I am loving this book. Another great book Jessie. Great job Jay as always you did an excellent job. Your voices are amazing. I smiled I cried.,an excellent book
I used to know a woman who was married to an oncologist & hematologist. She shared that she had asked him if he thinks there will ever be a cure for cancer and he told her, unfortunately no, he doesnt believe there will be. He said that there are so many different types and they are resilient and just as a treatment is found, it changes. He said that prevention and treatment, in his opinion, was what were the biggest things in the fight. That was especially interesting to me, because I had just gotten over my own cancer and had lost and was still losing, many people to cancer. It seems nowadays, when someone dies, the first thing people ask is "cancer?", because it is so common. It is horrific in any age, but my heart breaks more for children. This was a heart wrenching story and also a beautiful one. I was so invested in it. I love Jessie's writing and I love your narration Jay. Thank you.xx
This is my second book by this author. The first book made me want to discover more. This is the second time I'm listening to this book. I cried the first time and again. Gut wrenching, emotional, real-life situations. I love your books, and I really like your narrator. Thank you for posting.
Thank you, Natalie! I'll admit to probably spending waaaaay too much time going down the rabbit-hole to pick out those background scenes! Also, for what it's worth, nearly all of the lake scenes are actually Lake Michigan (although I'll admit there may be a few from Lake Superior and Lake Huron, as stand-ins, of course :) )
What a wonderful story by Jessie Gussman, it had me laughing and crying and the narration was so fantastic I couldn't stop until the whole book was done, I enjoyed everything about this.
Thanks, Denice! I've joked about other audiobooks and trying to make people cry, but holy cow, I was a mess for a couple of chapters in this one! SUCH a great book by Jessie!
A great story illustrating forgiveness, after messing up. The lady realizes anew & understands better what redemption means & the full price paid for her redemption. A great story with great explanations of the meaning of love.
There were definitely hard parts of this book, which I knew there would be from the previous book’s epilogue. Some things were definitely way different than I expected. It was a good read. I’m enjoying this close knit town. The audio of this really adds emotion to this story. Phew!! This is a tougher series to listed too. Real life.
Thanks, Deborah - I can't even begin to imagine what that would be like, but I think Jessie really did such a wonderful job capturing that raw emotion.
This is the first story I heard in this series. I enjoyed it very much. Are these stories about the people in Blueberry Beach and not a family like the other ones I’ve listened to?
Thanks, Coach - glad you liked it! If memory serves, none of the main characters between books are related, but for sure, it's not like, say, Cowboy Crossing, which centers around a main family.
Hi Christina! I've never been, so I don't have any firsthand experience, but this video seems to imply they're pretty common - ruclips.net/video/frb4aPgOx9A/видео.html
Love. Love. Loved it!❤ I had tears of sadness for the loss and tears of happiness for the new life ❤. Thank you.
Thank you, Ruta! I agree - such a powerful story from Jessie!
Oh i loved this story, even with tears in my eyes. Jessie and Jay thank you for such a memorable story.
You're very welcome, Susan (and you should try narrating with tears in your eyes! 🙂)!
I am loving this book. Another great book Jessie. Great job Jay as always you did an excellent job. Your voices are amazing. I smiled I cried.,an excellent book
Thank you so much!
I just finished this book, and so happy to have found you. My mother in law is vision impaired and she would enjoy listening. Thank you.
I'm glad you liked it, and I hope your MIL does too!
Great series. Blueberry Beach seems like a place I would love to visit. The storyline has many turns, but I totally enjoyed it.
It is a great series - and I'm right there with you. Jessie's writing is so wonderfully detailed - I almost feel like I'm there!
This was a great story to listen to. There were times it was sad and other times I would laugh. You will not be disappointed listening to this book.
Thank you - so glad you enjoyed it!

This is a practical book about what happens after a one-night stand. Of course, I have once again enjoyed Jay's reading.
Ebook only. Thank you W. Kimbrel

So true to life, the feelings after losing a child, no matter the cause of death. Also the need of a friend or more to help while you grieve.
Thanks, Deborah - I can't even begin to imagine what that would be like, but I think Jessie really did such a wonderful job capturing that raw emotion.
Love, love, love this book! But have tissues handy!
Glad you liked it, and yes, you definitely should! Amazing story by Jessie!
Great book
So very good - one of Jessie's best, I think! Thank you, Phyllis!
I almost turned this off because I can't stand when people are so, "woe, is me"!! I am glad I stuck it through.
Hi Amanda! Glad you did - and thanks for listening!

Thank you, Zelda! I agree! I can't wait for the next book (tentatively planned for release next month)!
