This was so helpful! This should have *way* more views and likes! It is visually stimulating. I like that you don't just state rules but also give some suggestions. The information comes a little fast at you, (I watched it at x75 speed to absorb the numbers) but it is clear, and easy to follow. Thank you for putting thought into this. Also, you said you were a short person who is 6 foot tall?! Well, damn. I am 5''1 so what am I???
@@TheSchoolOfSports Thank you for those kind words! I forgot to mention in my comment that the NBA Gameplay at the end really drove the point home. (sorry, I couldn't resist the lame pun.) SUPER WELL DONE! I'm a 66-year old female American who is welcoming 7 refugees from Afghanistan. Tonight is the Duke U vs NC-Chapel Hill game (huge, huge, HUGE here -- time stops for this game) -- and I thought we might as well have an "immersive" lesson in basketball -- so I've sent this over to them so they can have some clue before they watch the game. 😛 I am sorry to say this but the truth is 6ft is short for basketball and I have been told that, but that's only for basketball. In real life size of HEART matters the most not the height 😊 You got big and brave heart to comment about it, not everyone would come out and talk about it!!

This is very innocent question. I don't have good answer. May be sports is inspired to show the domination that's why? You want to demonstrate that you have the capability to get into the opponents zone and show your prowess! I don't want anyone to take this comment literally but when two countries are at war nobody throws misslies on their own country they throw it into opponents country so it can be something like that. Again I am not sure, this is innocent question and it is possible that we change the terminology where you have to put the ball in your basket and opponent would need to stop it. It's just the way things got started and we have been continuing it. Hope this helps
I think you forgot -how to start a game -the defense team can steal the ball off the offense team by; - a shot or off a player hands by swatting or yanking it off -intercepting a pass -rebound -if the ball went out of bounds(boundary) the last player's team who touched the ball will lose the ball and the other team will go to the offense. there is also an unofficial rule and must be upheld, that you must save the ball no matter from out of bounds regardless if it will end up to your opponent . you can see in televised games players diving to the crowd to save the ball.
