- Here's a demo of the MAM Music & More MAP-1 hardware arpeggiator and what features it has. For this demo I'm also using the Sequential Prophet 5 rev 4.

Hey my friend, I just seen your video about Prophet and MIDI arpeggiator. I got the same arpeggiator device from a friend but somehow doesn't not work with the prophet for me. I tried with an other synth, it was working properly. Can you send me your Global settings on the Prophet? How did you set up? I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
P5 midi out, to arp midi in. P5 midi in, to arp midi out. Global settings: Turn "Local Ctrl" off. "Midi out" should be set to midi (not usb). Hope this helps.
Thx for the video. Curious, with the midi-sync/daw issue…have you been able to sync it to any other equipment?
You're welcome. Haven't actually tried syncing it to other stuff than my DAW. I might try it, just to see if it makes any difference.
So, after you dedicate the MIDI In/out’s of the Prophet 5 to connect the arpeggiator unit, then you can’t use P5’s MIDI In/Out connectors to connect to other Midi devices 🤔🤔.
No, not unless you use a midi box to split the signal. I mean, there's a midi thru as well, but I guess that will only take you so far.
