What a badass perspective I lived down street my whole life and never had anyone show how to actually send it I'd never be able to ride like that now even close but awesome Point of view good work! Jay Ezra should like this
I was at Budds Creek many many times through the years and have seen many rail and bail on "The Big Gulp". The most awesome s8ghts was when they had the 125/500 Pro Nationals there in the 90's. It was just so awesome to see Johnson, Bayle, Stanton, Wardy, and everyone else in the 500's roll on the throttle and launch that jump!!! Those are sounds that I will never forget!!
first video i have watched on your channel and i know i will watch more. you are a great rider, got my first dirt bike in june and i love riding, but its to cold in my area now sadly
That helmet came takes away all the fun of seeing the bike and rider from the side lines. I would have love to have seen that ride. Very good rider for sure.
Scotter Jones use to do the big gulp going up hill on a cr85expert(big wheel) every lap in school boy in the late 90s, he also use to do the down hill tripple coming back down hill after the finish line up top. Scotter Jones was a beast
I ate it trying to jump the big gulp in the 90s. Did a flying W after landing on the face of the triple. I think its bigger now but back then it was wide open in 3rd on my yz250 and click 4th. Its the big gulp from the 90a when the jump was sponsored by 7-11 😊 You are ripping for sure!!!
Nothing feels better then your gut doing summersaults as you approach a jump with that bike pinned and screaming!! Gotta fully commit or things will end up bad
Such a great video!! Grateful for you man. Quick question. I’m going to budds in a bout a month. Gear wise. Are you in 3rd or 4th off these booters… and what tire you like there ?? Thanks man!!
Glad you enjoyed 😄 I’m on stock gearing and everything was basically 3rd. The track gives the right speed for everything. The big step up might also work easier than it looks in this video depending how they prep the corner, so don’t be scared to let ‘er rip. Tire wise I was running a beat Starcross 5 because it’s what I can afford 😂 You can def get away with a paddle from like 9 am - noon. After that it gets mega hard pack
You’re the man 🙏🏁. Thank you brother… I’m on a 24 crf 250 so I know is not the same .. but I was hoping to gauge whether I’m hitting it in 3rd wide open or somewhere inside or 4th lol. Thank you again man. See you out there I’m sure 🏁
Good job dude....enjoyed the ride....it was fun. Total commitment on that triple....congradulations....how do you step up to conquering that without feeling you have to do it all the time and to look for as something else to push the envelope without catastrophic failure?
Thank you very much, Robert :) There's always a chance of crashing, but I try to keep things just on the edge of my comfort zone. After following that 450 the lap before and seeing his speed, I knew I could at least make it to the top of the landing with a small case. I try to never blindly send myself.
Got into mx about 30 years old when I had cash too get a cr250 2003 broke both my arms in 1 year . Was always trying too be like these guys but to no avail . Loved it tho & would still try as hard at 55 years old . Looks easy 🤪
Definitely thought about it! It would be sick to record some training, hit a qualifier or two and then (hopefully) send it at Loretta's. Unfortunately can't afford the races at the moment. Maybe I'll try and hunt for some sponsors next year :)
I always knew Jay’s van was actually a full factory team set up

Dream track! Really felt that feeling in the stomach when you’re just pinning it for a big jump! Awesome vid
I was wanting him to shift one more time :)
Same felt like i was the one pulling the trigger on that thing lol
Sure gives ya a real appreciation for what the pros do on the outdoor season. It’s truly incredible
Mad props for sacking up and huckin’ big gulp. It’s way bigger than it looks on TV!
That's an awesome track Jay. Big effort on the triple. Loved the heel clicker at the end. 😎👍
For some reason this is the first mx vid of yours I’ve watched. Going back and binge watching all of them. You rip every kind of bike you touch jay :)
That gave me the stomach floaties just watching nicely done!!
Sick Vid dude! I just bought an old RM250 and this has given me such a spark to get it cleaned up and onto the track! Much love from South Africa.
Thanks for making the captions easy to read without having to focus on just reading
That was sick! Love your mx vids, especially the GoPro shots!
Is anyone else moving there head with the turns as he leans or just me? His content is just to immersive! No wonder his van is so kitted out!
Dude you rode really well, thanks for sharing your commentary. Hope you're proud!
More of this, this is so entertaining and so much fun watching. You kinda good on that monster 💪💪
Love the Moto content, and the heel clicker at the end 😂
Hahaha clicker sealed the deal
What a badass perspective I lived down street my whole life and never had anyone show how to actually send it I'd never be able to ride like that now even close but awesome

:) secret motor man
Jay doing his voice-over in the back of the TARDIS van.... Then he gets all sus at 4:48. What was you doing to that innocent gas can¿? 😂
You have to spend some quality time with your race fuel before putting it in the bike
love the sends and the two smoke
I sure do miss riding Budds.
Might have to plan a road trip.
Thanks for posting. Looking good on the YZ.
Don't be clowning on my license plate, yo!
Super effin fun!! "Gettin' Loose!"
Dude that’s a big jump. Good job Jay.
Thank you :)
Absolutely legend. Felt like me doing a 110ft table top in Spain. Was like na.. maybe? Ok I’m hitting it. Exactly the same emotions as you haha😂
Hell Yah on not being afraid to hit that up hill triple. Good job bro.💯🤙✌️🙏🇺🇸👊✊💣
Wish I knew when you were there, I m only 35min from that track! You were definitely getting some lines figured out.
Sorry! Unplanned stealth mission, haha. Next time I'll make it more known :)
ha dude loved the heelclicker at the end! was always my favourite trick to do.
Never rooted for someone soo much on a youtube video before seeing you hit that was great!
That was sick as hell dude!!! Gnar🤘🤘🤘
Awesome ride Jay! I haven't been able to take my 2022.5 KTM 250 out in quite some time and this helped to put me back on the bike!
Things sounds mint! Glad you broke it out :)

Heyyy my home track thats 45 mins away! Never see anybody post content on Budds Creek, so it's cool when people do!

That was pretty sick, sir ...
Check that off on the bucket list
Nailed that triple ❤
That helmet came takes away all the fun of seeing the bike and rider from the side lines. I would have love to have seen that ride. Very good rider for sure.
I prefer the outside shots as well. Unfortunately this was a solo mission so no one could hold the camera
Well done dude
Thank you :)
That was nuts

Nice job on the gulp!!! Of course I let you down when you filmed me smh lol. You were ripping bro!
Nahh it was the camera curse, haha. Thanks man
total beast my stomach was turning like crazy for you!
You got a few screws loose my guy, never scared of sending the things you say "I'm scared of"
I'm definitely scared but the loose screws help me forget, hahaha

amazing video, keep up the good work
Thank you!
That track is prime af
Super fancy mud scraper!
Paid the big bucks for that high tech tooling
Brooo I thought your grip was comin off in the start of the vid!!!
wide open 2 stroke triple was crazy
9:00 needed saying thanks!
That is amazing suspension work. Not that many years ago you would’ve been on your head casing the triple.
It's crazy what the bikes can handle now. Especially considering my suspension is so blown out, hahaha

I never did that uphill triple yet
“Jay goes to Loretta’s 2024” should be a thing

Must be so Rad to ride that track.💯🤙✌️🇺🇸🙏💣
Pretty eye-opening experience after seeing it on TV for so long. Worth the trip if you get the chance
Hey man, really curious what camera you use for when you're riding. Looks great!
This is all on the Hero 11
Ripping!
:)
Even some 450 pros don’t hit Big Gulp. It’s intimidating but videos do no justice.
is that 3rd you are in for the triple, would it not be able to pull 4th off it feel like you could but not sure what gearing you have
That was 3rd. Could do 4th if I was able to flow the corner better, but I needed a rut or anything other than the flat track setup, haha.
@@jaydalton putting a 51 tooth rear helps alot on tracks to get into higher gears for jumps out of turns
