Going last week of August 2023; my mom and dad have been in 50 cruises. Unfortunately my mom passed away before she could go on the Allure. However, my father and I are going as a tribute to her. Lots of emotions.

He started out with the most boring features ever. I would have started with an impact on deck 5 then kinda intermixed boring and wow.

You should try Wonders of the Sea.... Beautiful ship and HUGE!!! We went on a cruise March 26th 7 days. Love it!!!!!

I’m so excited 🎉I just booked a cruise in April with my daughter and sister! Last cruise was August 2023 on Wonder of the Seas with 17 family members. It was my mom’s last cruise, sadly she passed away. She introduced us to cruising, made it to Diamond level and refused to cruise with any other cruise line. ❤RC

I just got back from my cruise on the Allure of the seas, I enjoyed everyday I was on the ship,, not once did I feel motion sickness, the workers were very nice , the food was great and the entertainment was great also, if I get another opportunity to go on a cruise, it would definitely be the royal carribean
I was on Allure of the seas it was AWSOME it was huge, it rode smooth. The food was beyond amazing I miss the cruise soo much. It was an incredible experience Allure Of The Seas was truly an Allure
I took this ship for our honeymoon and it was absolutely stunning! Every detail is incredible the drinks were strong, food was delicious! If you have the chance take it you won’t regret it

We just got off Allure last Sunday. I love Allure and enjoyed that she didn’t have Ultimate Abyss blocking the view from the Boardwalk. We had a crown loft suite and was so glad because my husband got Covid on Day 6 so we spent the last two days quarantined to our suite. We really appreciated the extra space and second bathroom under those circumstances. Fortunately, it was a mild case and he is fine now. Loved watching your video and reminiscing about our trip. We are booked on her again when she comes to Port Canaveral after her time in Galveston. ❤

I watched this video before I went on my cruise last month. I will say the video does not do it justice the second you step on board.
It is truly beautiful and lively and I enjoyed every second of it.
Little tip for those with teens: if they want to do complimentary excursions onboard like ice skating (reserve for this one! you can only do it once and do it early!) or wave rider, make sure their parent/guardian is attending to sign off on waivers. It’s not mentioned in the app information for those in the teens age bracket because it usually only has the requirement of having a parent between ages 6-12 as an example but for those under 18, you will need to accompany them to at least legally allow them to do these. My nephew got turned away from wave rider even though I was an attending adult but they might check digitally for the parent in the cabin because their waiver was on a tablet.

My husband and I had a set of formal photos taken in Central Park, during the twilight transition, as the lights were coming on. That shoot produced some of our favorite pictures. Central Park in the afternoon to early night is one of my favorite places on any Oasis class ship.
I have a cruise booked for next year on Allure and I love seeing videos like this that give a walk through. It's nice to have views before getting on the ship. Love this channel.
Love this review! I was on the Allure in June and I loved it! My favorite hangout for quiet time was the aqua theater, since there were no shows during the day, it was always peaceful. I also enjoyed the seating area on the pool deck. I was disappointed with Chops. My steak was overcooked and the food was bland. The mdr was much better. I highly recommend this ship.

My two absolute must haves are some water slides and a lot of pools to chose from. The factor that makes me lean towards liking the ship is the solarium. It is nice that cruises have an área just for adults too. Safe cruising to all.

My favorite spots: The Solarium for the hot tubs, no kids and they are not as crowded; and the Trellis Bar in Central Park - quiet bar to take your date to, then go for a walk in the park after.
Matt, I enjoy watching your short format videos - they’re super informative! This is the first of your long format videos I’ve seen, and it’s excellent. It’s so thorough and to the point, with excellent suggestions. I think you touched on every part of the ship. Keep doing these updated ship tours!
My first cruise was on the Allure 10 years ago. Best vacation ever - I’ve never been more relaxed! After seeing your tour, not much seems to have changed other than some aesthetics and entertainment. It brought back a lot of happy memories.
I’m fortunate that RCCL decided to move the Allure to Galveston in November. It’s nice to not have to spend extra on plane tickets. My SO and I immediately booked a sailing in December. It’s her first time, and this video was a great intro to the ship. I don’t mind that the Allure has not been amped - she’s a fine ship! I’m looking forward to the nostalgia, and we’re both looking forward to a week of fun and relaxation on one of the best ships in the fleet.

Loved Allure. Stayed in a Boardwalk balcony and loved it. Loved walking thru Central Park but it was always so windy. Took some time to get a good picture! This is an awesome ship.

Haven’t been on Allure yet - sailing on her in January. My favorite area on Symphony was Central Park - especially at night. We enjoyed our Central Park Balcony room so much that we booked one for our upcoming cruise on Allure out of the new terminal in Galveston.

The best part for me was the Costal kitchen. My wife & I booked a suite for our anniversary & all the perks that come with it were amazing. Had many nights of laughter & great drinks with the bar tenders & waiters, food was amazing every time & service made us feel like royalty the entire time. Will definitely be back soon!!
Considering the Allure for a trip in Oct 2024. Been on the Symphony and this definitely gives it a run for it’s money. I actually think for the money this ship is a better fit! We are considering a loft suite for this trip. Literally perfect

This ship sold me I’m taking this cruise in March
I will be taking my first cruise ever and a solo trip for my 60th birthday on the Allure in February 2024. This video was very helpful in helping me get acclimated to what the ship has to offer. I can’t describe my experience in words seriously because i am amazed with the Staff\crew members they served us food all the time we got so pampered now, food for Dine in and buffet is amazing everything is included 90% of the food places are free and we enjoyed the most of it.Secondly, i am in shock to see their strictness towards the staff they follow protocols so strictly i mean not even a gold can be lost on ship lol My husband lost his phone somehow and due to loyal staff we found it in guest services. They have many activities running as well comedy shows, water park, iceskating,movie night,singing shows and many but Best part is Day care on 14 deck which most of the people are unaware lol and so well educated teachers to handle ur kids they teach you computers, science and conduct various activities (age vise they have different classrooms)better than here in schools which closes at midnight. Also they have 3 days island stops u can enjoy tooo. All in all it was my best relaxing vacation ever 🙏🙏thanks to the crew members ❤️🛳

Absolutely love allure. The best Broadway show, and Samba is the best food I’ve had on a cruise yet. Weirdly enough, I actually prefer that it’s not upgraded and hope it stays that way for a while. It’s nice to have an oasis class with cheaper cost, I’m not really into slides, so I like having views instead, and it’s kind of nice seeing the original model of oasis class.

I'm so glad that Allure still has Sabors on the Boardwalk and that it still has the Champagne Bar, instead of the robot bar. I was on Oasis when it had the champagne Bar and loved it. The drinks and atmosphere was so much better than the robot bar! The food and the atmosphere at Sabors on the boardwalk with its outside seating is awesome. I will most definitely enjoy several meals there while on my spring 2923 cruise. Very much looking forward to it😊.

just came back, my first cruise so it was a nice experience. spent a lot of time at sorentos and cafe promenade since its opened late. sorentos had free pizza and water. cafe promenade had free water, coffee, some wraps and dessert for free, the special coffee cost extra which i avoided. up in the pool deck is a small area with free ice cream, went there many times. Love the main dining room for dinner, as me being poor, never got to tried food like that. food was the best there, fresh and got to try foods i never tried before. you can book it for 5pm or 8pm dinner, my family wanted to change times, so we just talk to the manager and he switched it for us. For breakfast, we prefer the wind jammer buffet cause they serve almost the same things as the breakfast of the main dining room, the breakfast buffet at windjammer had more options. For lunch, we had mexican food when we were at coco bay that was free, buffet style. didn't get to try the mexican restaraunt on the boat, because it closes so early, i think 5pm. we were either nassau port or coco bay port, by the time we got back, it was usually closed. theres also park cafe, but i didn't really like it, they had free bagels, and the same wraps they have at cafe promenade. hot dog stand was good, it was free, only used it once cause windjammer buffet had me so stuffed already. The shows weren't really for me, i watched mama mia, aqua show, ice skating. I enjoyed the comedians, he kept of making fun of people that sat in front or came in late. I enjoyed the adult games, it was a nice laugh. enjoyed the pool and hot tub at night, you can rent towels, but if you don't bring it back, they charge you for it. I heard a couple of people in front of me got mad cause their cleaners took their towels in the hotel room, now they are on the hook for it. Nassau wasn't bad, i heard many reports of crime and stuff. We just stayed near the port, there was live music and lots of small gift shops so we just looked around. if you venture a little further from the port, you do have people harassing you for taxi or to buy stuff, but never felt threaten. Family enjoyed coco cay and the beaches, free ice cream, water, watered down juice, and the mexican buffet. overall a nice experience, there's a 18 dollars a day tip per person, so it adds up. Check the tv, you can scan a qr code for events for the day, or there's a channel that tells you what events are on. For shows, we booked them, but missed all of them, so we just lined up when they had a showing at another time, people that book first got in first, which is fine, plenty of room. for my first cruised, overall i enjoyed it.
My family and I will be on The Allure of the Seas this August. This is my first cruise and I am excited.
Central Park is definitely one of the best places on the ship the environment with the high side ceiling and open top such an impressive environment

Doing a back to back on Allure in April next yr. So, I am anticipating gaining at least ten pounds after seeing the wonderful menu items and restaurants.
I am so glad you made this! I've never cruised but hope to and we live within driving distance of Galveston. So, from what I understand, we're most likely going to be on Allure. I'll be traveling with a teen so was sad about the lack of water slides for her, and for me the Wonderland restaurant, but now I know we'll be in for a fantastic experience no matter what!

Seems like a awesome ship loved the sky bar eats & drinks, breakfast & lunch also opposite another eatery, liked the Italian restaurant & sushi bar, got to go on on this vessel, seems like I'd seriously ha e an awesome ding dong time, a must!!!

On the Oasis class ships, I really like to book on deck 8 - the central park deck. I am looking forward to my first cruise on Allure in December!

GREAT tour! Did back to back on Allure in 2014, and going back on her in April 2023. Looking forward to seeing my favorite RCCL ship. (Please keep Allure as it is and not add all the slides, etc. This is a great adult ship)

The only time I spent in my cabin was for sleeping, an inside cabin was perfect for me, no light I could sleep as late as I wanted to. One of the best shore excursions I've ever taken was in a submarine. I wish I could recall where it was.
The 2x Flowriders! I've already wanted to learn how to surf and having two of them on deck should ideally keep lines down!

I love Oasis class ships. Have sailed on Oasis and Allure and booked on Harmony for an 8 night. I never felt really crowded EXCEPT for when going into the MDR, It's a trip seeing probably a thousand or more people in front of you but they handle it with class and style, it's incredible really. Although specialty dining is where it's at for me. MDR is good though, better than just good, exceptional.

I was on the September 11th sailing, I DID try my luck at Royal-up and DID get upgraded to a balcony room with a LARGE balcony when i bid on a regular balcony, i sailed solo so i bid just above the minimum allowed. It was nice having breakfast on the balcony delivered by room service watching the sunrise. But i think for a solo cruiser the ship was way to big for my liking
It cracks me up when I talk to people that have never cruised saying I'd be bored.

Been on Anthem, and Oasis, going on Oasis again in feb next year. I'm also looking into taking a Transatlantic cruise, from Europe to US. So thats why i popped in here, to see your video. Great presentation, and my favourite place is The Schooner Bar. So you would probably find me in there ;)
Wish RC would start doing adult only cruises and more focus on things for the 50+ crowd, which is the bulk of the cruisers, and less focus on attracting kids. May just switch cruise lines for next cruise.
An adults only cruise on Royal will never happen. They’ve always been a family cruise line

Thank you for showing this awesome vessel. I hope to go on this class in the next year or so. I've had a really hard time deciding exactly which ship to embark as I'm in a wheelchair and have special needs. Royal seems to have a really caring and helpful staff though so hopefully whichever one I decide on ends up being a great experience. Matt, I was wondering if you see non-alcoholic beer at many of the bars around this class? I've been sober 6.5 years but I still like the taste of beer, plus it's great to be able to toast people and just feel like I'm still part of the party.
Congrats on your sobriety! There’s one or two non alcoholic beers.
I have been on 4 RCCL ships from small to medium and the world’s largest plus Coco Cay. They are equipped and assist with special needs and wheelchairs at the pools. The crew are properly trained and it is second nature to them. You will have a blast no matter which ship you choose. I do tend to lean toward the larger ships because of how much more open space there is from one side of the ship to the other in regards to moving about in a wheelchair. I hope this helps.
