This tutorial is absolutely amazing. I could watch your videos all day long because the editing is just amazing! Keep up the great work, your gonna go far.
agree ! and actually the original is better (not amazing though) than the photoshop. The first video was better but you give advice that you can't apply ^^
Great tutorial. How have you worked on your perfectionism to make sure you work quickly and well? Such a great skill really to be like that. I gotta play around with Photoshop some day, it looks like such an awesome program. Loved your overall edit, turned out well and the tutorial clear and easy to understand.
Thank you! Hmm interesting question, I don't actually think I've conciously worked on that aspect, it's more due to work experience where I had tight deadlines and had to work fast without compromising much on quality. Yes Photoshop is one of the best pieces of software ever created, I'm sure. Thanks again ;)
Thank you friend :D It was actually just a regular piece of paper, but with a bit of tweaking I keyed it out as though it was green, since it was the only piece of white texture in the frame.
Can I use a 50mm, f/1.8 lens, to shoot a 60mm lensball? or using 18-55mm lens will be better? And also which size of lensball is used in this video? Thank you.
Hiya, sorry bit late in getting back to ya! :D Oh my you're right that part is quite confusing! I duplicated the existing sky and turn it 180deg, minimize it to fit inside the lensball, and apply the same layer mask as I did on the lensball layer. Then just correct the part of the mask that meets the horizon, but you don't have to be very accurate as that detail is so tiny.
Just finished watching the video, and I’m actually speechless of the outcome. I knew people were able to edit photos, but never to that degree. Really appreciated this video and now want to get started with the software! Thank you!
Photoshop and computer generated graphics are an art of their own. Just like photography wasn't considered art in the days it was invented, now photographers forget that and look down on digital artists. A generational cycle I guess.
Well.... I didn't look at it in that perspective. I am sorry for my earlier comment (which I am going to edit). Although I am not in favour of using PS to recreate images, I have to admit that the photoshop skills you demonstrated are amazing 👍🏻
I missed the saving part. I think you went a little too quickly through that. I am looking to save it as a jpeg. I am willing to either crop here for instagram or do it in lightroom.
hi can anyone help please I'm getting a glare from the lens ball can I use a len's filter to stop it as I'm having lots of fun with it but it's spoiling it. I'm new to this. Thank you
The one thing that I think I am going to slow down and learn, Is something that has always confused me a little bit in all the years I've used photoshop, And that's masking. I knew there had to be an easier way to stick a sunset or a different sky in the background without manually eracing all the little things in the front or just making The horizon flat.
Well, that's just a kind of photo manipulation some people like to perform on that work. I rarely replace the sky, but sometimes I like to play around. Of course whether it remains "photography" or becomes a graphic form of art is up for debate :D
Hahaha sorry about that, my headphones are not the best quality, I realized on quite a few of my older videos which weren't checked on regular speakers that there is the same proble,

Thank you for sharing, this is amazing the way you made the tutorial looks so easy.
Thank you :D I guess after enough practice it does become that way, so I hope I help others take a step in that direction :D
This is amazing, such a great edit. Really cool.
Thanks so much! ^_^
dope! that pic in the beginning was a green screen paper right? new subscriber 277
Thank you friend :D It was actually just a regular piece of paper, but with a bit of tweaking I keyed it out as though it was green, since it was the only piece of white texture in the frame.
This is prefect. Mines just came in today. But I’m getting there. But what apps to use like yours
Adobe Photoshop is by far the most advanced and powerful software for individual photo manipulation.
Ilia Alexanderson thank you.
Thanks for the tutorial gonna have a go. Xx
Very welcome! Best of luck to you :D

You can use any lens to shoot any ball, it will just be a matter of how far you walk away from it and how it will look. Mine is 80mm i believe
Thank you Sir. Actually I have 60mm lensball and I am worried if I will have problem focusing using a 50mm prime lens.
Depends how close you are. Most 50mm can't focus closer than 1 or 2 feet.
@@Vanlifia Yes that's true. Fine then. Thank you.
very detailed tutorial great job, very useful
Thanks so much ;)
Hey Ilia, great tutorial thank you! I was wondering how you added the sky to the lens ball at 6:58? not sure how to do that! many thanks

Yes indeed some people make wonders, believe me, compared to some editors I know, I'm a noobie :D Glad you enjoyed!
Just curiosity what photo editing program do you use?
Usually a combination of Lightroom and Photoshop
Thank you I'm trying to figure out how much a month is says e10
This is terrific !! 😲
Why thank you :D
Althought the final output is made mostly out of photoshop skills, the result is breathtaking.

You are my hero, nicely done, get to the point. I've learnt a lot.
Thanks friend, means a lot that my videos are useful to somebody :)
that transition from the vid to you WoW
LMAO :D
Amazing video, I'd of flipped the Image in the ball so it was the right way up
Yeah that's an option I see a lot of people do
I would've*
I missed the saving part. I think you went a little too quickly through that. I am looking to save it as a jpeg. I am willing to either crop here for instagram or do it in lightroom.
Hey sorry about that. I usually crop in LR and save to Jpeg, and then retouch and downsize in photoshop :)
Heyy can u please say what's the song behind that introo??please
I believe it's called Fresh Washed Watermelons from Soundstripe
hi can anyone help please I'm getting a glare from the lens ball can I use a len's filter to stop it as I'm having lots of fun with it but it's spoiling it. I'm new to this. Thank you
Try a polarizer filter :)
@@Vanlifia ok thanks very mutch

That none edit by the pole is killing me
Hahahahaha :D
You shake your cam way too much while walking or it's just the way it is idk lol. Nice tutorial overall though
Yeah good point haha gotta figrue out a way to have it more stable, or if nothing else more static shots and less moving ones :D
Wow this is amazing, I am excited to start trying to edit my photos more.
You should! Eager to see your results. If I can help you in any way, ask away!
This is not real Lensball Photography. Downloaded fake sky and fake sun :( Very disappointed :(
Well, that's just a kind of photo manipulation some people like to perform on that work. I rarely replace the sky, but sometimes I like to play around. Of course whether it remains "photography" or becomes a graphic form of art is up for debate :D
That dude jumped
Hahahaha
Holy shit learn to adjust your audio levels, the music near blew my ears off - I was deaf for the rest of your video
Hahaha sorry about that, my headphones are not the best quality, I realized on quite a few of my older videos which weren't checked on regular speakers that there is the same proble,
The sky just didnt fit with the rest of the picture. A more blue sky would have fit better.
Ya perhaps
Help me out
Yes sir?
Invest in a gimble.
Definitely need to, though I just dished out on a Full Frame
