Ian ousley being casted for sokka was the best decision this team made. He is literally sokka

When i watched the trailers, i was a bit unsure of him, but after seeing the first few episodes, i think he was perfectly cast.
I think his delivery sucks. He's monotonous while Jack was animated. The lines are great but his delivery is just so off.

I watched all 8 episodes I had to say, I would rewatch it no matter what type of mood I’m in
It's so good. Seeing some of the fans pissy bc it wasn't a shot by shot adaptation but they really kept the spirit of the show. I couldn't stop smiling at how wonderful everyone was in their roles.

The casting, the costume designs, the cinematics, the bending, the dive into lore that we never saw in the animation, I just LOVE everything about this live action. It is so well made. And I LOVE ZUKO BROOOO. I finished episode 6, and I am confident he will do this character absolute justice. He’s one of my favourite characters ever and I’m so glad he’s really loving up to it.
It was a great fun experience to watch! The only I complaint I have is that aang didn’t have his funny personality that he had in the animated series

Good thing we didn't see a group of 6 earthbenders doing a dance routine to throw a slow moving small rock like in the Shyamalan Airbender movie.

These young actors did exceptionally well, especially with production issues early on. And those issues could be seen in later Episodes of Book 1. Overall, respectful to the original series while being better in many respects to its source material.

@@seancarroll5803agree, her delivery was meh, especially that Katara in the OG was a pillar for the rest, she was mature, and well spoken… the actress would always mumble her words. Whereas the OG, Katara was like a storyteller.

Zuko and Uncle Iroh relation was my favourite and so far the best!! Dallas Liu and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee did a fantastic job in showcasing the stong bond between Zuko and Iroh. Hoping to see more of their moments in the upcoming seasons!

I binged the whole season today love the visual ,fights ,and casts bending choreography netflix did a excellent job its such a great adaptation major improvement from the movie some of the changes they made the story feel more fruid i hope there will be a season 2 ! Cant wait to see toph ,and more of azula taking over basing sa.

Wow, I've watched it already, and it's amazing! Fantastic live-action adaptation! I can't wait for the next season! It's action, drama, fantasy, and comedy-all in one! They're all amazing! Gordon is a brilliant actor for his young age, and he is so cute; he has a million-dollar smile too. Dallas is a versatile actor, he's amazing actor. Kiawentiio and Ian are amazing too. Paul, and Daniel are very good too. All the cast members are really doing a great job.
imo the show definitely has flaws, but thats bound to happen with a live action adaptation

It’s actually so good! I watched it all already and am so impressed! As I fan since the 2000s, I appreciate how it is geared towards us now as adults. It does tasteful fanfare and made the characters more relatable in some ways, which I didn’t think I’d say going into it. Really loved it! Highly recommend!

Even though I disagreed with some of the changes made from the original animated show, the live action series as a whole was amazing! Perfect casting, great affects, and most importantly they pronounced Aang's name right!

Ive been seeing a lot of negativity regarding this show and I have to say that I'm on episode 5 and I love what has been done. Sure, things have been rearranged a bit BUT I dont believe that it has hurt anything. Aang has kept his smile, which he didn't have in the awful movie. Im hopeful that we'll get a second season. I want to meet Toph, she's freggin awesome!

I saw all the episodes of the live action, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Rewatching it again. Hope there's gonna be a second season. The cast were incredible, portraying Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, and more.

They did such an amazing job! The only thing I would've changed is getting Dante Basco to guest star in it, even for a few minutes, I hope we get to see him in later seasons, pls give us loads more seasons

The Avatar kid has grown up. 😅 I think by the time season 2 comes out he would be not recognisable from season 1 and maybe creators has to use vfx+makeup for his face to look young.

To be honest it’s not that bad, but they can improved a lot with regards to the acting, the facial expression was not it for me. I mean not all of them are bad, but sometimes it felt just so awkward or cringey. But Compared to the movie this was way more better.

The series are good. People complain cause they want the same exact thing from animation to live action and because it's not 100 percent the exact same, they complain still. Just idiotic. This is good, I hope it gets renewed and they can finish the whole story. The 2010 version was really different, in a bad way.
