostly static tripod videos you mostly get. Also kudos for the good sound quality.
thanks man -- didn't expect the negative vibe towards both sound and visuals although it is rather an interpretation in the vein of music clip aesthetics instead of an exact representation of everything that everyone on stage does. A montage of visually exciting moments following the rhythm and flow of the music while the color setting is meant to be some kind of rendition what the song is about.

thanks mate -- this is exactly what I wanted to achieve. the song's feeling dictates the editing rhythm. of course there are different ways to feel a song, but 'frantic' is a good way to describe it in my eyes & ears :-)

Hearing Forest LaPointe on Bass for Gorguts is magical. No hate to Colin at all but Forest is just a ridiculously technical player, man's just killing it in this performance and to have Patrice from Martyr on drums? I'd kill to see this lineup perform any Gorguts material.
