I've got a 2000 indonesean F310. Sounds like no other Guitar i've played, it's got a lot more bass than the one played here. Amazing instrument, i don't think i'll ever need another acoustic. Yamaha's are durable as hell. It's been beaten the snot out of by the previous. Bought it in a pawnshop. It sounds absolutely wonderful on recordings

If you're not into the twangy sound you may hear in a lot of demonstrations, put some thicker strings on this one and it is a total beast in terms of sound and playability. This one is probably the best in its price range - the build quality, the wood, the fretboard and the way it sits in your hand. I bought it in 2013, still haven't heard any guitar that sounded and felt better for the price. Not even Fenders that are slightly more expensive. There is really something special about the neck and the fretboard of F310, cause even as a beginner I felt like I was in total control of it. It's not bulky and not too small. What's even better is that it does not have that peculiar dull wooden barrel sound that most guitars for this price have, it has a damn good resonance which allows you to put on thicker strings with a deeper sound and still have it sound clear and rather crisp all across the board.
@@Izznum if I recall correctly it was fine. Not too high, not too low. I don't remember any trouble fretting or serious fret buzz. It's the way they usually set them up. But it may change depending on the environment it was stored in and no two will have the exact same action.
@@MaDKrEvEdKo Alright thank you for your answer..I'm afraid that when I buy the package the action is too high..they have two packages..one is the normal package and one is special one with the guitar action lowered but the price is higher
@@Izznum just buy the cheaper one and lower it yourself or take the guitar to another shop who will charge you less for the truss rod adjustment. You will also have to learn to do this yourself at some point, since every now and then the action may change with the seasons as it gets warmer and colder in your place. You may also want to adjust it later when you get better at playing and will want better tone out of it. Watch a couple of videos on how to do it on RUclips and do it extra carefully. You should be fine. I probably messed around with my truss rod a month after I bought it just because I was interested in how it would change how the guitar feels.

I got this guitar 2 years ago. At first it wasnt really that great because i had to adjust the neck and action. I guess i was expecting that for a guitar with a brand with such a reputation you wont need any of those anymore. But once i got it set up man it was playing great. 2 years later its still sounding great. Even through years of tough weathers its still great.
Yeah, I have this guitar like for almost a year now. And it is a really good guitar even for a beginner. You just have to change it to steel strings in order to achieve that crispy tone. I recommend this to anyone...
Lots of other people do this :) I just wanna play and let You decide :) Playability is a variable parameter dedicated to particular piece and....preferences of person who readjusts the instrument at the shop(if there is any) I had enormous amounts of time laughting when somebody was trying to describe poor playability while I took a wrench and made fastest, simpliest truss rod adjustment and they were like..."oh...sorry...my bad...now it seems just fine". I try to avoid discussing on the topic. I probably will regret positing to response as well :)

I had a very bad experience with my Yamaha f310, i came back home and found that water is everywhere in my room even in my guitar inside it was full, but nothing happened since that day my guitare is still working without problems and the wood inside is just perfect like nothing happened.. YAMAHA the love
Had mine for 5 years , I changed the bridge and the nut to bone ... The pins to brass and obviously the strings have changed multiple times. It's never sounded that good lol... It is a good guitar though especially for beginners . Would recommend .
@@javierf6162 these are really good guitars for a first guitar and with some relatively cheap upgrades such as the ones I mentioned it does enhance the sound by a long way . Actually going back to mine after seeing this video I compared it and sounded better than I remembered ( has been shelved after I finally upgraded to a Taylor GS mini.... Awesome guitar by the way ) With a good set up these things really do last and play really well.. I think the Cort is more expensive I believe? I haven't checked . But if that's the case you could by one of these and use the extra to do some upgrades.

Nobody talking about this song playing is Waste of Time by FM Static. Well I have this guitar and it is really good as a beginner guitar. If you want a pickup, you can buy and clip it to this. Also replace the strings with high quality strings. It sounds like an expensive guitar...
This is just a buch of improvised chords and licks. No intention to play any song but these days all these chords combinatiosn have been already used so many times in music, that you could probably name lots of songs takins some little parts of this impro.
@@Izznum Hi brother. I didn't adjust the string height if that is what you mean. It has the original strings. But I had a tuner, and my E string is not in tune accurately with my tuner. So I have to hit a chord on a fret to sync with the tuner. I didn't adjust the height because it's fine and I didn't know how to adjust the height. :D The sound on the video sounds almost exactly the same. Jesus loves you brother. Godbless.

@@Izznum Usually the string action is medium to high in the way beginner judge things. It is simple becasue not all players like insanely low action and compromised fret buzz. Usually the intention of manufacturer is to deliver the guitar that doesn't buzz when somebody grabs it in the store. There is also a fact of envioriment conditions and the "live factor" of wood. It hard to say that when somebdy here tells you that his guitar had let's say 2mm action on XII fret, then you'll get the same. Guitar is a living thing :) But...there's a good news. 90% cases requiers only a simple trus rod adjustment. Other 10% needs to fix the nut, saddles or frets...

Oh very nice!! I am totally a beginner and I bought Indonesian f310 but i am not satisfied about the sound cause I heard buzzing. I do not know how to set or check if it is the right neck curvature and action. After tuning the guitar and played a little, I had my index finger hurt for 2 days!! do you recommend me to use silicon protectors? what's your advice to get rid of buzzing?
