Big shout outs to Jessie for sharing her gift of writing and to our multitalented reader, Jay, for bringing the stories to life! Remembering the joy we celebrate. Even though my heart is sore after losing my mother last week, I know she got to meet her Savior face to face. Many Blessings to each and everyone!
This is exactly how I wanted this series to end up! I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to these books while doing my morning walks!! Two big thumbs up!!!❤❤❤❤
Another great set of books. You know your stuff about rural living and cowboys. That is important. Loved the turn around on Charlene! That's the best. I laughed out loud when I figured out what was happening.😂 Your books have so many real life situations that so encourage ladies especially going through bad situations. It's like you heard our story and put it on paper. Praying we have the same outcome. A second chance with a living, lasting relationship. Thanks. Jay, you are the best. Thanks for your part. You make the stories come alive.
it was cute. I don't listen to books very often as I love reading them but you do such a good job Jay, I enjoyed it. 'I do wish above all things that you might prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers as it says in 3 John 2. Prosperity is so much more than finances as you know. Jessie, I love your books as well as Julia's creative covers. such a talented family. you folks are truly blessed. Have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful Happy New Year. Be safe messing with your critters. My favorites were my horses tho I didn't mind farm work and also grew up on one. Blessings and love in Christ Judy
Thank you for this lovely gift! May God bless you with the joy and peace only He can give this Christmas and throughout the coming year! This was a beautiful story and, as always, you made it even more special.
Jay, you outdid yourself with this story! Now the'Dynamic Duo' will have to finish it. Looking forward to that for sure! Thank you so much, Jay Dyess and Jessie Gussman for entertaining us with hours of good wholesome enjoyment! May God richly bless you both!❤️❤️ Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I just finished this series. Oh my, what a treat! You are both so talented and make a great team. Also, Jessie you have a gift for storytelling. Thank you for neither adding to and taking away from God’s word. These were my first books from you and sorry but I’ll be stalking your playlist from now on. Thanks again!
Please stalk away! I'm so glad you enjoyed the series - you picked a good one to start with! (And I love your comment about Jessie's writing - neither adding nor taking away from God's word - perfect!)
What a perfect Christmas wish I woke up by accident and was just scrolling through when the story popped in how awesome thank you guys so much Merry Merry Christmas!
Hi Martha! I know I'd love a whole book on Miss Charlene, but this was just an added scene to finish up the Coming Home to North Dakota series - it's meant to just tie up the final story of the twelve books in the series (which you can find here: ruclips.net/p/PLMynUTDTXHZpzCtzo03qUVxbSkgKk-0iT). Hope that helps!
Call me crazy if you want, but after coming across this, I was hunting for the full version, thinking it was #13 in the "Coming Home to North Dakota" series. Who would have thought that after all the matchmaking 'antics' of the Piece Makers (which often had me mentally picturing the Golden Girls in their place), Miss Charlene would have the tables turned on her?? And, by the very couples that she and the Piece Makers had helped coax together, through some admittedly crafty means! Good cliff-hanger! Like at least one of the other commenters has alluded to, I'm curious to know "the rest of the story" as radio personality Paul Harvey used to say.
I thought it was a great send-off for the series, too! As far as the "rest of the story" (and yes, I'm old enough to remember tuning into our local radio station to listen to Paul, where they ran it right after school let out!), I'll have to defer to Jessie for that! 😁
@@SaywithJay I loved listening to Paul Harvey's "The Rest of the Story" too. I guess, for some reason, I was thinking there'd be more, as Charlene and Charlie are referenced in the Flyboys of Sweet Briar Ranch series.
I'm sorry I did it in a confusing way, Kathee. This is a bonus scene that words best after the 12th book in the Cowboy Coming Home series, Cowboy Marrying the Lady. It has all the couples in it from the series (and Jay is SO amazing at the voices). So, specifically to answer your question, I wouldn't call it a bonus scene for a specific book, but a nice little ending scene for the whole series. Hope that helps!
@@kathee5877 haha! There is no book...for now! Who knows what might happen in the future. ; ) And, the new series - Jay just sent me the audio of the first two chapters of the first book (release date is 1/20) - is set in Sweet Water, so you just never know...
Hi Judy! Jessie wrote that as kind of a special, stand-alone scene, so it's not really a part of any specific audiobook. You can find the whole Coming Home to North Dakota series right here though! ruclips.net/p/PLMynUTDTXHZpzCtzo03qUVxbSkgKk-0iT
Too short! I hope more of this story is coming!
Haha! That seems to be a theme. I think you'll be seeing more at some point, but I'm not writing it just yet. : )

I'm so sorry for your loss, Lisa, but it's so wonderful knowing you'll see her again. Have a very merry Christmas!
A sweet side story or our matchmaker. A lovely addition to the series.
So funny to see how they decided to go about things! Thanks for the fun story!
I know Jay said he had fun performing it, and I definitely had a lot of fun writing it - I'm so glad you enjoyed it; a win all around. : ) Thanks!
