Has anyone else appreciate that Marnie and Piers' themes are practically polar opposites, despite coming from similar roots? Marnie's sounds heroic, while Piers' sounds villainous.
That's because they are both based off different types of metal marine was supposed to represent punkish rock and power metal whereas Piers represents heavy metal. Both come from the same place but have completely different sounds.
@@Unknown-gf1ci if you liked any pokèmon games starting from gen 5,it is basically those It's just a Pokémon game with a big af area and big af Pokémon The characters are all very good,but they don't give some of them their time to shine,Imo The story goes from 0 to 100 REAL quick,but it's actually very good if you don't consider how quickly it changes from happy to tragic The online is horrible,terrible,it fucking sucks and they probably spent five nanoseconds coding it Very bad,but nonetheless it still works so in the end it could have been worse In the end,the game is actually very good,and WAY better than what we've got with 7th gen The graphics are much better compared to the other games,but of course don't expect Mario Odissey/Breath of the Wild levels of shading,we are still talking about gamefreak here,I am surprised that they didn't make the graphics garbage like in LGPE just so they could cut some corners honestly So yeah If you actually like Pokémon, you're gonna like this game,trust me If you don't like "Pokèmon",but just battling online and doing nothing else Ehhh Pass Use Showdown for that

So saying that nothing would have changed is wrong. However, I do agree that she should have had some more screentime, maybe fight together with us once or twice.
Marnie should've gotten more screentime. They really dropped the ball on how many times you interact with her compared to the insufferable Hop. Hell, even Sonia got more development and screentime than Marnie, and she isn't even a trainer. SPOILER ALERT, EXIT THIS COMMENT AT ONCE FROM HERE ON IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED SWORD OR SHIELD!: I absolutely love Bede's development throughout the main story, what with him taking over as a worthy successor to one of the main gyms after basically being disowned by the most powerful man in the region. Sonia becomes her grandmother's successor as the newest Professor in the Galar region, and even Hop realizes what his dreams really entitle, and discovering his real dream in being a savior to Pokemon everywhere... even if he became Sonia's assistant, and we can't rematch him again outside of the Championship Tournament (and yet, for some reason, still only has 5 Pokemon on him?). Marnie... takes over Pier's spot as the newest Gym Leader, but we didn't really see any purpose behind her becoming it outside of a few dialogue lines hinting to it. Personally, I feel we should've been challenged by her sometime after the 4th Gym, so we can see her develop into the powerful trainer she eventually becomes.

This IS by far the best cover of Marnie's theme in this genre I've heard! The background crowd cheers and the Original Flair you thrown in, is what makes this the best one in my charts! IF!...it appeases the mass, I would love to see more heavier renditions of this particular BGM from a decent pokemon game, and with added vocals! THAT would be a sight to behold!
