Surprised this channel has so few followers. Best frog fishing channel on RUclips. Keep it up! Would love to see some bank fishing at public ponds etc. Frog is my favorite big fish bait for pressured ponds hands down.
Very nice…my friend Peter that lives in Selkirk and his brother Johnny have found your channel and love it. He wants me to bring you down and stay at his place fish the lower Colorado there for speckled trout and reds. They have kayaks now.
Love your content man! I’m looking to buy a dobyns maverick rod for froggin and wanted to ask you what action is best for walking a frog? You make it look so effortless! Thanks man.
@@p0wershifter1 I would spend a little more money and get the dobbyns fury froggin/ flipping rod. I’m using a dobbyns kaden now which is the next step up but I’ve used the fury for years. It’s a great rod
Good stuff brother. Have you done a video on what rods/reels you use for certain setups/situations? If so lemme know. I frog with a 6’10 H out of my yak was just curious but I’m not in the land of 7 pounders flushing frogs 😂
@@davewesternky not yet. When I hit 3000 watch hours I’m probably going to do some members only stuff like that. Believe me I’m not pulling in 7s all the time. It’s actually been a minute sense I’ve caught one on a frog
@@aaronreneau1401 straight shank flipping. It gets through the cover better and a snell knot hooks the SHIT out of them. Just looking for a reliable brand right now though. The Trokars I’m using bend too easy
Frogman is my hero. Thanks for showing me how to fish a frog.
Grant is my idol. Taught me everything I know about fishing, he’s my inspiration and my light 😂

In this video I’m using a fury froggin flipping rod which is great. The Kaden is the next step up
Are you using a straight shank hook or EWG for your punch rig?

@@frogman8120 hell yeah, I gotta get me some of those. I hear the snell knot is the way to go with straight shanks
