There will always be a need for a simple APC to carry the troops. You don't always have to have an expensive "spaceship", sometimes just an armored 6x6 is enough to do the job.
I know that generally all wheeled armored vehicles look kind of the same, but the similarities between this and the old, German "Fuchs" are extreme. This looks literally like a modernized version of the Fuchs.
@Captain Germany Doesn't change that it looks exactly like a German "Fuchs" and the Fuchs was developed in the late 70s and introduced into service in 1979.
They are all built based on closely similar theory of effective APC needs. The frognose cabin is an adaptation to amphibious requirements, and the majority of other parts are universally logical. Even soviet BTR models and chinese whatnots share near-complete similarity, thanks to military theorists working on similar conditions across the board.
@Jesus Christ And the Chinese have a submarine that is 100% Chinese and still looks exactly like a German Type 212 and just happens to have the same features.
Patria used to make Pasi 6x6 APC back in eighties, and at that time all major manufacturers had similar vehicles: Pasi, Fuch, VAB-MK2, BTR-60, Type 90, Pandur I, WZ-551
This is not an IFV, though, it's an APC, so I'm not sure it'd wise to use it as a tank destroyer in the first place. It would most certainly be suitable for SA missiles, though.

Take off the doors and make the sides more stealty and use them as stabilaisers and floaters?
It'll be interesting how it handles after a volley of RPG's have exploded a tire or 2.
# cool
I wish the patria 6x6 can fitted with a big tank guns and stinger missile just like on us apc stryker mgs of it

Looks like the German Fox IFV from 20+ years ago
This is improved version of sisu xa180 witch entered service in 1983
20+ years? Way more than that. The Fuchs was developed in 1976 and entered service in 1979. That's 40 years.
I only have experience from 20 some years ago. @@TrangleC
