Love the videos! We run Burris down here in PA. SS-11’s at Snydersville and 33’s at Shellhammers. I’ve also heard other people say not to internal prep the Burris but I was thinking about trying it on an older set just to see what happens.
It can’t hurt. I’ve done it before but a long time ago and can’t remember the results. My local track really doesn’t need it in my opinion. Thanks for the comment
When you outside prep a tire, run it and all that. Then surface it, can you apply a different outside prep? Or will the original prep always be in the tire. Mainly talking about trac tac products.
LF 5.0. LR 6.0 RF & RR 8.00 Staggers I run usually 1.5” in the front and 1” rear. Ideally your right rear and right front will measure 34” in circumference making your LF 32.5” and LR 33”
There are number of preps or products to wipe on them for off season storage. Easiest may be WD40 and wipe them down decently or a less aggressive prep. Storage in a climate controlled seems to be the best but I do store mine out in the cold. Some people like to wrap tires in plastic wrap (cellophane).
Awesome video man. Really appreciate the insight.
Thank you for watching. I appreciate it.

We've never internal prepped for shelly's. However some of the long time racers there swear by it.
Good information.
Thank you
Can you explain when to use a tire with a lot of oil verses a tire with less oils for track condition
In my opinion a oily or heavier prepped tire would be good for soft tracks and a dryer hard tire better for hard and dusty.
Great videos keep sending🏁🏁🏁🏁
Can Do! Thank Yoh

Absolutely. Track Tac preps work very well together and a outside wipe is only gonna penetrate so far.
I need help with tire size. I have to run Burris slicks but when I look tires up I get confused.

Did u come to the indoor kart races at Syracuse fair grounds this past weekend 12/3 & 12\4 ??
No I was lazy and didn’t drive up. 4hrs total up and back. Had family stuff to do so I don’t wanna pack the day with driving. Lol.
Do you have any suggestings for Reaper Tires specifically?
I have not run them yet so unfortunately no. Sorry.
What's the best way to protect your tires with a off-season and are they still good enough to use after they've been sitting for a couple months

Wd40 is the best I’ve ever found. Use them next season for damp-wet tracks
Just 1 coat of wd40? And should they be wrapped after applying wd40?
@@waynewolfe6629 I’d do probably two. I’ve never wrapped tires, but I know people who swear by it.
Any indoor karting tire tips?
Track tack use to have a specific prep for indoor coke syrup. I’m out of the loop on what preps work of don’t work indoor dirt.
Why dont u internal prep Burris tires ????
I may try it again. Didn’t have a whole lot of success with it before.
What speed should a rotisserie turn?
Good question. Should be fairly slow. When I built my bbq rotisserie I just went with whatever speed that was. Works well.
Hey Ben 👊
