I must say, we need these reviews. Clearly, if yall don’t do it we won’t know. I regretfully sold my Bordeaux Jordan 1s and wifey replaced them for Father’s Day. Recently sold my Bred 4s, Bred 11a and kinda got see where she’s gonna replace em for my 40th.
I love that this channel is starting to cover more brands like Hoka, ON, Saucony, New Balance, and others. Feels like the quality we are getting from some of these brands has been better from companies like Nike, & it's benefitting them a lot that the sneaker culture is moving towards a comfort driven shoe & retro runner style. It's also nice that this feels like an moment in the sneaker culture that is pretty judgement free from shoes & brands being worn. I think the worst I've seen is people upset about wearing shoes like the Margiela Replica GATs, but cheaper & from different brands, when the reality is that its the same overall design.
When we moved from the city to the country, my wife got me a pair of Brooks Cascadia GTX 17’s because my runs went from concrete to trails with streams. Those things are money. It’s like putting off road tires on my feet. I love them.
As someone who has experience with running shoes, Hoka’s are elite in comfort. They used to really have a chokehold in terms of cushioning but other brands have finally caught up but seeing these with all the premium materials sold me. Gon pass by a Fleet Feet or Hoka store in the city and get a pair, I can easily rock these casually walking around NY
My wife bought me a pair of FootJoy Premieres for Christmas a few years ago and I still have and love them to death. She knows I have expensive taste and knocked it out of the park with that one!
I still have my Orange toe Question Lows that my wife got me. First shoe that she purchased me. While my tastes have changed from BBall shoes casually and not wearing them very often, they will remain in the closet. There's definitely some sentimental value there to me. My tastes have definitely shifted over to running and runners recently, and these fit that perfectly. Really clean shoe from Hoka.
For the QOTD: My wife has gift me many pairs through the years, the first one was before we live together, the Zoom Kobe Venomenon 3 in the Carroll colorway (kinda black Del Sols) and I still have them, wore them a lot for outdoor ball (once broken in they felt great and way more comfy that some nike signatures from these days) but sadly, they have sole separation now 😢
QOTD: I haven't received sneakers as a gift since like elementary school. I've been buying my own for about 35 years now. Hoka is great. Every pair I've owned has outperformed the competition at its price point with thoughtful design and usability. Nike left the door open for smaller brands when they voluntarily pulled their shoes off store shelves and I think the consumer benefits for it. I appreciate the diversity of your reviews and you checking out other brands because right now, that's where the innovation is. Nike has the legacy designs and the brand recognition, and sometimes it feels like that's all. Thanks for the review. I'll engage with anything Hoka, so I did. Catch you next time!
My wife bought me a pair of Baseballism x Nike Alpha Huarache Flag Man Turf 2 on our first Christmas together. I was blown away, because they were super limited to 300 pairs, and I remember showing her as an aside, like these are cool because they're made with real glove leather. And of course I still have them, although they don't fit great, so I don't wear them all that much.
For my 40th my wife got me a pair of custom AJ 1s with Manchester United graphics, even cooler was that she got my friend who is one of the best in the game to do them. So yeah, I definitely still have them and always will.
Hoka are my go to running shoes for 5 years now and I love them I usually buy the Cliftons. To answer the question , my wife bought me the And1 Tai Chi mid back in the days I still have them stored in a shelf
Outtakes are the best! Keep that ish coming! And yes, my wife has bought me shoes over the years and I still have them. She figured out that the Jordan XI Holiday releases were always an easy way to go to get me a present.
True-to-size in running sneakers and casual ones (like Jordans, Dunks) are different mostly. If you're a US 10 in AJ1's, Dunks with Hoka you'll be a US 9.5. Still have my first Hoka Elevon. For many years now I always buy discounted Hoka Bondi and use them at work, very reliable and comfortable.
While these are not my deal, glad other brands are getting their shine. Looking forward to the socks from yous guys, right now my favorite socks are a pair of Lassos I got with my Move insoles.
My girlfriend bought me my first pair of Nike sneakers last year. She told me she'd get me any one I'd like and I didn't know anything about footwear back then. I was really attracted to the Photon Dust/Gum Nike Air Dunk Jumbo at the time, and I watched your review on it (Can't unsee Donkey's teeth now 💀). It was also the first time I discovered your channel! Those two memories are connected. I still have the pair of course and I intend to keep and use them for as long as possible (I don't know how long they'll last even when I'm taking fairly good care of them). And I still watch your channel since then. Thank you for being my guides in entering the world of sneakers!
Hoka, On, and adidas are on the way up while Jordan is tanking. The diversity of options in the market is better for all of us. Glad there's at least one sneaker channel that will cover everything.
I got my ex at least 5 or 6 pairs of shoes over the years. One was customs. She abruptly left me months ago and I still hope things are going well wherever she is. She has great kicks there at least.
Every Hoka I've tried on has felt a bit clunky and the foam didn't wow me, but I'll keep trying them on when I see them at Rack or Ross and see if I've just been trying on the wrong models lol
She's never bought me a pair. Well, she did pay for it, but I had to fit test them before owning it. Never bought as a surprise gift because I always prioritise fit and comfort.
Definitely poked my interest here… I like the no show socks reviews better though, especially on this colorway, it made it tougher to see the ankle line IMO 🤷🏻♂️😉
For question of the day: Among the NBA players who have signature shoe deals, whose play style benefited the most from his own shoe? Which player makes the most out of their own signature shoe, performance-wise? Kinda wonder about this since there are some shoes that aren’t really that good but the players using them are still beasts on-court.
My wife has given me a couple of pairs as gifts. The Puma x Gremlins from last year and the Adidas x Human Made Tokio. She was buying me the Tmac 3.5 Olympics Retromod but that was before they got cancelled due to the contract dispute. 😭
Gotta say mad respect for bringing different brands and shoes to the channel. Love it! But these might be the ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen 😂😂 Hoka already look terrible and they somehow made them worse lol But you are right. Mad comfortable great for walking and running!
I turned my wife into a lowkey sneakerhead 😂 I collect the retro 90's kicks. She bought me the Grant Hill 2s n I keep em icy for when I wanna step out in em
The first pair of sneakers my partner bought me were the Adidas forum x shoe palace "fabulous forum" sneakers. I love them and yes u understand they're only 2 years old, but they're very nice, and very Lakers themed. 😂
I’m a big Kobe fan… we actually share the same Bday (shameless plug) anyway. Wifey surprised me with a pair of the Italian camos… it was the only one I didn’t get from the set that dropped, Venice beach, Phillies and now I have the camos 😊
Question of the day: If you were to re-draft 1992 Dream Team, Where would each player end up in today’s NBA team with the condition that each player don’t end up in their original teams (ie Malone isn’t in Utah, Magic not with Lakers, etc.)
HOKA has lots of Leather versions of models, actual “Leather Models & lines”, The Kaha & Anacapa lines, the Bondi “L” & “Suede” plus Bondi “SR” with water resistant leather for professional Use, you should also check out Hoka Tor Summit (Half Runner, half Hiking boot). All great choices.
To answer the question of the day, NO. No one has ever bought me sneakers, however I have bought them sneakers. Also……I can definitely relate to your frustrations Chris. Sometimes the most random word that I’ve said many times over would choose to be the one that gives me fits because for whatever reason, I can’t pronounce it correctly that day, or I’d read a sentence one way and it’s written differently on the page. 😅
I’m not sure if I just missed it in the review, but do they run true to size? Great review, as always!! Never knew a “needed” a casual pair of Hokas until now.
I bought a pair and upon trying it on, I feel this shoe runs a little short and narrow in the toe box. Going half-size up may be recommend if you don’t like a snug fit.
An ex from 19 years ago bought my the all white LeBron 1 low's. Still got them. I hated Lebron then and still do, but will admit they they were saucy a** shoes and still are.
My Girlfriend bought me a 2 pairs of brandblack future legends and 1 pair of JA 1's, the future legends are run through the ground lool but 1 is still wearable but need a reglue.
The first gift my (now) wife got me was a pair of white & baby blue Tmac 1 slip on's with the zipper. Hella sexy. I don't have them anymore unfortunately. But I still have her 😉
I must say, we need these reviews. Clearly, if yall don’t do it we won’t know. I regretfully sold my Bordeaux Jordan 1s and wifey replaced them for Father’s Day. Recently sold my Bred 4s, Bred 11a and kinda got see where she’s gonna replace em for my 40th.

Ross finds have been wild lately! Even for skate shoes saw some 'es quatros and etnies vulks
My wife bought me a pair of Baseballism x Nike Alpha Huarache Flag Man Turf 2 on our first Christmas together. I love videos like this because they remind me there are many brands out here that will still make good sneakers with great materials.
For my 40th my wife got me a pair of custom AJ 1s with Manchester United graphics, even cooler was that she got my friend who is one of the best in the game to do them. So yeah, I definitely still have them and always will.
“Escapé” 😂 all these years later I still think that when I see the word escape
Hoka are my go to running shoes for 5 years now and I love them I usually buy the Cliftons. To answer the question , my wife bought me the And1 Tai Chi mid back in the days I still have them stored in a shelf
Outtakes are the best! Keep that ish coming! And yes, my wife has bought me shoes over the years and I still have them. She figured out that the Jordan XI Holiday releases were always an easy way to go to get me a present.
My wife bought me the Curry 6 Oakland's, and yes I still have them

My wife got me a pair of Fire Red Jordan 3's for Christmas a few years ago, and yes. I still have them.
Hmmm, didn't expect a review on the Elevon X. 👍
that hoodie is fantastic
I really enjoyed this video. I think I’m gonna get these. Thank you guys.
While these are not my deal, glad other brands are getting their shine. Looking forward to the socks from yous guys, right now my favorite socks are a pair of Lassos I got with my Move insoles.

the ending 😂😂 “f me in the a.”
My girl bought me custom Kyrie 1's. She went little crazy with the colors, neon green with like maroon hits, webbing. Still have em!
I enjoy these type of reviews and hokas aren't cheap but quality at that pricepoint is not bad considering the current market.
Agree with you on the Hoka cushioning typically being super thick but not that comfortable
Hoka, On, and adidas are on the way up while Jordan is tanking. The diversity of options in the market is better for all of us. Glad there's at least one sneaker channel that will cover everything.
bruh i love these! The black ones are fire!
When I see people wearing Hoka's I ask them how they are and I get "very cushy". It's good to actually get a real review on the Hoka.
Regarding the wide question - yes, Hoka does offer wide shoes, not all their shoes have the option but a lot of them do.
Project Clifton’s! Pretty underrated shoe that you can actually use as a recovery/easy shoe since it’s pretty much the Clifton 8 with different upper
Already wore my “since” tee. Nice the power rangers 1
I got my ex at least 5 or 6 pairs of shoes over the years. One was customs. She abruptly left me months ago and I still hope things are going well wherever she is. She has great kicks there at least.
I am a PG fan and was so happy when my wife gave me a PG2. I'm still using it till now and have a sentimental value.
Every Hoka I've tried on has felt a bit clunky and the foam didn't wow me, but I'll keep trying them on when I see them at Rack or Ross and see if I've just been trying on the wrong models lol
That sure looks clean AF!
She's never bought me a pair. Well, she did pay for it, but I had to fit test them before owning it. Never bought as a surprise gift because I always prioritise fit and comfort.
They look super comfy and have awesome materials. Wish Jordans had the same quality
Hoka has wide options.
Awesome review as always! 👌🏽
Definitely poked my interest here…

this look pretty cool and based on the clliftons 9 i'm sure they're mad comfy
My girlfriend got me a pair of custom Spiderman AF1 for our first Christmas together. I still have them :)
The other shoes retailed for $250! I got mine at Ross also!
My wife has given me a couple of pairs as gifts. The Puma x Gremlins from last year and the Adidas x Human Made Tokio.
She was buying me the Tmac 3.5 Olympics Retromod but that was before they got cancelled due to the contract dispute. 😭
My girlfriend back then, my wife now, bought me drose 7 primeknit and i still have it. 😊
Great Review
Gotta say mad respect for bringing different brands and shoes to the channel. Love it!

Those r really nice u definitely get ur money's worth unlike other brands
The first pair of sneakers my partner bought me were the Adidas forum x shoe palace "fabulous forum" sneakers. I love them and yes u understand they're only 2 years old, but they're very nice, and very Lakers themed. 😂
I’m a big Kobe fan… we actually share the same Bday (shameless plug) anyway. Wifey surprised me with a pair of the Italian camos… it was the only one I didn’t get from the set that dropped, Venice beach, Phillies and now I have the camos 😊
I have a pair of Clifton’s and they’re so comfortable
how i wish i still have those pairs, thinking back makes me sad. those are dope, stay safe everyone 🎉
I love the mafate evo speed series frm Hoka... Plush cushion..prefer it over the Challenger series.
need more reebok question videos, do a question prototype video
My mates who work in healthcare swear by Hokas cos they're on their feet for long stretches 👍
Definitely need the socks
Those actually look really nice!! I would definently cop if i can find them in my size. Also what is the neon hoka called?
Hope that the "Big" brands are taking notes.

And a lot of the most popular models/silhouettes have Wide Lines!

I’m not sure if I just missed it in the review, but do they run true to size?
Great review, as always!! Never knew a “needed” a casual pair of Hokas until now.
I own the globe appleyard and they are obliterated, also had a pair of Kustoms both dope skating shoes although I never was a skater 👊🏿
Hope u review the green/goldish flightposites retros bro
This shoe definitely seems like a direct attempt at competition with New Balance’s more lifestyle aimed runners
More Hoka reviews!!!
My wife buys me a pair of kicks on my birthday and anniversary
Last year I got SB 4s and this year it was the medium olive Travis low
Lucky me 😎😂😂
Please review asics and brooks thanks 🙂
I bought a pair and upon trying it on, I feel this shoe runs a little short and narrow in the toe box. Going half-size up may be recommend if you don’t like a snug fit.
On future videos, can we get a view of the insole, but for both sides?, to see the material used where you actually put your feet on, please 🙏
will the weartesters socks be avail here in the philippines?
An ex from 19 years ago bought my the all white LeBron 1 low's. Still got them. I hated Lebron then and still do, but will admit they they were saucy a** shoes and still are.
They look good 👍
yeah, the Ross prices are so inconsistent, and sometimes I just don't get it.
Great shoe!
In Taiwan, we don’t gift our close friends and family shoes! Bad luck I suppose 😂
My Girlfriend bought me a 2 pairs of brandblack future legends and 1 pair of JA 1's, the future legends are run through the ground lool but 1 is still wearable but need a reglue.
Wow, 18k views after a day. The people have spoken!
A girl in high school who liked me bought me a pair of OG white and red 13’s, if that counts?
Socks launching worldwide or just USA? 😅
I still have the OG Doc Martens that my ex-wife bought me 31 years ago.
can you do a review on adidas subzone?
Try the clifton 9 gortex
I want hokas but the more minimal… dont like those that are too bulky
The first gift my (now) wife got me was a pair of white & baby blue Tmac 1 slip on's with the zipper. Hella sexy. I don't have them anymore unfortunately. But I still have her 😉
Well I bought my invincible runs for £199.95 they’re Nike id though but something tells me these are better 😫
Very nice 😊
I like this one
Dang those are cool.
Very cool
I’m just not a fan of that color way, might have to check out others
My gf I dated in 2001-2002
She bought me Jordan 17 with the case
Don’t have the shoes nor the box
Air monarch 4 vibe)
Veja
Lakai
Cariuma
Clearweather Brand
Hoka offers a number of models in Wide fit.... but not these.😔
Damn $80
I find them at most $60 or less at Ross
