    I part exchanged my Tiger Sport 1050 for a Tiger 900 a month ago. I have been riding for 40 years & I think the Tiger 900 is the best bike I have ever owned. The bike is packed with useful tech & is light enough to flick around a car park like a BMX. No more worrying about dropping it. I'm 2 up touring with my wife from Santander to Barcelona in July so will be interested to see how it performs on a long trip. The 900 has put the fun back in to biking again because it is so accessible.

    Good for you to have the energy to start a channel!! I picked up a GT Pro last year as well. I have an aging body with a few replacement parts and I can’t get after it the way I used to. My rationale is almost identical to yours. I’m in Idaho where dirt roads far outnumber the paved. The bike is a dream

    I bought a 2022 tiger 900 gt after getting back into riding after a 25 year absence raising two daughters and getting them through college. Thought it was time for me to have some fun and what a time Im having on this bike. I have absolutely no regrets on my choice. There is no perfect one motorcycle to check all the boxes however this one is as close as it gets. It does everything well.

    Mate. This I think is the best video of this type of RUclips today. And in saying that I would watch 5 plus per day in the last year that I haven't had a bike (longest in the last 28 or so years) . You explained reasons and fairly evaluated the others. I just about always knew I would buy a 900 gt pro over the 1200 rally and the 1290 ktm s. But you really cemented that I have made the right choice. Keep making content. Subscribed.

    hello from Savoie, I have a basic 900 tiger 900 gt in a2 version. It is already very well equipped, the only option I added is the shifter. I don't like crash bars and triumph suitcases, I fitted them with sw motech, I think it gives it a more adventurous look😂. 18,000 kms in 1 year and 8 months, pure pleasure. At first I thought of reselling it when I pass the full permit gateway, but I will unleash it when the time comes because I like it too much. I thought I had splurged on the purchase, as a beginner, but I don't regret it at all. You have clearly explained the process of reflection before your decision to buy. the tiger 850 is also good for those who want to save money.
    best wishes

    Great video. I'm just about to pick up a 900 GT having gone through pretty much the same analysis you did (except for the HD). My alternatives were; F750GS, MG V85, Ducati Multistrada V2. I think narrowing the choice / making a final decision can involve a lot of subjective considerations. Here's why I discounted the alternatives. F750 - discontinued line and didn't find the looks appealing. Ducati - cost. MG V85 - I wanted to really like this one but I was nervous about dealership sparsity and 'quirkiness'. So I opted for the Tiger.

    I purchased one a week ago and experienced significant heat on my knees from the radiator vent. I was 10 miles away from the dealership on the freeway when it started. I turned my knees out to the side in an unnatural riding position and the heat was gone. I confirmed after viewing RUclips reviews from owners that it wasn't just me. I returned the bike....at significant loss of course. Exquisite bike otherwise but ultimately unrideable in my view.

I Ride a R1200GS and love it, but that’s me. If I was to ever get a different Bike, it would probably be the Yamaha. I really like the looks of that one also, plus it sounds great. @kondormotorides  Год назад

      The Ducati Desert X wasn't available when I bought the Tiger but I still would've discarded it for the same reason I didn't go with the Africa Twin: 21" front wheel. I think that's really useful if you do a lot of offroading, but if it's only temporary then it's more of a detriment ✌️

    Excellent video! First I am surprised and impressed that looks matter to you as a motorcycle rider and you admitted it. I talk to a lot of guys who ride bikes and they seem to mostly care about speed or just riding. I wish I could be that free it would make a lot of things easy. I was surprised that you went for a bike with the beak but I am glad that you explained that to us in the video. This is a bike that is on my "bike tree" so I am glad that you talked about it. I just watched your video of the BMW R 1250 RS and that bike is on my tree as well. Between the two bikes the Triumph GT Pro and the BMW R 1250 RS which did you like on the highway and which looked better to you? Also, given your height and weight which one was more comfortable and easy to maneuver around? Thanks excellent piece! BTW have you test rode the Moto guzzi V 100 Mandello and thought about how it stacks up to the BMW RS 1250 and which would you chose? Thanks

    Julie from the States. I learned to ride on a Versys x300 these last two years. I'm looking also at the Tiger 850 & 900. Since I don't travel far, I do not know if I can justify paying the extra money for the 900 GT pro, rather than the 850. How important are the features and the 900 adjustable suspension to you?

    • @kondormotorides
      @kondormotorides  Год назад +1

      The Tiger 850 is a very odd thing. They don't even sell it here in Europe. It's basically the same as the Tiger 900 GT but with -10HP and a smaller TFT dash. What I like most about the GT Pro, apart from the electronic suspension which is absolutely awesome, are the up-down quickshifter and the heated grips and seats. It makes this an all-year bike for me in Spain. I guess it all comes down to each person's budget and some of these items may be available as accessories in other models, but I'm very happy I went for the GT Pro ✌️

      @kondormotorides  Год назад +1

      The Norden 901 is an awesome looking motorcycle. I love that it doesn't have the infamous beak but it also has a 21" front wheel which is why I ruled it out. 21" is not ideal for mostly asphalt riding in my mind ✌️

    Just found your channel and have enjoyed. Your channel was put up by RUclips as I’ve been researching this model from triumph.
    For 2 years I have had my Suzuki 1050XT and am happy but occasionally find it too heavy especially when slow turning.
    It’s a shame you hadn’t ridden the V Strom as I would like to know what your thoughts might have been. I have a demo ride tomorrow 10th August on a GT pro but they are expensive at nearly £14k. My V Strom which is like new and only 5000 miles is being priced at £7k…..that prices the triumph out of the equation and I’ll keep it rather than give it away. Going to test just too see if it’s any better. Take care.

      In the real world riding scenario, flat footing or at least flat footing on either foot is important. Yes, short folks can overcome taller bikes( Enduro or motorcross type), but a tall top heavy bike? Did you really want to maneuver in and out of traffic? Drop it and have a good workout on a Hot humid and rainy days? Maybe think smarter and not fiddle around big tall bikes. 😂
