Amazing lap Scott. You really nailed it. Shame the Speedo wasn’t registering. The aim smarty cam stuff can be a bit unpredictable when you get your videos back

Hi Scott , here is one that I don't figure out by the clip ...... why put on the throttle so early before the apex instead of carrying more speed into the corner n use the maximum g force on one side of the car then later but deeper throttle?

What is the trailing needle on the tachometer?

@@au1317 hmmm I guess that thing could detect when the driver was turning and lower the shift point that could be true
@@Bankable2790 Upon looking at it again I doubt it has any real purpose. It's following arbitrary patterns
lol yeah i don't think the driver sees it actually. maybe like "an ideal rpm the driver should be at given conditions"
It just tells you what was the RPM before you upshifted.
Silverstone is a bit of a rubbish track these days. Great lap though.

@@malcolmlane-ley2044 Just personal taste. I liked the old Silverstone from the 1970s. This one just looks like it's been Tilked. I get it that we all have to move with the times but it's hard to avoid making comparisons.
