  • Today's episode you'll see how our front yard coconut tree disappears in about 5 minutes even without the removal truck even entering our property and across high voltage power lines. I also visit a local plant nursery and do a quick update tour of our garden here at Villa Feliz.

    Hi James, when we first planted the Angels Trumpets, we had the same problem. I couldn't find out which insects were the culprit so I just let them be. They kept putting out leaves, then flowers. I then notices that there were fewer insects attacking them. I. guess the insects had been too stoned after eating the leaves and maybe died off. The plants just keep growing and doing well. We are now putting our Lobster claws into pots. If you would want a couple of them, I'll give some to you. My Birthday is coming soon, hope y'all can come again.

    Our favorite fruits as well. Your garden continues to look amazing. Watching the coconut tree removal, I remembered when they used a crane to put our 7 foot spa going over our two story roof. It was gut-wrenching.

    Good day James. My papaya tree broke off the top due too many papayas. I hated to see that. I trimmed it back in hopes it will recover.

    • @MyPIDream
      @MyPIDream  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hopefully you saved some of the seeds if you like that specific variety. My experience if the main trunk breaks it won't grow back or it will be an odd growth at the break point.

    Beautiful ! Wow your house is so beautiful now. Excited to see the Chico! The first time I ever had one was many years ago in Oahu, my wife picked it out when we went shopping in a street market, I had never had one, it was like brown sugar it was sooo good! The other name I saw for them when I was searching around is Sapodilla en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manilkara_zapota

    Hello James, the lansonnes is the first fruit I got to like with Apis in 1985 when I went for the first time in the Philippines and surely I will have one in our garden. Hope you could help me to choose the good one later on when I will be retired there.

    Hi James you're making me selos again (hehe). Mangosteen was one of the first fruits I was introduced to while visiting the Philippines and I love them. Unfortunately, they are a rare find here in NYC. What became of your avocado tree (another favorite of mine)?
    May God continue to bless you, Ness, and your loved ones.

    Hi James and Ness. We enjoy your vlogs. I have a question but it’s going to be out of topic. It’s about your solar power system. We need the aircon when we sleep or else we won’t be able to. What happens during brownout? How long will the battery support the aircon? Thank you!

    • @MyPIDream
      @MyPIDream  10 месяцев назад

      Our backup Dyness batteries have more than enough reserve power to handle all our power consumption, including aircon, during all the non-solar hours of the day. I'll be doing an update soon on the solar system's performance.
