Problem is black can play Ne4 and after white picks up the pawn on g7 black wins back the pawn on g2 by playing Rb2. If white tries to chase away the knight with f3. Hey , i wanna ask u something. In the game between Harry Belti and Beth Harmon. Benny Watts said to Beth : u shouldn't castle in ur game with beltik, Why ?
But at 5:10 why not just eliminate the big threat and just go Qe6? Force a trace of queens while also allowing your bishop to develop is much better than what was suggested. Then again I am no engine and I’m sure there are some ways of countering.
I must be missing something. At 3:45 he says Carlsen would have been better off playing Queen to B6, rather than D6. But doesn't playing Queen to B6 lose the knight on E5, nc3xe5? You can't capture back with the rook, because the rook would be hanging for the queen to capture. If you instead ignore the white knight and play qb6xb2, then white's knight can fork your rooks. The black queen has only one other safe square, D6, and the black bishop on C8 is pinned. You have to be concerned about ne5xf7 setting up checkmate with qh8. Again, I must be missing something, but I don't see how qb6 is better. It seems only to invite disaster.
