Ozark didn’t even have to provide a trailer if we’re being honest. This series delivers every season. The cast is remarkable and storylines are consistently great. There’s no way I would miss this season. Side note, Jonah is a whole entire ass man.
Ozark is one of the best shows Netflix has made. It's going to be sad to see it go, but I would rather it end on a high note than to see drag for 8 seasons.

IMHO, Ozark is about Ruth. It is not about the rest of the cast, Ruth IS Ozark. Everything in the entire show comes to a point with Ruth at the center. This is a show about Ruth and how she overcomes. If they remove Ruth - the show no longer has a viable protagonist.
Jason Bateman deserves to win an Emmy for his role in Ozark he is so great or golden globe but he deserves some kind of award !!!!!! I wouldn’t be surprised if they knew how many seasons there would be back when they started filming S1. The progression of the story and developments of characters are too fluid and natural between seasons for the length to have not been planned

People keep comparing this series to Breaking Bad. I'm sorry to that fanbase, but it eclipsed it long ago. It just has to stick the landing. This is playing with chess boards just as broad as Breaking Bad was towards the end. Laura Liney as Wendy gave a performance in Season 3, that I think exceeds anything we ever got from Anna Gunn as Skyler. Not to hate on anyone, but that was some raw stuff. Jason Bateman is absolutely having his Walter White moment now. Also, coming from a mostly comedy-focused background. It's missing that "say my name" grit, but that's because this is a series that would rather put it's lead in a suit next to the most powerful man in the Mexican Cartel. It's telling a different story. Marty is a more complex character than Walt was. And...now I must hide from the coming pitchforks.

I introduced my uncle to Ozark when he came to visit for a while... He was instantly hooked. He stayed inside and binged it until season three was over. He came outside and I could see a bit of concern on his face when asked me if something was wrong with my internet or Netflix because he couldn't get the next season to play. His face went from concerned to all out panic when I explained to him that he had to wait for the next season like the rest of us hahaha. "When will it be out?" "Do you think they're filming it already?" I really freaked him out when I mentioned that it may not have a season four because at that time there were talks of canceling it. The reaction, though, was priceless... I could equate it to taking drugs away from a junkie and destroying them before their eyes...

I've started rewatching this from scratch cause my wife didn't watch it before so going straight back to Season 4 with fresh memory going to be great, the only problem is that we just finished season 2 and will be watching season 3 and going through that will wreck me AGAIN... Wendy: 'You're grounded! Marty: 'Can you dial that down..' Wendy: 'Oh, you don't think attempted murder is cause for grounding! One of the funniest lines in this show, reminds you of the comedic element that is undercurrent in this despite it's dark tone.
My favourite thing about these characters is that they are somewhat aware of how crazy it is. Usually in movies the characters somehow act like they are fit for the role required of them, but in this show you can see the characters subtly aware that it is movie-like, and subtly assume the role the way it would happen in real life
It's a setup for a spinoff series of Ozark. It takes place 25 years later and Jonah has become the new Marty essentially taking his place. Only he's the smarter more badass version of him. Notice how the camera pans on Jonah when Navarro said that line. The camera does it again when he says "never forget that." 💎 YOU WELCOME 😉

I'm a Netflix Junkie. I've seen just about every movie there is on Netflix. This is by far the best series I've ever seen on Netflix. The acting is superb and the characters are played to the nines. It's very very very hard to pick a favorite character or actor. Can't wait for Friday.
Yes!!! This show is meaningful to me because I started watching it at the worst time in my life, but here I am almost 5 years later and in such a better place. I watched the first season right when it came out because I was struggling with my addiction, I was dope sick, and hopeless. It helped me forget about shit for a while and a few months after that first season came out I went and got help again and this time I got it and my life has only improved every day. Obviously, this show had nothing to do with it but it will always remind me of the time that I was laying in bed at my mom's house because I had lost my home, hopeless, no money, thinking I might lose my daughter, and everything was down the tubes. But I got my shit together and here I am years later healthier, I'm there for my daughter, and I no longer have to wake up in the morning worrying about what I'm going to have to do to get through the day just to get by and not feel sick. So I'll never forget that first season. 👍

Every second in this masterpiece is nail biting. The bag of tricks is really powerful. The acting, the sets, the cliffhanging. This series is what we are starving for.
Ozark is one of those shows that explain themselves simply yet effective. There aren’t any crazy loophole plot lines, and the motivations are both down right ridiculous yet believing. For example, The pastor lost his wife but kept the baby. He preached as if he was in war with god himself after that and it actually showed he was yo a certain extent. The more he lost, the more desperate he became. He was a really tragic character because he literally became his own destructive force from start to finish the more knowledge he gained about the show. He didn’t heed any warnings or make any out of the box thinking. He simply did what the average person would do. The Hancock guy makes the show but Ruth is the most compelling character. And for the Byrds to own a mortuary to do whatever they felt with the bodies, while it was setup in a way that they were trying to buy up business, it made you realize that the whole time they have been building assets.
Ever notice how original Netflix movies are hot garbage.... But their TV shows... There's just not enough words to describe how absolutely amazing they are... And this one's right at the top of the heap

It’s ending as intended by the creators, that’s always the best you can hope for compared to running a show into the ground by keeping it going too long.
I don't think enough people talk about how the soundtrack of this show just gives it a level of tension that I don't think any other show has ever been able to achieve. It's so good.

It's very common for shows to start decreasing in value around season 3-4, however...I believe in this show and it's writers. I would say two more seasons and then end it. Nothing gold can stay. But Enjoying the ride in the meantime. it's phenomenal.

This show is phenomenal. It needs more recognition. Batemen plays the role of Marty perfectly. And the girl playing Ruth, forget her name, is spectacular. One of the best written shows ever. Sad to see it ending but going out on a high note is a good thing. Not a fan of the hollywood trend of splitting seasons in 2 though.
I started this show the day it aired on Netflix. And finishing season 1 I knew this show had massive potential. It's rare you get a show like this. A two part season 4 ending is the right choice for this heavy hitter!

As sad as I am to see the show end, I am so happy they aren't just making up random bs to extend the show for no reason. I hope this season is a masterpiece.
I for one am actually sad, I don't feel like it would have been random BS. There is a lot to explore in the legal challenge to this, we could go to court, we could have FBI raids, but we could actually have the government lose in the end, and then play out how other cartels seek this strategy and then bring the war into the USA, prompting the military to intervene. This show has broadened it's scope so wide since we started, it could go multi-national. Have Marty take one kid to Mexico, and give Wendy the other, and start telling a more disjointed story that can go back and forth like the movie Traffic. There is sooo much potential for where they go from here. What's clear, is they have a very solid production crew, and their writing team has been firing on all cylinders. That's typically when you press in and renew for more seasons, because it's a sure-er bet than starting fresh.
Shows like Ozark is why Netflix is the undisputed KING of streaming. They have quality and quantity!As for this show, it's easily the top 3 shows created by Netflix.

I've watched many shows but no show has had my attention from beginning to end like Ozark. I had an old co-worker suggest it , I put it aside thinking it was some corny show. Clicked it the first episode alone had me curious. The storyline is just phenomenal. Character development is amazing, the realness of certain situations. Can't wait.

I literally play the trailer at least 3 times a week to get my jones of excitement for the coming! OMG!! There has never been such authentic acting , character development, storyline and gripping edge, hold your pillow of what is coming next series then this MASTERPIECE!! I am counting down the days and may take that week off for the opening night on 1/21/2022 !!! LOLOLOL ! I so can not wait!!

One of the funniest lines in this show, reminds you of the comedic element that is undercurrent in this despite it's dark tone.
My favourite thing about these characters is that they are somewhat aware of how crazy it is. Usually in movies the characters somehow act like they are fit for the role required of them, but in this show you can see the characters subtly aware that it is movie-like, and subtly assume the role the way it would happen in real life
Easily the best show on Netflix right now.

It's a setup for a spinoff series of Ozark. It takes place 25 years later and Jonah has become the new Marty essentially taking his place. Only he's the smarter more badass version of him. Notice how the camera pans on Jonah when Navarro said that line. The camera does it again when he says "never forget that." 💎 YOU WELCOME 😉

I'm a Netflix Junkie. I've seen just about every movie there is on Netflix. This is by far the best series I've ever seen on Netflix. The acting is superb and the characters are played to the nines. It's very very very hard to pick a favorite character or actor. Can't wait for Friday.

Yes!!! This show is meaningful to me because I started watching it at the worst time in my life, but here I am almost 5 years later and in such a better place. I watched the first season right when it came out because I was struggling with my addiction, I was dope sick, and hopeless. It helped me forget about shit for a while and a few months after that first season came out I went and got help again and this time I got it and my life has only improved every day. Obviously, this show had nothing to do with it but it will always remind me of the time that I was laying in bed at my mom's house because I had lost my home, hopeless, no money, thinking I might lose my daughter, and everything was down the tubes. But I got my shit together and here I am years later healthier, I'm there for my daughter, and I no longer have to wake up in the morning worrying about what I'm going to have to do to get through the day just to get by and not feel sick. So I'll never forget that first season. 👍

Every second in this masterpiece is nail biting. The bag of tricks is really powerful. The acting, the sets, the cliffhanging. This series is what we are starving for.
Ozark is one of those shows that explain themselves simply yet effective.
There aren’t any crazy loophole plot lines, and the motivations are both down right ridiculous yet believing. For example, The pastor lost his wife but kept the baby. He preached as if he was in war with god himself after that and it actually showed he was yo a certain extent. The more he lost, the more desperate he became. He was a really tragic character because he literally became his own destructive force from start to finish the more knowledge he gained about the show. He didn’t heed any warnings or make any out of the box thinking. He simply did what the average person would do. The Hancock guy makes the show but Ruth is the most compelling character.
And for the Byrds to own a mortuary to do whatever they felt with the bodies, while it was setup in a way that they were trying to buy up business, it made you realize that the whole time they have been building assets.
This family has come a long, long way since season one! Can't wait to see how this gets wrapped up. Bodies are definitely going to drop.
Ever notice how original Netflix movies are hot garbage.... But their TV shows... There's just not enough words to describe how absolutely amazing they are... And this one's right at the top of the heap

It’s ending as intended by the creators, that’s always the best you can hope for compared to running a show into the ground by keeping it going too long.

This show has potential to become legend. I’ve never been more impressed with a series. It hasn’t faltered once since it started. Ozark just has to stick the landing with these final two parts. And I believe they can do it.

It's very common for shows to start decreasing in value around season 3-4, however...I believe in this show and it's writers. I would say two more seasons and then end it. Nothing gold can stay. But Enjoying the ride in the meantime. it's phenomenal.

This show is phenomenal. It needs more recognition. Batemen plays the role of Marty perfectly. And the girl playing Ruth, forget her name, is spectacular. One of the best written shows ever. Sad to see it ending but going out on a high note is a good thing. Not a fan of the hollywood trend of splitting seasons in 2 though.
Julia Garner and she was just casted in Apartment 7A which is supposed to be a really good thriller

I started this show the day it aired on Netflix. And finishing season 1 I knew this show had massive potential. It's rare you get a show like this. A two part season 4 ending is the right choice for this heavy hitter!
Anytime a new season comes up I start watching the show from the beginning that's how much I love this show :)

No crazy time jumps in this final season and Ozark has solidified itself as one of the top tv shows of all time. Top 20 imo.

As sad as I am to see the show end, I am so happy they aren't just making up random bs to extend the show for no reason. I hope this season is a masterpiece.
I for one am actually sad, I don't feel like it would have been random BS. There is a lot to explore in the legal challenge to this, we could go to court, we could have FBI raids, but we could actually have the government lose in the end, and then play out how other cartels seek this strategy and then bring the war into the USA, prompting the military to intervene. This show has broadened it's scope so wide since we started, it could go multi-national. Have Marty take one kid to Mexico, and give Wendy the other, and start telling a more disjointed story that can go back and forth like the movie Traffic. There is sooo much potential for where they go from here. What's clear, is they have a very solid production crew, and their writing team has been firing on all cylinders. That's typically when you press in and renew for more seasons, because it's a sure-er bet than starting fresh.
Seriously one of the best shows on Netflix. Finally season 4!!!

The character development is huge. Very excited, feels like I’ve been waiting forever.
I've watched many shows but no show has had my attention from beginning to end like Ozark. I had an old co-worker suggest it , I put it aside thinking it was some corny show. Clicked it the first episode alone had me curious. The storyline is just phenomenal. Character development is amazing, the realness of certain situations. Can't wait.
