The real pause the video moment should have been Kf2. It is absolutely insane how Hikaru found it. Top engine recommendation and even GMs and commentators couldn't find it. Hikaru played this endgame with cold blooded precision. Felt like was watching Magnus play the endgame here.

    • @builderphill1361

The real brilliant move in this game was Hikaru's Kf2, it was the engine move, but neither Jan or Judit could find it because, honestly, who could?!? Most human players would try pushing the a pawn along with the c pawn, but neither of that works. To see that Kf2, is absurdly complicated and although I'm not a Naka fan, full props to him for finding that.

the real brilliancy is Kf2, a very tricky engine move commentators even missed. Putting black in zugzwang there when the natural ideas are probably a pawn push like a6 or a rook move makes it really hard to see. Everyone hyping up the kf2 move, but in fact when he got checked by the pawn on h4 it was a better move for him to already then play kf2 instead of attacking the rook, but luckily Radjabov blundered right back and played Rc1 instead of Rb1.
