@@kart6t3_ben thanks! We are going to try mini gears on our jr2 clone this year. Have you heard anything on those? I hear it gives better acceleration.
Without prep yes, heat cycles and time will cause a tire to harden. But when I use Vega yellows for instance the heat cycle brings down the duro faster (especially on track).
Can you do a video about cleaning more on like maintenance like bearing and stuff just starting both my boys out in karts and I’ve never done this. Looking at the wheel bearing’s I can’t tell if the black part just comes off or not don’t want to mess up a good bearing
I can but I’ll tell you now. They can come off BUT sometimes they don’t stay when u slip them back on. Your looking for removable “dust” shields to replace them. Somewhere like JC specialty or TS racing may have them. I really like Tri Flow as a bearing lubricant.
Mounting and dismounting tires
I have some videos on those but not combined. 👍
Do you have an opinion on Maxxis whites? They are fairly new.
From what I’ve heard great tire. I’ve never run them personally but people I trust say they are worth it.

@@vernherrman5811 yes I have. less rotating weight would help acceleration for sure.
How does the heating an cooling effect the durometer number? I would assume the repeated heating and then cooling would harden the rubber?

Shrinking a tire Put in hot box get it hot grab a jacket warp your arm around tire remove valve core and squeeze out air and replace core and dunk it.
So to shrink a tyre it needs cold water????
That’s what I’ve always done. Heat up, let air out and dunk in cold water.
@@kart6t3_ben thank you
Make a video of chain alignment
Good one ☝️
Laser alignment tool is the best.

Sorry if i missed it but, What psi do u fill the tire to when ur growing it ???
I didn’t. I go by circumference. Blow up 1/4 to 3/8 past desired measurement, then heat.

to avoid confusion please stop calling it the valve stem it's the VALVE CORE you want to remove not the entire stem
Pretty sure nobody’s cutting the rubber stem off to remove air, and if they do they’ve got bigger problems then tire sizing. Simple terminology slip
