Hi James, when we first planted the Angels Trumpets, we had the same problem. I couldn't find out which insects were the culprit so I just let them be. They kept putting out leaves, then flowers. I then notices that there were fewer insects attacking them. I. guess the insects had been too stoned after eating the leaves and maybe died off. The plants just keep growing and doing well. We are now putting our Lobster claws into pots. If you would want a couple of them, I'll give some to you. My Birthday is coming soon, hope y'all can come again.
Our favorite fruits as well. Your garden continues to look amazing. Watching the coconut tree removal, I remembered when they used a crane to put our 7 foot spa going over our two story roof. It was gut-wrenching.
Beautiful ! Wow your house is so beautiful now. Excited to see the Chico! The first time I ever had one was many years ago in Oahu, my wife picked it out when we went shopping in a street market, I had never had one, it was like brown sugar it was sooo good! The other name I saw for them when I was searching around is Sapodilla en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manilkara_zapota
Hi James, i just would like to share with you how you would be able to know the perfect buko. When the next bunch of coconut right above it is as big as your fist then that is the right one.
Did you know that you can eat the heart of the coconut tree, just like palm hearts , it is in the center at the top , the new growth, try it , it taste just like coconut
Hopefully you saved some of the seeds if you like that specific variety. My experience if the main trunk breaks it won't grow back or it will be an odd growth at the break point.
Hi James, this is Lawrence Byrne. We visited your property way back when you were digging the foundations. We it be OK and suit you if we visited you next week? We have just started our house build and would be good to get some tips from you. Thanks Lawrence
Hi James you're making me selos again (hehe). Mangosteen was one of the first fruits I was introduced to while visiting the Philippines and I love them. Unfortunately, they are a rare find here in NYC. What became of your avocado tree (another favorite of mine)? May God continue to bless you, Ness, and your loved ones.
Hello James, the lansonnes is the first fruit I got to like with Apis in 1985 when I went for the first time in the Philippines and surely I will have one in our garden. Hope you could help me to choose the good one later on when I will be retired there.
Hi James and Ness. We enjoy your vlogs. I have a question but it’s going to be out of topic. It’s about your solar power system. We need the aircon when we sleep or else we won’t be able to. What happens during brownout? How long will the battery support the aircon? Thank you!
Our backup Dyness batteries have more than enough reserve power to handle all our power consumption, including aircon, during all the non-solar hours of the day. I'll be doing an update soon on the solar system's performance.

Hi James Hi Ness: Excellent specimen for coco limber ,nice and straight.
Hi James, thanks for showing your beautiful garden. You inspired me to work hard and plant more trees on my garden.
Beautiful yard, James. Thanks for sharing.
Our favorite fruits as well. Your garden continues to look amazing. Watching the coconut tree removal, I remembered when they used a crane to put our 7 foot spa going over our two story roof. It was gut-wrenching.
Amazing garden I love it

You have a great eye for plants and landscaping design!
James not making bad comment garden is lovely . Power wash paver bricks and seal them so no more green moss algae on them . Place looks great .
You have a suggestion for a paver sealer? Thanks for the idea.
Cool.
Great episode James!
smart decision... it is a danger to everyone; falling nuts to your head or whole tree falling down into your house during typhoon😀😀😀coriks🐪🐪🐪
Love James and Ness. Magandang umaga!
Good afternoon James and Ness😊😊

Thanks for the tip!
Great video very nice thank you for sharing. Great looking place
You have any paw paw trees
No, I was hoping to get paw paw seeds a long time ago but what arrived was not paw paw. 😢
Lanzones is a seasonal fruit. We bought lots of them a few months ago further south in Laguna. Very nice to eat when ripe.
Have you tried neem oil . All natural for the bugs .
I have some neem oil. Will try it when the new leaves start growing again. Thanks!
Did you know that you can eat the heart of the coconut tree, just like palm hearts , it is in the center at the top , the new growth, try it , it taste just like coconut
What a coincidence, our friends Dave & Emily were over here tonight and told us about the heart of the coconut tree. I didn't save it 😢
enjoying the sweet lanzones here in Dumaguete
long driving home now from Sta Catalina
We've been enjoying the lanzone's here as well. Seems everyone has them so we're grabbing them every chance we can.
...'a little suggestion✌😊 kuya James: remove "some" of those palm trees, put the fruit bearing trees instead?
Oh but I love my palms...gives me a "tropical" feeling that I've always dream of!
Good day James. My papaya tree broke off the top due too many papayas. I hated to see that. I trimmed it back in hopes it will recover.
Hopefully you saved some of the seeds if you like that specific variety. My experience if the main trunk breaks it won't grow back or it will be an odd growth at the break point.

Hey Lawrence. Please email me at mypidream@gmail.com so we can coordinate a meetup next week. Cheers!
Man they do that here in Michigan about every week 50 60 ft tress they're removing easy okay that no big thing anymore

Avocado tree doing great. It's just not avocado season, at least in the backyard here. I expect a mad harvest next season!

Camiguin has the best lanzones
Philippines is beautifull, We invite Americans to retired in our country.
were you able to taste the heart of the coconut tree?
No, unfortunately we did not find out about that wonderful treat until after the coconut tree was downed and removed 😢

Hello James. What’s the size of your lot (LxW)?
42m x 21m
Try planting a dwarf coconut definitely safer and more nuts
Have one already there in the ground. We think alike ;)
