Thank you for this very interesting video. Loved the nature parts, a lot. It is a beautiful place. It is so sad that Ira lost her life and that the innocent man spend 10 years in prison.
Again, thank, you, and greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪 ❤

Hello, good morning Lemmy! Thank you so much for watching the video and taking the time to comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I tried to include as much nature content as I could around areas that Ira was familiar because one of her hobbies was nature photography, and I wanted to try to bring her essence to life, what little I could. It's infuriating to me that her murder is still unsolved nearly 20 years later, and the police were so fast to try to put 2 innocent men behind bars just to get it over with quickly & easily. It's so unfair that Neal wasn't able to defend himself in court, and what happened to Mark is criminal. And the real murderer is still out there in the streets somewhere.

This one is going to take time to digest, as I want to check out the links you've provided. From what you have shown us, I agree with you, the cousins had nothing to do with it. If the appeals court is correct, the DA, police and whoever else was involved in this mishandling of the case, should be charged with second degree murder in my humble opinion. I'm hoping the links will help us all understand what happened in the case. Thanks Julie. 🌹

Isn't this another awful one? Ira was so young, so pretty, she had so much to look forward to in life. Her life had barely just begun!! I'm just so sad for her family. Really infuriating how many of these crimes have gone unsolved here in Charlotte. There HAS to be someone who knows something or some piece of evidence that wasn't brought to public consciousness. This doesn't seem like a case that should be so difficult to solve!! I'm really sick of the police force hanging innocent people (Dr. Friedland, these cousins) for crimes they didn't commit just because they think it's the easiest answer a jury would buy. It's really pathetic and infuriating. Mark and Neal's families deserve SOOO much more than what they got.

Yes Ma'am it is. This one hit me a little differently. She reminds me of someone I'm getting to know, in a lot of ways. Pretty, smart, loves nature, smiling a lot, a bright future ahead of her. ❤
Another completely senseless murder and from what I've seen so far, an incompetent legal system, once again failing to do their jobs. Falsely accusing two innocent good people of something they had no part of, and inadvertently causing one of them to die because of the stress THEY put on him. I get it, we're human and humans make mistakes, but this was beyond a mistake, and even when the mistake is called out, they did what? Fought the appeal! That makes this even more infuriating! Then to top it all off, while going after Mark and Neal, they didn't even look for the person(s) who did actually murder this sweet innocent young lady.
Maybe I shouldn't click on more of the links you've provided, just makes me even more mad. But I'm glad you are bringing these out and doing the video's, please don't think I'm not liking them, I do like learning this and you know that. I want to know more, just like you.

It's really making me lose faith in our police & justice departments for sure 😞
