Don is consistently the MVE in the fights because she's the first member of your squad. Every turn one sinner gets an extra action slot, and those are distributed in order. So Don has two attacks always after turn 2, while other sinners will be stuck with a single attack for longer.

Watch ESGOO's beginner guide. It explains a lot of game mechanics way better than the game did. Also, as others says, till canto 3 team building doesn't matter, all battles are too easy. But, so far, you can build a pretty good poise team.
Poise has previously been a vary mid gimmick, but recently we've been getting some really good poise identities (The Pequod, Cinq Association Section 4), and I think we'll see more to come. We've seen a pattern of Project Moon building out one or two gimmicks per season, and this season is the era of bleed and poise. Fun fact about Yi Sang. Most of his dialog, especially in these early chapters, are puns involving his name sounding like other words. If you pay attention to the voice acting you'll hear them saying "Yi Sang" a lot
“Cooler finishes” happen when characters unlock their skill 3, which happens at uptie 3. They’re the strongest and flashiest parts of any character’s kit.
Fun fact about Gregor's EGO: his giant mutant arm has the symbols of some of the Floors from Library of Ruina (Malkuth, Gebura, Chesed, Binah, and Hokma).
Hey, Foreman, not sure if you noticed this during Gregor's E.G.O animation, but his arm has a few familiar symbols attached to it. Should be able to see it with a casual watchalong.
Next time you use Greg's ego look at the little markings on his arm you should be able to recognize them. We don't know why they're there but it's a really cool reference at least.
I think it’s meant to represent the actual Kabbalah and not the librarians. There’s a cool Reddit post going into what they could mean to gregor’s character which I don’t think I can link.
So, about uptieing. My take on when to uptie - at canto 1 you really don't need to think about it. At canto two 3-4 ut2 ids are enough. At canto 3 again, about half your team should be ut3. For later chapters ut3 is usually enough and ut4 should be seen as a costly bonus, not as necessary investment.
Understanding the whole aberration thing early is good as most of the abnormalities we see and have EGOs are aberrations of ones we see in lobotomy corp.
42:46 I haven't seen any comments here yet about the branches but I'll just add this tiny lore explanation here just in case All other branch facilities are smaller if we still count Wonderlab's background lore having some off hand comments that the Records, Extraction, and Architecture departments only exist in the HQ

Not sure if you've been told this already, but just to be clear, the percentages shown over the skills during a clash have nothing to do with the chance of winning. It shows the damage modifier it'll get from damage/sin type if it hits. The "dominating/favored/neutral/struggling/hopeless" is what indicates the chance of winning.
@@wymarsane7305 True, but I'm just talking about it in general, and I feel like its prediction has gotten better at adjusting to negative coins and effects that change coin power recently. It still gets messed up by paralysis though, since it doesn't account for it wearing of in the middle of combat.
I'm sure you've noticed, and it's never mentioned or addressed, but it seems like Yuri in actuality is one of the clerks, evidence being her general lack of in-depth knowledge on the abnos, lack of armor from her time working, and very low standing even as a survivor of one of the branches.
Alright, time for more ID Reviews! Cinq Outis: I... actually don't have much of an opinion on her? She's good, and has Solo'd a few bosses on her own, but she's only been out for a few days and I don't have enough experience using her to determine how good she is. Assume at bare minimum that she's above-average, but take my judgement with a grain of salt. Liu Gregor: His rolls are... bad. All the Liu ID (With one exception, really) rolls are bad, actually, but it's made up somewhat when you get him to Uptie 4. Unfortunately, you're probably going to be stuck at Uptie 3 for a long time, meaning that this ID is not exactly superb. It's still functional, mind you, but I wouldn't devote too many resources to him specifically. Warp Faust: She's... Okay, she's weird. At Uptie 4 she's actually pretty alright, with a Skill 3 that gives some pretty good debuffs to the enemy if you have enough Charge. The problem is building any up at all, and in terms of that, you NEED her at Uptie 4 to be able to make use of her effects anywhere close to consistently. At Uptie 3 and below, she struggles to build any charge without immediately losing it to decay. She is cute though.
Cinq Outis is one of the best units i have for Mirror 2 Hard rn, her ridiculously high rolling evade with aggro makes quite a few bosses a complete joke especially with a bleed engine. And in general use her evade is still quite useful, her 2 rolls quite well with her conditional, her 3 is great for clashing, and she actually has a pretty easy time managing her Poise at Up4. All in all i´m not sure i´d put her above Molar but i would say she´s on par with Seven outside of a Rupture team and easily her best 2star ID. She has a niche as a dodge tank and she´s by far the best at that niche.
Cinq Outis is the only unit with both an evade and aggro. Which is an extremely potent combination, and something previously speculated that Project Moon was intentionally avoiding stacking on one unit. But she's also just a really solid poise unit in general, you'll get your thread's worth even if you don't use her to tank. Warp Faust has skills for applying good debuffs, but comes with two major problems: She's SLOW, which makes it really difficult to build sanity on her, and her ability to donate charge to allies is extremely mid. She'll basically be forgotten forever if we get another charge-focused Faust, even if it's also an OO.
@@zavos5659 I actually use W Faust a lot. She synergizes ridiculously with Fluid Sac and rolls decently. Being slow is good both for applying debuffs and because she can refill sanity with Sac after everyone else has used EGO. But she isn't a good early game choice, too expensive an investment and weak to blunt.
Oh yeah btw I'm not sure if this was corrected later on in the video, but you are going to branches of L Corp, so not the main one that uh, got yeeted out of the city, even though that nest would have some form of ruins of the main branch. There's like branches of L Corp all over the city due to being an energy supplier in the city. (edit: seems you might be realizing this throughout the dungeon nvm you good then)
A correction: to get a bonus to rolls your Offence Level needs to be higher than enemy's *Offence* Level, not Defence The difference between your Offence and enemy's Defence only increases damage
Alright, 48:54 got a genuine guffaw out of me, well done. Looking forward to this playthrough! I dove through your Ruina playlist last last year so I'm certainly anticipating some good stuff from ya this time too.
Dante is most likely reffered to as they/them because the character represents any and all players as a collective not just because they are ambigious in form so ,either way, no point in sweating over it too much . glad you like the game so far .
I think it's because we don't know who real Dante is and pm doesn't want to give us any hints 🤔 It's like saying X from LobCorp is "they", but we all know the truth.
This is so niceee 😭 I enjoy seeing you fanboy over familiar IDs and cool animations, and I get it 100%!! It's so nice to be back. Idk if anyone told you (or if you need this info at all), but during story sections you can make the whole text appear by clicking once more (same as in Ruina). In case you don't want to wait for unvoiced text to appear gradually. You can also speed up ego animations by clicking and holding left mouse button. During gacha you can click the central chain cluster (??) to view all the identities/egos you got (it will skip repetitions and showcase you only the new ones).
I said it last time and I'll say it again, for the story fights you really don't need to worry about using the "meta" IDs, rather the meta IDs are just the IDs you should prioritise uptying because they often gain more benefit and uptying costs resources so it's best to spend it on the IDs that profit the most. Also remember bough rhymes with cow
a little bit more info for u. when u selecting Sinners before battle, the numbers order is the order in which the sinner will gain extra speed "Dice" if they can gain any
I do have one helpful little piece of advice too i think. When you select your sinners to go into fights, the order you click them in does matter, as it determines who gets their second actions first. Don has always been selected first, so she has also done the most damage. Mind you, most of these enemies are also heavily weak to slash, which she has plenty of
One thing to note about the clash prediction, it only checks for the "initial clash" aka the first coin loss, not the total subsequent chance to win the entire clash, so if you mathed out the odds in your head and it contradicts the prediction, go with your calculations rather than the favorability it displays.
7:59 burns main problem is that it doesnt have enough good identities. It has a lot of ego but a bunch of them are on characters with no other burn support.
for your question about whether the branch facilities and the main/HQ facility from the game are similar in size I'm pretty sure they are for the most part, atleast each department is similar in size since the main difference between the branch facilities and the main facilities is that the branches don't have records or extraction departments, those departments are only in the main facility
Some advice- please check out the battle pass. There's free stuff that you don't have to pay for- including ego, thread, and free currency to buy IDs with. You don't even have to grind it out to get some neat benefits- so please, please do. ALSO. Liu IDs only really work if you're doing a lot of burn, which normally means a full team of some kind. Don't invest toooooo heavily in them, unless you happen to get a certain person with hair long enough to trip on in your pulls. There's also an event going! Make sure to claim your rewards when you get em! When it comes to battle, fausts ego is particularly useful because it heals SP for other teammates and even herself, which means more clashes go in your favor, and you can use more ego.
The cool finishers come with skill 3 at uptie 3, the game will pause other combats and focus on the character using one and they're usually really flashy
The IDs just keep coming. Cinq Outis is one of her best IDs, and they're both tanks. This one in particular focuses on dodging a lot and building up speed and dodging better with more speed. She even has some party support which is always nice. Liu Greg is about as strong as Liusault, except he has absolutely no burn count infliction so he'll never have good burn accumulation on his own. He has better direct damage at the cost of being very squish. W Faust is another tank. She doesn't do much until UT4, and even then she's best used as a support for other charge IDs. Her biggest strength is that she eventually builds charge much easier than she consumes it, so she'll enjoy the benefits of charge gifts consistently.
Regarding the size and the lack of abnormalities in the branches (spoilers for lobcorp and ruina if anyone needs this warning): 1) abnormalities are, expectedly, a bitch to have around, so i would imagine the less is the merrier as long as the energy quota can be reached 3) in Wonderlab (no longer canon) there were only, like, 5 (?) floors i believe, most likely due to either limited budget and/or no actual necessity, since there'd be no need for that much staff whilst having so little abnos around 3) there are theories regarding the architecture department being Ayin's EGO, kind of like Angela's library was, so one less floor to reasonably have in other places 4) the main facility having fucking stockpiles of abnormalities is, if i were to guess, probably tied to the enormous amount of energy that was required for the tree of light thing
the most important part about levels (aside from raising HP) is that every level up increases your offense level by 1 and for every 3 offense level you are above your opponent you get +1 to your clashes (this works the other way around to when the opponent outlevels you). But not every identity has the same offense level when you inspect them you can view their offense level modifiers which can range from -5 to 5 whith high offense level IDs being obviously better at clashing (case by case exceptions obviously notwithstanding)
It's great to see how much fun you're having with the game, I was honestly hoping for a while that you'd eventually decide to play. I've got a tip or two as a somewhat seasoned player, but you're performing swimmingly regardless. You can click on enemies to read their passives and such, and for abnormalities they even have observation logs like in LobCorp (written by the Sinners) which could be fun to read. There's also an event coming up next week, so I'd recommend saving up your lunacy, because I think you'll like the identities that are dropping.
4:02 FOREMAN. FOREMAN, FOR SHAME. As if Don Q. wouldn't have a hundred of each of those. Now if you asked her for a Red Mist or Black Silence pin, she might not be willing to give those up. But I PROMISE you she has a lot of each of the basic fixer badges.
I appreciate the effort in addressing Dante the way the characters in the game refer to them, it's a small detail but it's very nice to have a nonbinary protag in a game :)
Old G Corp. Manager encounter is one of the best moments of Canto 1 fr. But all the best is waiting us a little bit further :> Can't wait for new episodes 💜
I would dare to say "imagine the shame of dying to an abno in the contention field" then I remembered that I lost some low level employes for Snow white apple this way.
Levels increase health, offensive power and defensive power. The power of abilities will be adjusted during clashes based on the difference of offensive power between combatants, and offensive power will increase damage done, and defensive damage decreases damage taken. Small loredump: (This exposition will later appear in "Dante's Notes", which is generally a lore and exposition dump) Levels dictate the power of an identity's "frame", improving the physical performance and quality of their equipment in emulation of how such things were improved by the sinner in the identity's original world. Actually improving a Sinner's proficiency with an identity is the domain of "uptieing", which requires "thread" that you can obtain in Luxcavation dungeons. Thread is an enigma (and possibly a singularity), but it is known to have the capacity to tie possibilities together, which allows Sinners to better synchronize with the identities they use.
You've encountered your first Focused Encounter enemies! There are a ton of things I could say about gameplay, but I have something else to talk about first. Observation levels do more than just damage! As you encounter and defeat a single notable enemy multiple times (through repeatable content or simply seeing them multiple times), opening up their info screen (by clicking on them in the battle) will allow you to press the "View Observation Logs" button. Here you can read the Sinners' reports on the entity. I hope you enjoy figuring out who wrote the reports, as they are all anonymous! Since Focused encounters are more focused on reading details, let's talk about some details: Not sure if you realised this while editing, but the info for rolls on the top of the screen changes depending on if it is a clash or an unupposed attack. If it is a clash, it will try to predict the rolls for the clash on both sides, taking into account any effects that change the final result (power ups, power downs, etc). It will also try to take into account "paralysis", but since paralysis goes away during the turn for each coin that it affects, it can cause you to misjudge clashes sometimes. Be careful if an Identity applies Paralysis next turn! If it is an unopposed attack, it will try to predict the damage range for the attack. As you saw, the Peccatulum Iraes skill went from "1-19" (damage prediction) to "1-11" (clash prediction) Yisang-yioh! (That's all!)
In regards to a "meta" around discussion of Liu Gregor and Shi Don, unless youre doing Refraction Railway (you wont be any time soon) or Hard Mirror Dungeons, you can do whatever you want. Yes some characters are much stronger than others in general circumstances, but it really doesnt matter for a majority of the game. Whoever you like most WILL work (unlesss you happen to really like Zwei Rodya). And in terms of Don doing the most damage, right now it comes down to her being consistently the fastest, so she gets the free hits on staggered guys for all that juicy extra damage. Really just about anyone with her speed range and haste gain would be #1. Her skill 2 is SUPER strong though i dont wanna downplay her. That being said! She still fuckin rocks and has very funny clashing ability on par with EGOs at higher tier.
i havent noticed anyone else mention this, but you gain trinket sacks for the christmas event from clearing story stages for the first time, so if you havent redeemed any rewards there should be some available. maybe you cant redeem them for rewards until canto V though, not sure but hope this can help
I think you can definitely redeem the rewards without clearing canto 5, otherwise there wouldn't be a point in giving trinkets for story stages, but you don't have access to the event grinding stage if you haven't cleared it
The level ups increase your offense level which is like more damage (abt 3% per difference) and more clash power (1 per 3 offense level) and defense level (irrelevant) and hp
Just a tip- in abnormality fights, despite what the game said about you needing to fight them multiple times, you unlock their passives and information while fighting them, so make sure to check what they say during the fight
if you see someone who catches your eye on the extractions, just go for it, you can still get random shit on the rolls, so nothing lost. also, Der Freischütz comes the 11th, so you can save your extractions for that if you want
I recommend giving Axeiiyl's id tier list (ft Wavelander and ESGOO) a look for a general look of how good identities are. ESGOO does a buncha high quality guide content, Axeiiyl does solo content (a single sinner versus difficult content) and Wavelander does memes~ They do a bunch of joint streams, if you have an hour to kill you can learn a lot about your identities by listening to them debate it's finer points. Personally, listening to them really helped click with some mechanics that I'd overlooked, as there is plenty the game doesn't explain well.
Meta isn't really matter in this game. Because you can use base ID to clear everything. Maybe chapter 5 is hard but you can still clear it using base ID. So you use anything you like just like me run Liu team even there is no core ID for burn team yet.
@@LTDLetsPlaysHongLu is really suck in burn team because burn dont need alots of count unlike other status. He can only provide count but no potency, but his passive is really good so i always bench him. The only strong one in burn team are Liu Ish and N Sinclair.
This early on, I'd say up until like canto 3 all you need to worry in combat is resistences and even then I think its more important to experiment and see what's fun
We used to have a very succinct explanation as to what aberrations are in the Wonderlab comic, before the... incident and that whole mess. They are basically variants of the original abnormality, usually similar in strength and/or weaker, but never stronger. In Limbus, the vast majority of abnormalities you will encounter will be their own original idea, or an aberration. They will have similar themes, but will require vastly different thinking in order to... well, deal with them.
Dungeons so far have been 3-4 floors so yeah they can take quite a bit, especialy when difficulty starts to ramp up and you need to retry fights I personaly enjoy longer episodes, but its up to you.
1:06:40 the PM term for that are "Aberrations". A term brought up in Wonderlab, an official comic/manga about a random LobCorp Branch rather than the HQ from the og game. (Finding the comic will be harder now because of some stupid drama that happened and the artist striking it down from everywhere). Anyways, Aberrations are "copies" of abnos but different in some way. Example from Wonderlab, The og is Little Red Riding Hooded Mercenary and it has an aberration called the Blue Shepard. Or like here in Limbus, the og is the snow white apple from LC and now here it is the Ebony Queen's apple. Most aberrations are weaker than the original, but there are cases of the opposite. ("Titania" (ALEPH) is an aberration of Fairy Festival (ZAYIN)). Edit: Also, you'll see a ton of Aberrations in Limbus. Like a ton ton, which makes sense since aberrations seem to be as common as the regular abnos for branches. Won't say anything else to avoid saying spoilers xd
@@terraelaweonaoyou are correct but it used to be canon it no longer is due to creator wanting it be gone so outside of library abnos I doubt anything will be used
@@LTDLetsPlays I mean, my point kind of still stands, aberrations do exist in Limbus and at least that's how they used to be called. I'd think this is a similar scenario to how Servant of Wrath and others were first in WL and then in Ruina, that because of being in Ruina before the thing, they're still canon. Here Aberrations appear quite often and since before the artist's petition as well, so the term could be Canon still, no? (or at least there's a fifty fifty between that or PM choosing another name for aberrations, like, I dunno, unorthodox, or another synonym of abnormality xd)
The different variant that are similar to the main abno we have in L corp or abbreviation have been established in the Wonder Lab spin off comic so you are right about ebony queen there
Oh and one more thing. The pain Dante experience when bringing a sinner back is exactly the same one that they died from. Which was why they describe it as being pierced/ have their throat tear apart since that was how they get killed
so for the Sinner Levels they in general increase offense and defense level for the ID (aka better rolls and bigger dmg), as well increase the health of the ID which if theres too big of a gap between the enemy and Sinner, you will struggle quite alot with even winning clashes (idk the technicals of this in detail, buut its something like this) EDIT: whenever you see Hopeless or Struggling, its usually the time to use EGO skill since those roll above 20+, which are known to be "anti-enemy-aoe" skills in most of times (BUUUUUUUUT it is NOT ultimate problem solver, since it drains sin rescourses that fuel passives and drains sanity from sinners, also some ego wont roll super high due to thier "threat level") doing ALL fights in dungeon floors in canto 1 and 2 dont really give you anything.. BUT around canto 3 you might find useful from backtracking, just letting ya know ALSO you might knew that already but, in combat you can click on sinners and enemies, granting you small overview iof thier skills, passives and resistances, its really useful especially when flavored text pops up in boss fights

5:42 OOOOOO, I love this one, this is gooooood
A Der Freischutz lobcorp e.g.o id is coming for Outis next week! Exciting ^_^
Understanding the whole aberration thing early is good as most of the abnormalities we see and have EGOs are aberrations of ones we see in lobotomy corp.
26:43 I believe that is literally the opening lines to Metamorphosis yes
42:46 I haven't seen any comments here yet about the branches but I'll just add this tiny lore explanation here just in case
All other branch facilities are smaller if we still count Wonderlab's background lore having some off hand comments that the Records, Extraction, and Architecture departments only exist in the HQ
Welfare doesn't seem to exist either, and Central Conmand would obviously be unnecessary at that size
@@wymarsane7305 depends on the branch, one of the other branches visited (the one holding titania) by the wonderlab gang has a central command dept. so the briah layer exists to some extent but not atziluth
in term of units' power gap being too broken or too useless is not as high as other gacha games so just use anything you like
using more powerful units just make it a bit or a lot easier but in the end it's all depends on your plans and strategies
N-corp Heathcliff my beloved
If you want "cooler finishers" then uptying to get the skill 3 of an identity is the best way
Not sure if you've been told this already, but just to be clear, the percentages shown over the skills during a clash have nothing to do with the chance of winning. It shows the damage modifier it'll get from damage/sin type if it hits. The "dominating/favored/neutral/struggling/hopeless" is what indicates the chance of winning.
... sometimes. It is known for lying so situational awareness is a must.
W faust getting only 1 charge from skill 1 is truly peak id design
TBF Charge is literally useless for her at UT1 and at UT2 she gets the passive that lets her get some more. Still poorly designed af though.
Cinq Outis is an evade "tank". She evades really well with her passive(which unlocks on uptie 2) and gains aggro in further upties
(edit: seems you might be realizing this throughout the dungeon nvm you good then)
the levels mainly help with offense level, if a character’s offense level is higher than the target’s defense level they get a bonus to rolls
A correction: to get a bonus to rolls your Offence Level needs to be higher than enemy's *Offence* Level, not Defence
The difference between your Offence and enemy's Defence only increases damage
@@user-leet37598Never understood what it meant Thanks!
Also remember bough rhymes with cow
a little bit more info for u. when u selecting Sinners before battle, the numbers order is the order in which the sinner will gain extra speed "Dice" if they can gain any
Luv ur limbus videos, please keep doing them!❤
"I don't want depressed Don Quixote..."
- Forman said extremely sadly
Gregor literally has his roach on his shoulder while complaining about bugs to Rodion.
You should read the Observation Logs for abnos. They're quite fun to read. Some of them are even unlocked on the first time you meet an abno.
Liu Greg is really good at potency while Mersault has more count focus with ability to spread it
Regarding the size and the lack of abnormalities in the branches (spoilers for lobcorp and ruina if anyone needs this warning):
1) abnormalities are, expectedly, a bitch to have around, so i would imagine the less is the merrier as long as the energy quota can be reached
3) in Wonderlab (no longer canon) there were only, like, 5 (?) floors i believe, most likely due to either limited budget and/or no actual necessity, since there'd be no need for that much staff whilst having so little abnos around
3) there are theories regarding the architecture department being Ayin's EGO, kind of like Angela's library was, so one less floor to reasonably have in other places
4) the main facility having fucking stockpiles of abnormalities is, if i were to guess, probably tied to the enormous amount of energy that was required for the tree of light thing
the most important part about levels (aside from raising HP) is that every level up increases your offense level by 1 and for every 3 offense level you are above your opponent you get +1 to your clashes (this works the other way around to when the opponent outlevels you). But not every identity has the same offense level when you inspect them you can view their offense level modifiers which can range from -5 to 5 whith high offense level IDs being obviously better at clashing (case by case exceptions obviously notwithstanding)
Reminder Dante is LITERALLY ME.
And I like your Stand on that
Just want to say you're handling the game very well. Well done executive manager.
1:01 Manager Esquire!!!!! To where in the world hast thou disappeared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh and don’t worry about FOMO. There is none. Everything ends up in the dispenser sooner or later.
I appreciate the effort in addressing Dante the way the characters in the game refer to them, it's a small detail but it's very nice to have a nonbinary protag in a game :)
Old G Corp. Manager encounter is one of the best moments of Canto 1 fr. But all the best is waiting us a little bit further :>
Can't wait for new episodes 💜
I would dare to say "imagine the shame of dying to an abno in the contention field" then I remembered that I lost some low level employes for Snow white apple this way.
Levels increase health, offensive power and defensive power. The power of abilities will be adjusted during clashes based on the difference of offensive power between combatants, and offensive power will increase damage done, and defensive damage decreases damage taken.
Small loredump: (This exposition will later appear in "Dante's Notes", which is generally a lore and exposition dump)
Levels dictate the power of an identity's "frame", improving the physical performance and quality of their equipment in emulation of how such things were improved by the sinner in the identity's original world.
Since Focused encounters are more focused on reading details, let's talk about some details:
Not sure if you realised this while editing, but the info for rolls on the top of the screen changes depending on if it is a clash or an unupposed attack.
As you saw, the Peccatulum Iraes skill went from "1-19" (damage prediction) to "1-11" (clash prediction)
Yisang-yioh!
Tbh canto 4-5 are pretty difficult without strong 000s
1:00 Best part of the video
i havent noticed anyone else mention this, but you gain trinket sacks for the christmas event from clearing story stages for the first time, so if you havent redeemed any rewards there should be some available. maybe you cant redeem them for rewards until canto V though, not sure but hope this can help
I think you can definitely redeem the rewards without clearing canto 5, otherwise there wouldn't be a point in giving trinkets for story stages, but you don't have access to the event grinding stage if you haven't cleared it
The level ups increase your offense level which is like more damage (abt 3% per difference) and more clash power (1 per 3 offense level) and defense level (irrelevant) and hp
wonderful content as always keep on trucking!
THAT'S CLASS!
19:01 they dont call him the "Red Fraud" for nothing lol
Just a tip- in abnormality fights, despite what the game said about you needing to fight them multiple times, you unlock their passives and information while fighting them, so make sure to check what they say during the fight
passives/skills are unlocked during the fight, but the observation log/story is what the game was referring to.
if you see someone who catches your eye on the extractions, just go for it, you can still get random shit on the rolls, so nothing lost.
also, Der Freischütz comes the 11th, so you can save your extractions for that if you want
*Welvader/Wili
Another thing like Gregors roach, all of Don's ID's use her boots that she calls rocinante
Meta isn't really matter in this game. Because you can use base ID to clear everything. Maybe chapter 5 is hard but you can still clear it using base ID. So you use anything you like just like me run Liu team even there is no core ID for burn team yet.
Liu ish and Liu honglu though
@@LTDLetsPlaysHongLu is really suck in burn team because burn dont need alots of count unlike other status. He can only provide count but no potency, but his passive is really good so i always bench him.
The only strong one in burn team are Liu Ish and N Sinclair.
@@huynhquang-ez7mm Including NSync as a burn ID is really only a technicality, it's the least relevant part of his kit and might as well not exist.
note: the "range" preview for one-sided attacks is the expected *damage*, not the skill power.
Correction, they absolutely can be stronger.
It's not *often*, but it can happen. Fairy Festival (Zayin) -> Titania (Aleph)
Dungeons so far have been 3-4 floors so yeah they can take quite a bit, especialy when difficulty starts to ramp up and you need to retry fights
I personaly enjoy longer episodes, but its up to you.
Also please remember Wonderlab is not canon
@@LTDLetsPlays it's not? I'm pretty sure it at least was until the stuff happened.
The odyssey indeed had a purpose
i thought dante was tick/tock
Still not the most exotic pronouns I've seen in a gacha.
(That'd be rofecoxib/pregabalin for Medicine Pocket the enbeagle from Reverse:1999)
Hooowie, New Purpose for the odyssey!
Aberration not abbreviation :)
so for the Sinner Levels
they in general increase offense and defense level for the ID (aka better rolls and bigger dmg), as well increase the health of the ID
which if theres too big of a gap between the enemy and Sinner, you will struggle quite alot with even winning clashes
(idk the technicals of this in detail, buut its something like this)
EDIT:
whenever you see Hopeless or Struggling, its usually the time to use EGO skill since those roll above 20+, which are known to be "anti-enemy-aoe" skills in most of times
(BUUUUUUUUT it is NOT ultimate problem solver, since it drains sin rescourses that fuel passives and drains sanity from sinners, also some ego wont roll super high due to thier "threat level")
doing ALL fights in dungeon floors in canto 1 and 2 dont really give you anything.. BUT around canto 3 you might find useful from backtracking, just letting ya know
ALSO you might knew that already but, in combat you can click on sinners and enemies, granting you small overview iof thier skills, passives and resistances, its really useful especially when flavored text pops up in boss fights
Walpurgisnacht is coming!
Walpurgisnacht is coming!!
I’m sure he is aware and he is regretting it now XD
_Oh_ my god, validation! 😅
19:00 Ah, yes. The convergent evolution of the Red Fraud theory. 😂
Got a bit curious abt what "Uniform Tangos" means so I looked it up. I found "Tango Uniform", which means "dead", so idk what Outis meant
Just noticed Gregor explained what that means dmm im dumb
RUclips may or may not have posted a prior comment. I clicked the button but it didn't show up and I still can't see it now. If this is a dupe post then ignore whatever I posted before
I'm sure it's been mentioned, but I highly recommend trying out Pequod Yi Sang at some point since you got him last time. His big skill is more of his skill 2 than 3 due to it's crit effects and both his Skill 1 and Skill 2 can consistently generate the poise needed to use it. Skill 3 just makes him even more consistent and it's really fun watching him stab a guy repeatedly and take them from full health to 0 when you get the crits
Cinq Outis aka The Dodge Tank is actually amazing, can be extremely helpful even in the endgame Hard Mirror Dungeon!
A 00 unit that's as useful as a 000, imho. Not the most damage, but boy!
Will probably become a bit less relevant in exactly a week, as, well... fuckIN DER FREISCHÜTZ
1:01 Don Jumpscare
"Dondon's Shi ID is kinda cra-"
What!? Can't hear ya over the Boundary of Don!!!
(Just let him have some fun, we're like at least a month away from him needing to worry about "optimal teams" at this pace)
next time you do Greg's EGO, pay attention to his forearm, there is a cool easter egg there
Also you dont need to do all dungeon room just one room per tier
Dante just had such a masculine voice.
The Oddysey had a purpose
The Oddysey had a purpose
The Oddyssey had a purpose
The Ooddyssey had a purpose

Aya my other belov- and she's already dead. God damn it.
i really don't see why people get angry over others calling dante a male.
it seems pretty obvious that we'll get to see dante's real identity sooner or later, and it'll most likely be a guy
I agree, it's very tiring to see people throw fits over how they address an ambiguous character like Dante.
Right? I'd believe, it's "them" only because we don't know for sure yet. And I really doubt it'll be a female, haha...... If it is, we can just switch later.
Oh god he has the outism.
The Odyssey had a purpose.
Only that Ebony is ranked WAW (for hype?), get more deserving ones later.
The outism is strong with this one. Also an interesting little fact that will probably mean something in the far off late game is that Dante is actually refered to as sinner number 13 despite him being the manager
IIRC Dante has specifically been assigned number 10
@@nplt8263 oh right that's my bad I got it twisted because dante was the thirteenth reveal. Anyway important point is that dante is also a sinner for reasons we will eventually know.
