My car is a 10:10 thanks for the kind words it’s a 2015 mustang GT with the coyote v8 under the hood with a 6 speed transmission the color is a deep impact blue
Hi there!!! It's so great to hear from you since we filmed your beautiful car in our video!! I absolutely love that color of blue, didn't recognize it as a Mustang at first until Michael told me about the Coyote engine. It makes an AWESOME sound!!! We have a friend here on your youtube channel named Mustang 6 The Force, and he was telling me about the different generations of Coyote engines and how mucu he loves the sound of them!! Thank you for being in the parade and showing off such an awesome car!! Merry Christmas to you all!!!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
you've got some great ideas here!! the park pass is an AWESOME idea. I bought my annual pass a few months ago but that is suuch a great idea
Hi L Cruu!!! Welcome to the channel!!! I'm so pleased you enjoyed this video & got some good ideas from it. I was really excited about the Park Pass idea because I know it's a great gift for people who love the outdoors & exploring and maybe don't want to collect a lot of "stuff," you know? I'm so glad you thought it was a great idea too. Thank you so much for you kind words & comments 💚❤️💚🎄💚❤️💚
loving how in depth you are! new to your channel but this is great - I appreciate that you're giving such a world view
Hi there! Thanks so much, super pleased to hear that you enjoyed the video. We always love hearing from other people especially like-minded when it comes to being healthy & happy. Thank you for the nice comments & welcome to the channel!!! 💚❤️💚
also would love to hear about the banana's that he was talking about @ 16:57
The Glycemic Index of a crushed banana causes higher spikes in insulin than does a banana just eaten out of the peel, whole. However, if you're going to eat fruit at all it should be after a protein, and before the meal is over with. Thank you buddy. Hope to hear from you soon.
having that low satiety level foods has been a killer all my life.
Yea, me too FloridaBiker. I get it, man. I have struggled my whole life trying to keep weight, but turning to this animal-based lifestyle has just been such a game changer for me. My allergies have almost been eliminated. It's still mind over matter for me most days, but it has become easier and my cravings have almost stopped. Thank you buddy for the comment. It's always appreciated!
Hi Michael!!!! Yep I remember the Intelevision, we had the Atari 2600. We got that for Christmas one year. I'll never forget that Christmas either. Was the most special one ever. We had a really long list of what we wanted that year, still too young to understand costs and what "Santa" could afford. Somehow though, everything we asked for was under the tree that year, except the Atari. Was still a great Christmas, we got almost everything we wanted. Then Mom asked us to help her in the kitchen getting breakfast ready. So my brothers and I followed her in. When we came out, there was a present laying on the floor with our three names on it, from Mom and Dad. To this day I have no idea how my parents pulled off that Christmas. 🎄 I still remember the three of us ripping the paper off and dancing! We had our Atari!! Burton's Batman came out in '89, and was always my favorite until The Dark Knight. While it's more serious, I think Bale did an amazing job in that movie. But of course, the real star of that movie was Heath Ledger. A completely different Joker than Jack Nicholson, and that movie will always be my second favorite now. And I was around when the Adam West Batman was on. Watched every week, same Bat Time, same Bat Channel. 😂 We had the Mattel hand held games, Football, both the white version and green one where you could pass the ball. Also had Basketball game. But never had the baseball game which was my sport growing up. LOL I was a "grown-up" when the Nintendo came out. I know my brothers had one, I'm the oldest. And Stacey had that and a Super Nintendo, she's quite a bit younger than me. LOL She and I ended up with her Nintendo's after we got married. She and I did get a Sega Genesis at one point. Then our kids started with the Play Stations, X-Box, and Nintendo Wii. Now Stacey has a Play Station 5 and I have an XBox One I think it is? I like to play racing games. 😁 ( Yes Mustangs! LOL) Loved the BB Gun story!! At least you didn't shoot you're eye out! 😉 My father taught me how to drive a stick shift. Was a '67 Chevy Nova, with a racing engine and racing clutch in it. He parked it on a hill, set the parking brake and got out, told me to get behind the wheel. I killed a few times of course, did a few burn outs, but eventually figured it out. My first 3 Mustangs were manuals. Taught Stacey how to drive a stick, she was a fast learner, and both of our boys. I did get a Star wars Watch one year. Digital, so was fancy! You had to puss the button on the side to get the time to show up in red digital numbers, it would stay on for a few seconds then turn off. i was styling that year! LOL The Christmas I mentioned earlier, I can't remember the name, but received a race car track, kind of like a slot car but the cars didn't use slots in the track, it was help on by magnets. The controller had a switch that was up or down. Up, the cars would race on one side of the rack, down it raced on the other side. And it had a Blocker Car that always raced on one side or the other, so you'd have to switch the button up or down, to pass that car or the car you were racing against. I also received this fancy alarm clock radio. All digital, with a key pad to set the time and radio stations. I had that clock well into my 30's. LOL It finally stopped working. That was some Christmas! Fun Video Michael! See you soon Buddy!
Hey Mustang, isn't it amazing how much has changed, even in the last 40 years. I love that you still have your Atari - those things could be worth a fortune now! I don't even know where to begin with all of this. I just love thinking about those special Christmas's and memorable gifts. And being able to see all of the technology change is pretty amazing too. Thinking about the graphics in an Atari versus something like Call of Duty now on a PS5 (or racing games! haha), is so life-life it's ridiculous. Yes, I agree, Bale was fantastic in the Dark Knight and Ledger deserved an Oscar for that performance. I always watched the Batman movies up until Pattinson played The Batman, and that was a hard NO from me. You know I'm a Star Wars nerd too, so that watch sounds amazing. The one toy I regret ever getting rid of was that Millennium Falcon that was released in the 80's. Cannot believe I got rid of that! I also had a slot car track at one time. Those always amazed me. I thought that was the coolest thing; to have electric cars on a track you customized. We ended up mounting ours on a piece of plywood. That alarm clock made me laugh. Back then, we thought anything was cool if it was digital. As always, thank you for the kind comments and trip down memory lane. Loving seeing your name come through. Have a great day buddy.
Hey Michael, yeah the Atari's would be worth something if they still worked. LOL Even before we had the Atari, we had the original Pong game, no controllers, just two dials on the unit. we played that game for hours. Just the square ball bouncing back and forth. Kids today would have laughed at us playing such a "silly" game. LOL The graphics today are completely different compared to the good old days. I mean, the racing games, I have the steering wheel and foot peddles too, almost actually feel like you're driving, you just don't feel the motion, tight grip on the wheel, you slam the gas or brakes. The Atari had a joystick. LOL I honestly haven't seen a Batman movie since the Christian Bale trilogy. Just couldn't see anyone playing the part any better, And Pattinson?? I never saw any of the Twilight movies, but that's all I would have thought about if I had seen him playing Bruce Wayne... I agree with you, very hard NO. I'm guessing you had the big Millennium Falcon, maybe 2-3 feet across? ALWAYS wanted one of those. I saw one for sale on Star Wars Collectables on FaceBook recently going for over $500. I've got several newer Star Wars toys now, the Hot Wheels Millennium Falcon is sitting here on my computer desk even. Yeah, digital was new and cool back then. Today, kids can't even read the time on a clock face. Not sure digital is always better. LOL Thank you Buddy for this cool video, brought back lots of fun Christmas memories!!
Now this was different, but very fun to watch. It's a chat but more like an interview, and Mari was a great guest star. The one question I kept thinking you were going to ask her was about parades. Do they have Christmas Parades in Colombia, like we do here? We've seen they was they go all out in parades down there, especially Carnival. Was very interesting hearing her talk about Carnival also. What I know or have seen before your series this year, was what she described what it was like in Rio, from movies and whatever they call what they do in new Orleans around that time. I watched a movie last week that was filmed during Carnival in Rio, actually two different movies come to think of it, and compared it to what I saw on the channel, and Mari's explanation of the differences makes sense now. This was really cool Julie and Mari, you two should do this more often! Maybe even Mari interviewing you! 😊
Hi Mustang!!!! I hope things are going well & hopefully you've got things sorted out for this week. This is as such a fun Vlog to film, and was actually the first Vlogmas video that I did a couple of weeks ago, before we were really into the swing of things, and it really kicked off the series! It was so much fun to do. Mari was a fantastic cohost!!! 💛💙❤️. I didn't think to ask her about parades but will the next time I see her. I think she probably would have thought to mention it if it was a big thing in Colombia. Spending the Christmas season in Colombia is high on our bucketlist now!!! 🇨🇴 💛💙❤️
Hi Julie!!! I just thought that since they seem to go "all out" for their parades, you think maybe a Christmas parade would be fun to see. Has Mari ever seen a parade in the US? Wonder how she'd compare ours to theirs. :) Hope you all get to experience a Christmas with Mari and her family, would be interesting to see!
Hi Mustang!!! I am hoping you are both happy & safe on the road to Florida today and wishing the best for you & Stacey & Sticky, no matter what the outcome turned out to be! We're seeing Marshall & Mari tomorrow night, so I'll ask about the parade and send them your good wishes too!!! :D
Super cool finds in there. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching!! We had a great time exploring the antique mall finding cool things!! ❤️💚🎄
WOW!! What a Beautiful reminder of an Amazing Adventure!! As the pictures appeared, I remembered the locations and of course the smiles! What a great slide show, of a great time we all shared with some amazing people! Just beautiful!! 🥲
Good morning, Mustang!!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed this video. When Mari told me about this song in our Tea & Chat video, I looked it up & fell in love with it. I really wanted to feature the song in a video without other audio, so decided to put in our Colombia memories... and then there were SO MANY, I couldn't bring myself to stop adding pictures!!! Had to play the song twice!!!!! 😂💛💙❤️
I really did love this Vlogmas! It brought back so many memories of your time there, and watching it from up here. I kept thinking, "I remember this!" "I know when they were there!" , remembered conversations we had after those videos premiered. Was just so cool to see the pictures, kinda like I was right there with you, when I wasn't. LOL And Mari sure did give you a pretty song to find and play, it fit perfectly!!
I just love this song!! Michael's getting sick of hearing me sing it around the house I'm sure 😂
🤣 Oh well. He'll live.😂
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D
Hi Abra!!!! 🥰 And Julie and Michael too of course! Well the first one was a 2024 GT. The second one was a first generation, didn't see the rear end long enough, want to say 67-68, but I could be wrong. Coupes around those years always throw me off. LOL The Fastbacks are ones you see more often now. The white car, after the Bronco, was a Monte Carlo SS, Dale Earnhardt Sr. Most recognized car, his were Black most of the time, but did drive a silver one in the All Star Race in Charlotte once. Behind the camaro, you loved the sound of, yuck, 😉 Was a Pontiac GTO most likely, was based on the Holden Monaro, rebadged and left hand drive as a GTO. (Holden is a General Motors company based in Australia.) BUT, GTO's built between 2004-2006, the only years they made this version of the GTO had a Ram Air Hood as far as I know, this one didn't. 🤷♂ Michael was correct, the all black Trans Am was KITT. Knight Industries Two Thousand, or K.I.T.T. There was another version in 2008, also called KITT, or Knight Industries Three Thousand. And it was a Mustang!!! But that TV series didn't do very well. LOL, although the car was AWESOME! 😁 It was a 2009 Mustang Shelby GT500KR. The KR stands for King of the Road. Then lots of Chevy's Corvettes, my dads favorite cars. 😐 He had one similar to the old red convertible when I was born, except it was Baby Blue. 😊 I agree Julie, too many Corvettes, not enough Mustangs! The Blue Mustang I think is a Kona Blue color. It is a Coyote like Michael said, just means it as a code name Coyote engine. (Also had Euro-Tail Lights, factory lights are Red in the US, White with red bulbs in Europe. LOL) There a 4 generations of the Coyote engines, this years car should have a Gen 3, just like our convertible has. Gen 4 is in the '24-'25's. Each generation is more powerful than the last. I Know, TMI. LOL Another cool Kona Blue Mustang after the "decked Out" Gladiator, except that one wasn't a Coyote. LOL Coyote engine Mustangs have a 5.0 behind the front tires. This was a 4 Cylinder EcoBoost, like our other black Mustang that I drive daily. Lots of really nice Jeeps too! Loved the Lime Green one Julie! I thought I counted 8, but I stopped counting after seeing a couple of stuffed Grinches. LOL Fun Parade! Sorry, been away. Really bad week, and got worse today. Dog/House sitter canceled on us. Not sure what will happen for Orlando and the Dog Show, Stacey and Sticky are for sure going still. I'll keep you both updated as best I can.
Good Morning Mustang!!!!!!!!! So glad to hear from you again!! We were hoping you would watch this Vlogmas because of all the old cars, I figured there would be some really interesting ones in there for you, plus all the lovely Mustangs!!!!! I'm a bit shocked how much you know about all these cars though, WOW, I was reading your comment and trying to remember what in the video I had filmed, and I guess there were a lot more than Mustangs that you're really knowledgeable about!!!! We need you on our trivia team for all the auto questions!!!! :D. I had no idea there was a Dale Earnhardt-esque car in this parade. How cool! I'll try to film the back ends of cars more often if that's part of helping identify the year. KR = King of the Road, HAHAHAHAHA :D. I had never heard of a Mustang Coyote, but that's probably not surprising, I don't really keep up with cars, even Jeeps.... haha. That sounds fast as hell though! I'm so sorry to hear your week has been so bad :(. I was afraid something might either be wrong or at least keeping you busy, since we hadn't heard from you in awhile, and we're so sorry to hear it's been a bad one. That's awful that the sitter canceled. I really hope you guys can work something else out. We were so excited for you to vlog the show and possibly some Playalinda for us, but we understand that the pups at home have to come first. I really hope things turn around for you guys this upcoming week. <3
Hi Julie!!!! I'm no expert on Mustangs by any means, has just been my favorite car for as long as I remember. And coming from a GM and Chrysler Family, I was the Black Sheep because I liked Fords. 🤣 I bought my first Mustang when I was 25, and so was the Mustang, it was a 1989 25th Anniversary Edition car. Best thing about that car in my memories was how impressed my father was with it. 😊 Kind of changed his mind about Mustangs. I was the only owner of that car, and put over a quarter million miles on it. The Dale Earnhardt "style" car was the street legal version of the cars he raced most of his Championship years. NASCAR used a "selling point" back in the day, Race on Sunday, Buy it on Monday. While the cars they race are similar to cars you can actually buy, you couldn't buy an actual NASCAR race car. But in the early days they did use real cars and turned them into race cars. Not like that anymore, but they are styled like real Mustangs, Camaro's and Camry's in the Cup Division. Yeah Carrol Shelby, a pretty famous race car builder, was hired by Ford to improve their race cars back in the 60's, The GT40's and Mustangs. You filmed a Shelby GT350R at the museum. Shelby loved to throw "cute" initials on some of his designs. The GT500KR was the King of the Road when it came out. My favorite name was the Shelby GLH, which means Goes Like Hell. LOL When we say Mustang Coyote, we're talking about the engines in them. Stacey can tell you, for years we'd out somewhere and I'd hear one. "That's a Coyote!" I'd say, and sure enough, one would be near by. She'd just shake her head. LOL But after we bought ours, she fell in love with the sound of them. I'm surprised how many people ask us to rev the engine when we're out in it. Happens to Stacey too when she drives it. Ours has a custom exhaust on it as well, so it's louder than normal too. 🤭 When my mother bought her new car a couple of months ago, she asked me to help her, the salesmen at the Honda dealership all came out to hear our Coyote growl. Big smiles on their faces. 😁 They are rather fast. I'm not that kind of driver, but they are limited by the computer to hit 155 MPH. According to some RUclips videos I've seen, when the speed limiter is removed, they can do over 180 MPH. Still not sure what going to happen on Tuesday. Part of the "problem" we had all of last week, is the only solution we've come up with that will allow me to go with Sticky and Stacey. I know that makes no sense, it's hard to explain without saying too much. I just want to go with them So Much! I've been looking forward to this since last years show. Maybe we'll figure it out Monday, so we can leave Tuesday.... Not looking good though. 😢
Hi Mustang!! I hope you & Stacey have found a solution for your Florida trip and you've both been able to go! Today I believe the day you told me you'd planned on leaving with Sticky together and I'm rooting for you that you all got to go. Either way lil Sticky is definitely getting all of our best wishes & good lucks & good vibes this week!! Go, buddy, go!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Julie!! Unfortunately, much for the same reason I couldn't go on the Tennessee trip a couple of weeks ago, I can't go to Florida either. Our only option just isn't going to work. We'd worry the entire time we'd be gone. Would they be fed? Would they have water? Would they be let out? Just can't trust it would happen so... Our babies are by far more important than me going. Stacey and Sticky will leave sometime Tuesday, she has to do some work first, then I think they are going to come visit me at work before they leave for Florida. Going to miss them both so much. 😢🥰 Stacey is going to try to film as much as she can, but she'll be by herself most of the time. 😢
10:10 is mine it’s Deep Impact Blue has the coyote motor with the 6 speed 💙

Hi Robb!! I hope you guys have fun at Playalinda today! We'd love to hear an update from you how it is, how the reconstruction efforts are going, etc. We miss Playalinda sooo much since moving away. Have fun today!!! 🩷🩷🩷
Thanks for your input on these vs plated shoes. Very helpful! 5:18
Thanks Beast! I've been an avid Brooks brand snob for years but these just kind of fell short. Thank you so much for the comment. I decided to be a Saucony person after this one. I have had much better luck with them since ditching this shoe. I appreciate it!
Awesome stocking fillers ideas Michael 😃 I have never heard of these brands including the skincare ones. I’ll check if some of them are available on Amazon uk
Always thrilled to see you Zee! Thanks so much for the comment. I appreciate it. Yes, I think these are solid contenders and Amazon should be running some specials during the holidays to save a few Pounds. Thanks so much buddy. I hope you're having a great day across the pond!
these are all solid choices! excellent selection!
Hey buddy! Thanks a bunch, glad you liked watching the video. Hope our paths cross some day in Florida! Keep on biking 🚴🚲💪🏻🏃🏻♂️
Like 6 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. A very interesting place to visit! Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week 👍 💯 ❤
Hi Flip Flops!! Thank you for watching!! 💚❤️💚
Link to leopard pillows in the thumbnail?
Hi Dolores! I wish I could share the link, I love those pillows too! We're currently living in an AirBnB that was fully furnished when we moved in. I have no idea where our landlord got those pillows. They are super comfy though! 🐆🤎🖤
The back ground music is extremely tacky, inappropriate and annoying.
Hi there, Wulf! I'm so sorry to hear you feel that way about this video. I was doing the best that I could with the royalty-free music I have available through RUclips to match the creepy vibe of this topic. There are plenty of other videos about Kyle Fleischmann out there on the internet for you that have a much superior music selection to the one I've posted here on our channel. The one thing that I do bring to the table that, as far as I know, no one else has done yet, is that I retraced Kyle's last known footsteps, from the 2 places he was last seen on security footage, along the route where his cellphone pinged for almost 2 miles, all the way across town. I think that's unique and I am proud of this video. Thank you for the feedback on the music selection; I will consider this in the future when making other videos.
Never thought about a nail polish bag, that’s a good idea for her and the annual National Park pass for me 😊
Hi Rich!! I love this bag & definitely recommend something similar, if your wife has lots of polish and has to move them around often. This one's probably bigger & more than I need, but I picked it out because I knew I'd grow into it quickly! How have you all been? I try to keep up with your adventures. We're hoping to make it back to Florida in January!! ☀️❤️☀️
Most weekends (unless the weather is less than ideal), 13 will fill up pretty quickly. Luckily the Park Service does not hassle folks at 12 or north of 11 who wish to be tan lines free.
Hi there! We keep hearing that about Playalinda, that parking is an issue, but we've only had trouble finding a spot to park once! It's probably because we're never there on the weekends, also we tend to get there very early, as soon as the park opens, if possible. I appreciate the park service working with people who have to park elsewhere, especially with so much of Playalinda being under recomstruction right now. We haven't been able to visit in many months and miss Playalinda dearly ❤️❤️❤️
@michaelandjulie last time I went they had the road closed off around #6. But when I went up there everyone at that area was in the buff. It was the same one other time I went that basically if it is not fully open it's OK to make the northern most parking area the 'substitute 13'.
That's great to know!! I saw that they are reconstructing many of the boardwalks this week that were damaged in the hurricane. We appreciate them allowing 13'ers to use whatever northernmost boardwalk is open. Have you been to Apollo Beach? We've only been once, that's when we stumbled on the naturalist beaches, by accident!, in the first place. We never went back to Apollo though, unfortunately. I'd love to hear how it's doing ☀️❤️
No real tips or anything on traveling to Colombia, what to do, where to go, what not to do etc. More like a family video, no substance.
Hello there, Zander! We're sorry if you didn't enjoy the vlog. If you noticed in the thumbnail, this was #1 in a series of daily vlogs, so it was never intended to be an informative/educational video. We had announced prior to this video that we were moving to Colombia, South America for the summer and would be daily vlogging every day that we were there. We spend time in Minca, Tayrona, San Andrés, Cartegena, and the Savannah, in addition to daily vlogging our lives working as digital nomads in Barranquilla. We ended up spending 2.5 months in Colombia and learned about & experienced as much of it as we possibly could, and we enjoyed every minute of our time there. 💛💙❤️💛💙❤️💛💙❤️
that teal and pink combo is pretty nice! loving this series so far, got me thru my morning and I just got the notification on Michaels upload, going to go watch that one now!
Hi Bike Vlogger! Julie here 🚲🚴♂️🚴♀️. Thank you, I'm quite into the pink & teal trend this Christmas, but Michael definitely loves the more classic Christmas colors. We're so excited for Vlogmas and so happy you're looking forward to them too! We're trying to come up with a new Christmassy video every day leading up to Christmas, wish us luck!! 💚❤️💚
Hi Michael and Julie and Abra in the picture !! If you ever celebrate Thanksgiving in Michaels "neck of the woods" some year, you could mail your Christmas Cards from Santa Claus Indiana!! It's only about an hour or so away from Louisville. just imagine all of the Vlogmas content you could get in this little town!! And in between and a bit further north is French Lick Indiana, where those two old really fancy hotels are I told you about a while back. 🙂 This is fun to watch, Abra talk, Chiro talk, Sweden Talk, Playalinda Talk, LOL. "I wrote like a maniac!" 🤣😂🤣 Best Wishes to your Uncle Julie! I wondered if you stay in NC was news like this. I guess I hoped I was wrong, but at least you've heard some good news. Hmmm, depends on the year of your Uncles car/truck. The GMC version was called Sprint and later they renamed them Caballero, which they said was Spanish for Gentleman Cowboy. Sounds like your Uncle if you ask me. ☺ You've talked about him and Grandma often, I know they mean a lot to you! "How long will it take to edit this video?" "Four Years!" 🤣🤣🤣 The brightest crayon in the tool shed?🤔🤭 Awesome story about your best friends! And a little background on how you two met as well! So cool!! Obviously that site did a great job!! At least I think so anyway, and you two do as well. Except for charging the guys and not the Gals.... 🤣 Hard to think of Abra as a Pandemic Puppy, but I guess she really is huh? Can't really blame the girls for taking photos of such a cute little ball of fur. 🥰 And she's smart too, look how she wrapped Mari around her paws. 😁 Very fun video! Really nice to hear the stories, the background, and little bits of info here and there. 🙂 Buckling up for 24 more!! 🎄🎄
Hi Mustang!!!!!! Good afternoon, it's 1:00pm and I'm just now sitting down to check comments! I have so many Vlogmas videos filmed so far so I'm trying to edit them & get them scheduled, soooo excited about this season of videos!!! :D. This video definitely brought back memories from Vlogmas last year when we went to Fort Christmas to mail our cards. At the time we were thinking we would either mail our cards from Fort Christmas or at least some other Christmas-adjacent name sounding town every year in the future because we got so many compliments on the cool cards! But this year they're just going to say Charlotte NC haha. Maybe next year we'll be anywhere near Santa Claus, Indiana, that would make a great postal stamp!!!! You're right, it was a GMC Sprint! I just couldn't remember in the moment of filming this video and forgot to look it up later. It was gold and when I was 4 years old, it was the COOLEST car I had ever seen and always has been!! He had it for many years but has since sold it. You don't see too many of them anymore! I know, it stops me in my tracks to think that early next year will be the FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the beginning of the Pandemic, and about 6 months later we were adopting a puppy! These pandemic puppies sure are living their best lives though. I think 2020 really changed the way a lot of us viewed dogs and house pets / indoor animals. Abra feels more like my child than I could ever imagine any other animal feeling, because she joined our lives when there was just about literally nothing else in the world to do, and she has been there with us through so many changes, and she has traveled all over the place with us. She's a member of the family, not a pet. I forget some times that she even is a pet!
Stacey has never been much of a nail polish gal, she did have a French manicure for awhile, I really liked that. I think I liked the Blue and Green colors the best, but they'll all look good as the Holidays go along. We'll have to keep our eyes on to see which ones you're wearing in the video's! 😁
Hi Mustang!! Haha yep, you'll probably be able to track the order videos were filmed in if you pay that much attention to my nails LOL 😂. We have already finished filming almost half the videos for Vlogmas (for once, I'm WAY ahead!!) because we know the last couple if weeks before Christmas will be insanely busy, and if we don't film it now, Vlogmas won't happen. So I'm got like 10 videos looking at me here on the computer I need to edit 😂😂😂. I have no idea what order I'll post them in though. Might have to mix it up based on which ones I can get done first. I'm so excited, I checked out RUclips's Christmas music options, and there are sooooo many!!!!!! 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Hi Julie!! Well you know me, I pay attention to your video's, like when you hair changes colors, nails the same as three days ago... No idea why I notice stuff like that. LOL Although when you went to your natural color hair, it stood out to me because I really like that color on you. 🤭 Going to be a busy month, that's for sure!!🙂🥰🙂🙂🙂
Buckle up!! ❤️❤️❤️.
We just watched the video you posted!! Michael was logged in so he replied. I thought the pizza looked great! Not exactly the kind of pizza I like, but close enough, I'd try it! 🍕 🤤
I'd better!! Forgot to say Hi to Abra in this video!! I'm such a bad boyfriend. ☹ But it was so fun to see her again!!! Tell her Mustang says Hi Abra!!
Bobby Kreiger?
Hi there! It was a misspeak, I meant Robby 🖤🖤🖤
Thanks for doing the video. Quite interesting!
I'm so glad you enjoyed watching!! Thank you for letting me know you liked it 🎸🤘🏻❤️🖤
Always appreciate the different content you guys do
Aww thank you so much, Z! We are really having a lot of fun with our channel ❤️🤍💙
Like 5 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. Very nice! We enjoyed. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great weekend 👍 💯 ❤
Thank you so much, Flip Flops! We hope you're having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend 🤎🤎🤎
A Big Like! 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. Some nice polish, for sure! Awesome colors. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great weekend 👍 💯 ❤
Thank you so much, guys!! We appreciate you always!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
good luck with your channel...
Thank you! We appreciate it ❤️
A car chat!!! I love it!!!! Memorial May was awesome, and like we talked about at the time, you did such a wonderful job doing your daily videos!! By then you both had convinced me to start. Still no where near you and your work of course, but have to admit, I'd love to get to a "Michael and Julies Memorial May" standard!! ☺ Michael mentioned the location I wondered the most about, Australia. I wondered if you had been or would go there. Not sure why I always wondered that, but this is the "location" I had in mind, when I thought of the question. I'll explain later. LOL Canada Julie? That one stumped me. LOL Even I've been there, and I'm not a world traveler like you two. So Haulover Florida and Gunnison in New Jersey here in the US... Gotcha! Oh well at least we got to hear an Abra Update. 😁 It was so much fun seeing her in Colombia as much as we did. Just love seeing Happy dogs as you know. 😉 I kid you not, you counted down on number three, and as soon as Julie said "three", it went to a commercial!!! 🤣 I picked @DidYouZThat in my mind before I asked the question, just figured you three would make a really fun video together. ☺ This question came from seeing two different channels getting together and each filming an Adventure, they both film and both put up videos of the Adventure. I find it very interesting to see the two different perspectives of each of them. So like comparing Michaels and Z's movie review of a movie they watched together, or You two comparing with Roadside on a location in Florida, or a spectators view of a Dog Show from you compared to the "behind the scenes" view from us... But was really thinking about a channel you enjoy and would love to do a video with them. Believe it or not, I don't recall ever seeing Adam's videos before, he looks like fun! going to check these out trust me! I guessed Sweden again actually because Michael wasn't on the last trip. ☺ And Australia is where I would like to take an International trip, have heard so many wonderful things about the beaches there. Just think it would be fun to see as many of them as we could as well as the people. But have no plans to do that, just a bucket list item I guess. One of those "what would you do if you won the lottery?" answers I guess. YES! Potato Candy from Mashed potatoes, have had that and you're right Michael!!! So yes I have heard of it!! Stacey remembers it too!! Pulled candy, hmmm not sure what that is. The one big thing we have in Indiana usually is Sugar Cream Pie, although haven't had that for Thanksgiving this year. Mom made an awesome Apple pie though. 🤤 We did Christmas the exact same as you Michael, Dads parents Christmas Eve, Christmas Day with Mom's parents. We have gone from Deep Fried Turkey, which was really good, to now Smoked Turkey, which will be smoked Friday for Saturday's Thanksgiving Dinner. 😁 That was our Dinner today, slow cooked Turkey Breast, we had the normal tators, stuffing, too of course... We did watch the Philadelphia National Dog Show today, irritates Stac when they don't show ALL of the dogs. LOL But we did see the AHT group winner. (Sticky is much better looking in my opinion. 😁) Honestly guessed the Jim Morrison Video would be Julie's number one! 😁 I mean the Doors, so..... ☺ So glad Michael mentioned the Daily walks, although just a part of each days video, they were something I looked so forward to watching. What he did, what he was listening to, just felt like he was talking to each one of us. Same with Abra's last "walk" of the day. I really felt the "Playalinda Visit" mention... It's my highest viewed videos as well, and obviously for the reason Michael mentioned. 😐 BUT its so hard to express the feelings you have or take away from that and others visits. That's was the "connection" I felt with you both after seeing that one video. You both did such a great job telling us what it meant to you and how much you honestly enjoyed that beach. What it meant and still means to us, MATCHED your feelings. It's hard for us to explain it to family, I mean "it's just a beach right?" It's so much more and you both know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. How much we can't wait to go back, just like you two want to as well. Can't wait for Vlogmas, and will try to keep up when we're traveling, there will be two trips to pick up and drop off our son for the holidays too. And still planning on the AKC National Championship experience with Sticky vlog. And hopefully Shorts the whole time as well. And you know I'll be watching Michael's training video's, they are so much fun and of course the actual Half Marathon!! Thank You so Much to the both of you!! Love talking to you both today, was so fun!!!!!!!!!!
Good morning, Mustang!!! I am almost a full pot of coffee deep to reply to this behemoth comment HAHA. I knew the Q&A video was going to be a long one, but whew! We sure did ramble on for a long long time haha. This was one of the most fun videos I think we've ever posted. We specifically did it in the format of a "car chat" just for you because I know those are some of your favorites.... although we did NOT mean to forget the tripod and have to hold the phone for an hour & a half LOL!!!!!!! But... It really felt like hanging out with 2 of our friends and just chatting, answering some questions, and having a good little fellowship. I hope it felt the same way for both you and @DidYouZThat because that's how it felt for us <3 Tis the season to enjoy and love on your friends and family, and you both feel like a special class of friends in our lives! I think both of our minds immediately went international when you asked about places we wanted to take the vlog to, and it wasn't until I was editing that I thought maybe you were more curious about domestic things we want to see & share! That really didn't cross our minds until right at the end when I remembered I wanted to vlog all of the naturalist beaches. I would have bet money that Michael would have said Australia. He's mentioned being curious about it many times before, although he absolutely HATES long plane rides, so I remind him, how else will we get there LOL. I am just so used to being in warm/hot places after our time in Florida and Colombia, that my first thought was for an extreme temperature/climate change, which is probably why Canada and Sweden came to mind right off the bat. Australia has never been quite as interesting to me as it is for Michael, but you know we would absolutely love the chance to travel anywhere, and we would certainly love to vlog any of it. Little Abra sure misses being in the videos!! I filmed a video yesterday that will get uploaded tomorrow, and she kept trying to stick her little nose in the frame LOL. She will make a few appearances in Vlogmas, don't worry! In fact on Sunday this weekend, we are planning to take her to a Christmas parade, *IF AND ONLY IF* the weather is nice, i.e. not raining. She's on the cusp of needing a bath haha. Of course, if we make it to the parade with her, we will for sure make a vlog out of it and share for Vlogmas! <3 I love the idea of collaborating! Unbelievable that RUclips just "knew" to put an add right then when we were doing a countdown LOL. I think Adam the Woo's channel is so much fun, he does exactly the kinds of things Michael & I like to do, even if it's just riding around looking for cool stuff, which is for sure what brought him to mind when Michael was going to answer the question. I was thinking about our RUclips friends of course. I think it would be so much fun to meet Z and maybe all go to the movies together and post our own reviews, although he definitely does a way better job concisely reviewing a movie than we do!! And of course I'm missing Florida, so I was thinking of our sweet friends the Adventure Leighs. And we would love to do a video with you too, if our paths were to cross!!! Maybe a little Abra & Sticky play date! <3 I have never heard of Sugar Cream Pie, but man that sounds goooooooood! :P. Thanksgiving really is the best holiday for food, in my opinion. Michael likes to do classic finger foods, but I like to just "ham out" (another pun!) on the big stuff, big dollops of this and slices of that. We really do "pig out" on Thanksgiving, there's sooooo much variety of things that we love! We're fortunate that we get to celebrate the holidays multiple times between our different families, and usually on the actual day of the holiday, Michael & I are at home just the 2 of us, so we do it all over again! We are thinking of possibly sharing some of the things we like to make to eat for holidays as part of Vlogmas, since you were asking about carnivore holidays. Michael LOVES to cook (I personally hate cooking, I'd rather do dishes all day long) and he really likes doing recipes for the channel. We have different plans for January this year, which is World Carnivore Month, and he's a bit bummed that we won't be sharing dozens of recipes this January, like we have done in Januaries past. So maybe sharing some in December as Vlogmas will help him not miss out so much! <3 Sticky is the best looking, BEST American Hairless Terrier in the world, the cutest, the cockiest, the most personalityiest, and I will die on this hill. He should just win all the prizes and then stud the whole future generation. He's my little CHAMP! :D. Abra is my HAM, Sticky is my CHAMP :D Michael really did enjoy his daily gym walks in Colombia, and I think he enjoyed them even more knowing that you were following along and so interested! He really has missed doing daily vlogs. We have some ideas for January that will probably include more long takes along those lines and he can do more training & rambling vlogs also. He will be so pleased when I told him that you mentioned missing those gym walks! <3 We really enjoyed filming this Q&A, and that was because of the wonderful questions that you & Z left us. I thought the questions were incredibly thoughtful and really showed how much we mean to you, personally. We are so very grateful to know you and have an internet friend here in this RUclips space like you and we both (me especially) look forward every morning to having a cup of coffee and chatting with you. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your wonderful support over all these months, may there be many many years of friendship ahead for all of us!!! <3
From the thumbnail I got really excited! You're so right, the car chats are one of my favorites, the pool chats in Colombia, Abra's last walk of the day, walking to the store or to dinner, when you're just talking to us. And like you said again here, after Memorial may you feel like you are talking directly to us. I mean we don't get the weather report when you're in the car, but it's still fun. 🤣 I loved seeing that it was over an hour long too!! So sorry you forgot the tripod though, felt sorry for you I know that had to start hurting your arms holding the phone for that long. But could tell you both were having fun and having fun thinking about and answering the questions!! When I asked the question about places you wanted to take the vlog to, I tried to word it so it could mean anywhere, here or another country. Was guessing it would be International as I know how much you both love to explore new places abroad. But if you had mentioned a Domestic location, that wouldn't surprise me either. I'm sure there are still places in the 50 States you haven't seen and would like to. Honestly wasn't thinking about Naturist beaches to be honest, although that does make sense. And "Colony" is old school just so you know. They are Resorts or Clubs now. 😉 (The local one is even called a Country Club. LOL) I don't think the long plane ride would bother me as much as it does Michael. But I haven't been on a plane in decades. LOL But never bothered me anyway. Just think that's really the only country I'd consider visiting. Not sure why, but just never been one to want to go to new/different places. Now places I've been to and liked or loved, that's different. 😂 Fingers crossed for nice weather Sunday! Be fun to see the Christmas Parade and Abs too of course. 🥰 The St. Patties Day parade was fun to see, I'm sure this one will be awesome too! I just hope your weather is better than ours. Snowed most of the day today, and VERY cold. It's 17 right now. Sunday we're supposed to warm up to maybe 32 and snow again. LOL It's not sticking around much, mostly flurries and just enough to cover the roads, so people forget how to drive.... 🙃 If you do make over to the UK again, you have to find Z and watch a movie together! Would be so cool to see two videos and three different "reviews". I'm sure you'd both vlog the three of you together and discussing the movie too. Then to watch the two videos, I just think those are so cool! And you don't see that very often, so would really be special for both channels! Mike loves to chat with his subscribers, and appreciates comments left for him! Z and I have had some interesting conversations about the Star wars movies. We had different opinions and explained my thoughts and he understood where I was coming from and why. Said it makes total sense. He's our kind of people and I really enjoy his videos too! And Adventure Leighs would be fun also because it would most likely be Disney related LOL. Abra and Sticky together would be interesting to see. Stick loves ALL dogs, big or small. He just wants to play and thinks they are all his friends. He's so high strung, might scare poor Abra away though. LOL I wonder if Michael has heard of the sugar cream pies? There is a bakery in the town that was hit by the tornado earlier this year up here that makes the best sugar cream pies, they sell them all over the state and I think in some surrounding states. They are extremely rich and taste sooo good! If and when you bring the channel to Indiana, write this down, you'll want to try Wicks Sugar Cream Pie. Along with Cincinnati style Chili, 😉and Pizza King Pizza. And Maybe the Mash Potato Candy Michael talked about too. Which reminds me, we have a pizza place up here that makes a Mashed Potato Pizza too. I know sounds weird right? I thought so to, then tried it. It was really good!! 🥰 Sticky is special isn't he? (Stacey says Special Ed. LOL) Stac found out tonight, that in the first dog show we'll do in Florida is the American Hairless Specialty Show. And there are 96!!! AHT's registered to show!! 96!!! They cut it off at 100 for specialty shows she said. So on day one, lots of competition! ( I had no idea there would be that many AHT's!!) The next day is an Open show, all breeds. Then the AKC Championship is Saturday and Sunday, I don't think we show until Sunday. So maybe Saturday we can go to Playalinda.. Please do tell Michael I do miss his gym walks, both going to and walking back. It really did feel like he was talking to me, sometimes he actually was because of our conversations the day before. ☺ And even before that the morning workout back in Melbourne getting ready for the 24 Hour challenge, and seeing the manatee mural progress. So don't worry, I'll be watching the upcoming video's from both of you as always. 😊 Thank You, Thank you, Thank You!! for the last paragraph. Means the world to me Julie! It really does!! I appreciate the time you both take to chat with not only me and Z, but all of your commenters. Can't wait to sit down and see what you've had to say and get to chat with you each day! And your support as well as Michaels, in my attempts to post videos you might enjoy, really means a lot to me. I think of you two when filming, planning and can't wait to read what you think of them! The Mustang Museum, just wow!! You did that for me. You'll never know how much that touched me that you even considered it, but did it. Thank You my Friend! I wish I could give it 1000 likes! And this video? Just WOW! You were talking to Z and Me and I was smiling the whole time!! Stacey and I loved the Pajama Sticky "talk". 😁 I'm so looking forward to the coming years of our friendship and our Vlogs!!!! 🥰
Good morning, Mustang!! Can you believe I was able to post that behemoth comment yesterday morning without any troubles at all? HAHA classic us, head out to film and then forget half the equipment we need. I still can't half operate the tripod anyway, although Michael's getting really good with it! My arm was okay, we took some breaks and readjusted our positions a couple of times. And we were both having so much fun with the questions, I really barely noticed my arm haha. It showed up the next day but it's all okay!!! <3 HAHA I'm not on board with the new trend of calling them "resorts" or "clubs," those already mean totally different things to some people also looking to go on a nice vacation and maybe not meaning to get into quite that kind of vacation!! :D. I like "colony," although I think a more updated word would be nice, just not one that already exists. There are plenty of "resorts" and "clubs" all over Florida. These kind need a special name! But I wouldn't say there are any "colonies" in Florida that I know of..... *hmmmm emoji that I can't insert on my MacBook LOL* It's 31* here in Charlotte today! We are planning to go out to a local Christmas market today, although it's outdoors, and we definitely won't be there for long!! We are absolutely going to have to go back to Florida and get our coats out of storage if this continues!! We had a really long summer as in it was actually HOT and even on some days sandals-weather, up until about a week ago or so, then the temperature took a nosedive! I'm really enjoying how refreshing it is and Abra LOVES it of course. She comes ALIVE in the chillier weather! We mentioned this in our Q&A video, but Z was the first channel to ever leave us a comment on one of our videos, way back before 2023 when we were just posting on our channel super sporadically. I remember how excited I was that we had the first ever comment!!!! :D. It would be serendipitous if he could also be our first collaboration, although I'm not tech savvy enough to know how to do a video like that from across the pond! We haven't even begun to talk about our next international trips yet, and I'd like to hope we can be in the UK at some point in the near future :) I did ask Michael yesterday about the sugar cream pie and he'd never heard of it! I thought for sure Indiana and Kentucky would have the same types of recipes. I also did not realize that different areas of the country had so many completely different types of menus! I thought Thanksgiving dinner was fairly standard across the country! That's quite a lot of food to try if we're ever in Indiana, I don't know how we could possibly eat that much LOL. Especially since we're pretty boring meat & eggs eaters. If you had to pick just one thing off that list for us to try, what do you think it would be???? :D Holy crap 96 AHT's?!?!?!? I didn't think there were that many AHT's in show business. Or maybe in the WORLD LOL. Holy crap!!!! Do they all have the similar cream & grayish colored speckled markings? I gotta admit, I'm probably the weakest on the terrier group as far as dogs I can recognized & identify. I'm trying to get better and of course I can totally spot an AHT now after seeing so much of Sticky & Freddi. But I don't think I've ever seen an AHT just out & about in real life before outside of TV or google. I feel like they are a super rare breed, so it's shocking to me that there are 96! I'm sure Sticky will kick all of their asses though! He is unique, he is for sure one in a billion!!! :D We are headed out the door now to go to this Christmas market for Vlogmas! I'm trying to get ahead because the Christmas season is going to be soooo crazy busy for us, trying to see both sides of our families and all of our friends and fitting 25 videos in there is going to be a challenge! I've already filmed a couple of them this week to get a jump start on them! :D.
Good Morning Julie!!! I was shocked we both were able to post the long comments, which makes me still wonder why the Museum comment kept getting erased. I even broke it up and posted separate paragraphs, still deleted. 🤷♂ Operate the tripod? Is it the gimble you got? I mean usually tripods just open up and hold the phone. Speaking of that, I found out the software I use to edit, has an app for the iPhones that can give you more control of the video you shoot. And like the software to edit, it's free. (They make their money from selling specialized equipment to film video. Like $6,000 dollar cameras. LOL) But I get it, I can't figure out the new GoPro tripod handle thing that came with the Creator Edition yet. Need to watch more videos I guess. LOL It's not really a new trend, but I understand what you're saying. They really ditched the "colonies" a long ago, most were known as clubs and camps, "colonies" was the media trying to make them sound bad or something they never were. Resorts was more recent as they started getting fancier actually. And most of them say up front what they are anyway. The lady I've chatted with that grew up in one of them, her parents owned the place in Southern Florida, said their place was Named the Seminole Health Club. 🌞 Still cold here of course. Had our family Thanksgiving with my in-laws today. So once again ate way to much. Looks like they took the snow out of our forecast here, but the bitter cold will continue. And Stacey has been looking at the forecast in Florida when we'll be there, said it's going to be chilly. 70's.... LOL I guess I'm surprised Michael hasn't heard of sugar cream pie, I thought it was more of a regional thing than maybe just a Hoosier food. LOL Our Traditional Thanksgiving Day dinner is pretty much what most people have I'm sure. We had turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, deviled eggs, stuffing, rolls... Pumpkin Pie, Apple pie, Sweet Potato Pie... No wonder we ate too much... Hmmmm, well if I had to pick just one, it wouldn't be the Chili as Michael already told us how he doesn't like it. LOL The one thing that EVERYONE who comes back home for a visit has to have is the pizza. Pepperoni Feast with Extra Cheese. Either that or the Royal Feast which I'm guessing you two wouldn't want, has onions, peppers, mushrooms.... I prefer the Pepperoni Feast. There are Pizza Kings all over the state, but the best ones are the specially decorated ones called Clara's Pizza King. Yeah 96!! We we're shocked too! Stacey said you can bring and show as many different dogs in the specialty show, so like we could show Freddi and Sticky there, but Freddi isn't registered, or going. Kathy is bring several of her AHT's. But during the Championship over the weekend you can only have one of the breed to show. You can show other breeds, but just one of each. It looks like there are over 6000 dogs registered for the big show. Yes usually most of the AHT's are spotted and the same colors. I haven't seen a whole lot of them, but even the one that showed at the Philadelphia show this past week, the one that was on TV Thursday, looked just like Freddi. Sticky has a lot more of the darker gray and black that she does. And I've seen some colored like him too. They really do look a lot like Rat Terriers as that where the breed came from, just without any fur. I still find it strange how our two are so different from each other. Freddi's so lovey, likes to be held, and Sticky is just the opposite. He just has too much to do and not enough time to do it all. LOL Hope you had fun at the Christmas Market!!
Gooooooooood Sunday Morning, Mustang!!!!! :D. Sorry yes, didn't mean to cause confusion, we are calling our Gimble the "Tripod" these days. I have more or less completely given up learning how to use it, I think I'm just not smart enough LOL. Michael usually can use it very well but he doesn't go out filming as much as I do where he's moving & walking around. So we're pretty much using it for a glorified tripod these days, to set up while we film around the house. We planned to use it in the Jeep for the Q&A but of course forgot to bring it with us. Quality content coming from these 2 right here LOL :D. I would love an app that stabilizes my phone footage. We've talked about getting a nicer camera sometime down the road that stabilizes footage when you walk etc, but I really think I'm having too much fun making videos as it is using my phone. It's so effortless & easy, I always have my phone with me, it's not heavy, I don't have to carry extra things, etc... HAHA 70's! We had such a nice long warm summer here in NC, then we were hanging out in the 70's for awhile... then it took a nosedive! It's 30* right now. Neither one of us are prepared for this but man Abra LOVES it! When are you guys headed to Florida? Should be one day now soon right, isn't it early in December? Ooooooh that pizza sounds right up our alley, heavy on the meat & cheese! Michael is the classic pepperoni pizza kind of guy. I like pineapples! Is it deep dish? We really like a light or thin/crispy New York style pizza the best, although for the experience & the vlog, we would probably try about anything "when in Rome"... :) I'm so excited to see your pups at the show!!!! :D
Happy Thanksgiving guys!! Thank you for answering my questions and this was an awesome Q&A. I’d love if you guys came to the uk, it’d be great to meet you both 🙂 In the uk, I’m based around Newcastle, around 2 hours from Manchester lol
Just so you know, I was looking forward to hearing their answers to your questions too! Be awesome if they could connect with you and do multi-channel "fan greet" video, see it from both of your perspectives. I've seen a few of those and would love to watch you commenting on their subject and Michael and Julie commenting on yours, even if its a movie or book review. LOL Keeping my fingers crossed for that to happen! 🤞
Hello Z!!!!!! Julie here <3. Thank you for the well wishes, Thanksgiving here in the U.S. was really great for us this year. We ate too much as always but are feeling so blessed and grateful for the wonderful family & friends in our lives, which is what the holiday is supposed to be all about <3. We had a really great time answering your questions, you asked some GOOD ones!!!! :D. It's been so fun growing our channel and seeing yours grow also and staying in touch here on RUclips. I'm SO sorry we got your town wrong!! Please chalk it up to ignorance haha. I'm not really familiar with much in England outside of London and Manchester, and for some reason I thought you had mentioned Manchester in one of your videos I watched a long, long time ago! That was totally my error. I've never even heard of Newcastle! This is precisely why I was saying in our video, I'd love to see more of your town and area and get to learn about your corner of the world!!! If we ever make it back to the UK, we would love to see you and do something fun together. Maybe go see the Wicked show in London or the national tour, if you have that, and review it together, or another movie we could all watch at the same time. We're not as good at reviews as you are but it would totally be fun to collab with you. Hopefully we do cross paths one day!!! :D. Thank you again for all of your support and kind words. We appreciate you as our very first RUclips friend!! <3
Hey guys, I wanted to wish you a happy Thanksgiving, too. Congratulations on a major milestone. Best of luck with all of it. I hope more people stumble upon you. Cheers!
Hi there!! Thank you so much for the kind words & encouragement!! We are having a lot of fun making videos and always hope that people will enjoy them, and we were thrilled to hit the 1,000 milestone. Happy holidays to you too, wherever you may be in the world! Comments like this truly brighten our day, thank you 💙💙💙
A work in progress… Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Hi Rich! You aren't kidding, this cemetery has come a long way since we saw it last about a month ago. But it's so good to see the city taking responsibility to clean it up again. Hope you & your family are having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!!! 🤎🤎🤎
The view of Barranquilla from your apartment is awesome!
Hi there!! Yes we thought that view was amazing!! Once, close to the end of our trip, we saw an entire rainbow all the way across the city skyline and both ends of the rainbow. That was so incredible. Barranquilla is such a beautiful city and we have missed Colombia dearly since we came back to the States. 💛💙❤️
@@michaelandjulie wellcome to Barranquilla forever. Bye👋🏼
Adiós, amigo!!!!! 💛💙❤️ 🇨🇴 💛💙❤️
While it was probably just a coincidence that The Channel was there a couple of weeks ago, and now the County has someone out there cleaning it up after 5 years, but I'm willing to bet a few quarters, someone somehow saw that video and thought, "Hey we need to clean that up." 😁😉 What is important of course is it's getting the attention it deserves right? You will have to do a video on the Find a grave app Julie, be interesting to see how it works and we've already seen some of the sites you would have missed without it, so it's definitely worth it! Oh and I think we can put the AGE question to rest, it was giving the person age on the marker. Took us awhile but we did figure it out, this Good News video proved it!
Good morning, Mustang!!! I hope you & Stacey had an awesome Thanksgiving yesterday!! Today is Black Friday, which is traditionally the day Michael & I do our Christmas cards for all of our friends & family. It keeps us out of the shopping/traffic/spending too much money unnecessarily/madness, and we like to reflect on the people we saw yesterday and the good times & conversation we had. I think our cards turn out the best when we're riding high on the sugar rush and good feelings and it keeps us out of Black Friday trouble haha! I was sooooo pleased to see the city cleaning up this cemetery. You remember, it was a disaster back in October!!! I wasn't planning to go back to it until my friend wanted to use the Find a Grave app to document some tombstones, and what a random coincidence that the city was finally there to clean up! I just didn't feel right not sharing that good news with the channel after how bummed out we were to see the mess the cemetery was last month. Heart warming that it got the "spruce up" that it needs. (My Christmas puns are busting out, it's tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime! haha). Now if only they would tackle that overgrown monument to Lt Col George Locke!!! <3
Hi Julie!!! Thank You, my In-Laws were sick so we had our dinner here at home and then went to my Mothers for desert, she made an Awesome Apple Pie, and like you two, ate too much. LOL But it is the one day we're supposed to do that right? 🤓 I had to work Friday, it's what the city calls a minor Holiday, but you earn Paid time off when you work a minor holiday. Days I'm saving for the trip to Florida, will also work Christmas Eve. ( I work the same days our City Buses are running, as I work for the Transportation Department.) We always tied to avoid Black Friday too, and now you can order stuff online and avoid the folks at the stores. LOL Still think it was a interesting coincidence that soon after you and Michael visited the cemetery, the city/county just happened to clean it up. Not that it matters, it's getting cleaned up, which is important. And it was really cool that you and your friend just happened go there when they were cleaning it up. Maybe you and your pal should check up on Col. Locke's monument. 😉
Next time I'm over on that side of town, I will for sure check in on our friend & hero Col Locke! ❤️🤍💙
👍
watched it all the way to the end, shoutout the Grammarly commercials!
Hi there thank you so much!! Hahah these commercials are nuts, I wonder how RUclips selects who gets what ads 😂
Like 2 👍 Hello from Naples, Florida. Very interesting, indeed. We enjoyed. Thanks for sharing with us, have a great week 👍 💯 ❤
Hi guys!! Thank you so much, super happy you enjoyed the video!!!!! ❤️🤍💙
We started using butter over margarine years ago, and olive oil instead of vegetable oil in the last 10-15 years or so ago. Stacey has always liked them better. I like that there are studies showing this "heart healthy" junk isn't what they claimed it was. This is a cool series Michael, learning a lot. Thank You!!👍
Hey Rocky! Thank you for the very nice comment. I wanted to do this series because I wanted to help other people open their eyes to the misconceptions about nutrition and the lies being propagated in marketing. After almost 3 years of taking nutrition into our own hands and realizing that food can be used as medicine, all we are trying to do is share it with anyone who comes on our page because this research is not always easy to find or accessible to everyone. That's the biggest tragedy. So even if I can only help one person with these videos then it was more than worth the time & effort. Great to hear from you as always!
Hey Michael!! I'm glad you are doing this series, because like you said, there is very little and hard to find information on this subject. This is going up against Billions upon Billions of dollars that could be lost if the truth about their products were widely known. Not to mention the "Side Effects" and the industries that exist to combat them. Diet companies, Pharma, advertising companies pushing the products, the list goes on. I'm sure most of these products were started with good intentions, but once you're "all in", it takes a major event to occur to force them to back away, admit to the mistake like Olean and Aspartame which they still fight last I heard. I've been hearing bad things about Red Dye 2-3-40, yellow 5 for years, but do people know this? Believe it? The fat free industry has been going on for as long as I can remember, yet the health problems, weight issues, continue to get worse. But it's really no different than continuing to vote in the same party every election, and expecting a different outcome, this time. 😑 Hopefully your series will open some eyes, even if its just one person, although I'm sure it will be many more!!
Hey Rocky! I could not have said it better myself and I agree with all your points. Let's hope that some eyes get opened in the next few years with the new level of accountability that the Pharma industry is facing. It's sad to realize that even looking at the front and back of food labels is not enough. You have to go to the ingredient list now. The whole "truth in advertising" thing that came about in the 1980's is still kind of a joke 40ish years later. I am just thankful that technology is advancing today and allows people the opportunity to learn more, although that's at their own risk depending on what sources they trust. Glad you're enjoying the series. It means a lot to me that you're so engaged in the series. I wasn't sure if it would be interesting to others. There will be 2 more in my series, one tomorrow and one in December. 💪🏻💙
Thanks Michael! And I think you and I think a lot alike so when you do touch on subjects like this, we both dig deeper in what is put out and don't always trust the first thing we're told. From your back ground you and Julie have mentioned over time, I know you know how to research and come up with solutions, other ways, something that you feel will work better. Julie's fabulous news from New York is a perfect example of you doing this! I had no doubt you would do whatever it would take, and you did. I saw the look on your face when she was talking. It meant the world to me to hear and see how this is turning out. So Glad you two found each other and work together like you do. So When Michael talks, I listen cause that man KNOWS what he's talking about!! I'll keep watching my friend, count on it! And most of all, Thank You Michael!!
Hi Julie!! Pretty cool how you just found out about LTC Parker by accident, and you were going to shoot the other accidental find, the Black Boys. That just goes to show, you're thinking ahead and thinking about "idea" all the time! So Glad they put his Medal of Honor on his marker and did it correctly. Has been one of my pet peeves for as long as I can remember when especially in movies and TV shows, it's called the Congressional Medal of Honor.... (I guess that makes it sound more "official" but congress are our servants/representatives, not our leaders as they all seem to think of themselves...) There are only around 3500 Medal of Honor Honoree's, I'm glad you found another one and enjoyed this video!!
Good morning Mustang!! Wasn't this just the greatest find?? I was so excited to share it and it's perfect that the video happened to fall in November too, right after the Veterans series. I agree with you, as elected officials who WORK FOR US, any attempt to "overlord" our achievements is just not cute. I didn't realize Congressional was inappropriate in front of the title of the medal, but I'm happy to know now if it is and will try to watch carefully that I don't say that. You're right, it's been popularized in TV and movies for so long, it sounds natural. I wish I had the time and ability to look through all the cemeteries around here and help resurrect some hero stories. This one was just so unexpected and that made it all the more special. What a hero!! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
I use to live in stone creek ranch in Charlotte NC. I decided to sell my house in stone creek ranch and at 45 years old i retired to Medellin Colombia 3 years ago. How was tour trip to Colombia did you enjoy your visit. I love Medellin the weather is perfect
Hi there!! Julie here. I had to look up where Stone Creek Ranch is in Charlotte.. looks like it's in Ballentyne, maybe near what they call Waverly now? It's a nice area but the traffic is definitely getting worse by the day and we agree we would love to be able to do the same thing you did! We absolutely loved every minute of our time living in Colombia!! We vlogged every single day, if youre curious to go through our videos and see some of our travels. We were there for 2.5 months, primarily living in Barranquilla where my sister in law's family lives. But we also spent time in Tayrona, Cartegena, San Pelayo, and we went to Minca multiple times. But sadly there was just never time in those 2+ months to make it to Medellin. I've heard sooo many good things about Medellin and it's definitely on our bucket list!! The country was just so beautiful, the people were sooo nice even with our language barrier, and it was all such a refreshing change from the US. We are missing Colombia dearly and hope to come back sometime soon, it does feel like another home away from home!! 🇨🇴 💛💙❤️
Very informative ❤
Thank you!! So happy that you enjoyed 🩷🩷🩷
I was watching this one when you posted the Mustang video, soooooo.... But now back to this one. You didn't get anything wrong that I noticed. He did drive different numbers in the beginning of his career, 2 and 15 but once he got the 3, it became his. After his death, RCR, which owned the number in NASCAR, semi retired it until the cars/number owner, Richard Childress, gave it to his grandson Austin Dillon. After Sr.'s death, they changed the cars number to 29. Dale Sr. was a master on the restrictor plate tracks. It was like he could see the wind and knew like no one else how to drive at Daytona and Talladega. These two tracks are the longest tracks in the sport at 2.5 miles and 2.66 miles. The banking in the corners mean you didn't have to slow down for the corners and speeds were getting extremely fast. Bill Elliot did a lap at Talladega at over 212 MPH. NASCAR needed to slow the cars down for safety reasons. Imagine 43 cars going down the highway going over 200 MPH. They put what was called a restrictor plate on top of the engines carburetor to restrict airflow into the engine and reduced its power. It also meant they couldn't accelerate as quickly either, but they still raced pretty fast sometimes still being able to hit 190 MPH. Daytona though was always a thorn in his side. He won every race there except the biggest stock car race in history, the Daytona 500. He lead, dominate the 500 until the end when something would go wrong. Even people who didn't like him, cheered when he finally took the checkered flag in 1999, 50th NASCAR Anniversary Year 500. ALL of the teams lined up on pit road to shake his hand after the race. Was the only time I ever cheered for a Chevy to win too. LOL
GOOOOOOOOOOD morning, Mustang!!!!! I guess your big comment never appeared on the Mustang video, but I'm guessing that's because you had so much to say, RUclips just couldn't handle it all HAHA :D. It's okay. I'm so sick & tired of losing comments, it's unreal. I had one to you get lost last week remember? It's sooo frustrating. I like my comments to be on the fly. Feels too much like scripting or trying to recreate my comment to go back and leave a second long one :(. I appreciate the tips and I'm so glad you didn't catch any errors in my script! I only had a few minutes of footage to work with, and I quickly realized that there is soooooo WAYYYYYYYY SOOOOOOO much information online about DESr, and I was going to have to pick and choose what to include in the video for time's sake. I ended up mostly using his wikipedia page and website but there was just so much more that I left out, most of it because I didn't really understand it all. That's so interesting the extra information you provided about how he could read the conditions and drive so much better/faster than the others on the track with him. I recognize that he was one of a kind and tops in his field. I really wish I could be more interested in racing just for the sake of how much history is here in North Carolina. I'm definitely going to try to go visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame Museum for history's sake. But I just can't sit and watch a race.. it's just too much loopdeloops and not enough anything else LOL.
Good Morning Julie!!!!!, well it's nighttime so Good evening Julie!!! LOL I did some research on why YT deletes comments, links or websites of course, certain words, too many emoji's, really?? Or too long. But I tried breaking it up and posting four separate comments and every one was deleted. No "bad" words, or very many emoji's, lots of Thank Yous!!! Maybe you've seen the "comment" video I made? I just copied it, like always, and screen shot the copy. My father was big into racing when we were growing up, we tagged along and it interested me too. Stacey was a lot like you, no desire, made no sense to her. After my father passed away, she went along and actually started to enjoy being at the races. Still couldn't watch them on TV though. LOL Started to understand the strategies, had a favorite driver, looked forward to going to the next race. Works for some people not others. They changed a lot of the rules and cars after Dale and some others were killed. Most of the rules made sense, but some were just too much, that and the cheating going on. Kinda lost interest for a few years. Never gave up on racing in general, just didn't follow it along like we did. Still miss the old days with the big names of the sport. It's mostly young kids now. LOL
Good morning, Mustang!!!! Ao ChatGPT doesn't have answers for why the comments are disappearing either?? 😔. I hate this so much! I saw one of your videos posted yesterday was a written response to the Mustang Museum video!! I didn't have time to read it at that time because Michael & I were sharing the laptop to upload things, so will hopefully have time to check it out today!! I'm very excited to hear your thoughts!!!!! ❤️🖤❤️
I saw there were a few videos on here with people discussing why comments get deleted. Certain words trigger an automatic delete, some phrases, length, but none of them really fit what’s happened to us. I mean we post, gets deleted, then repost an exact copy and it stays up. Other times, also gets deleted. Makes no sense at all. Yeah it frustrating watching and commenting on a video, only for the comment to get deleted. But I expected it would happen on the museum video as it is rather long. 🤓 But it’s “my” video you made for me, and I wanted to show you how much I appreciated and enjoyed what you did!🥰 Then my comment is gone!! Had to do something to show you I did actually comment. 🤓. I was really watching this video when the Museum video was posted. I stopped this one clicked over and smiled the whole time watching it. (Even told Stacey you made me a special video!!!)
Awww I'm so happy you liked my Mustang video so much!!! I'm smiling ear to ear so big right now reading your comment. I really did enjoy the museum a lot and it was so special to go visit it with you in mind. Hope you saw some beauts in there! Michael & I are about to film our answers to the Q&A questions here in a few minutes so we will be shouting you out again in that video!!!!! 🐎💨❤️🖤
😁
I hope you liked the museum!! 🐎❤️🖤
Well of course my LOOOOOONG comment was deleted. 😡 I saved it, lets see if it posts this time!
Nope, deleted again!
I've attempted to repost the long comment several times, it keeps getting deleted, or just not showing up. So if it suddenly appears several times, you know why. Grrrrr. To answer your question, the 200 Cubic Inch "6" means it's a 6 Cylinder engine. The "standard" engine is today's Mustangs are 2.3 Liter 4 Cylinder engines. The optional engine now is a 5 Liter, 307 Cubic Inch Coyote engine. That's what we have in our Convertible. The Force!
I loved the video Julie!!! 🥰🥰🥰 Watched it twice now! Hopefully my long comment does show up eventually!!
So cool to see Mari and Marshall again!!! Just hearing Mari’s voice again brings back lots of fun video memories!! Marshall sure knows how to climb, that’s for sure, can see where his nickname came from. 🤣 He took off on the first one Michael had problems with, no problem at all. That was fun to watch. Have never really seen the climbing wall places before. 😊
Goooooooooo morning, Mustang!!! 🐎. Yes we were so happy to see M&M again and bring them back to the vlog!!!! They've been traveling a lot since we left Colombia and our paths have only crossed a few times. Seemed like forever since we had gotten together with them. They are climbing fiends. Actually they are headed to climb the New River gorge all week this week! We wish we could go along with them, but "all of our gear is in storage in Florida." 😂🤣😭. That's becoming like our famous last words here 😂😂😂😂😂
I mean I know why you stored most of your belongings in Florida, but I'm beginning to think that's where you both want to be, even though family is further up north. 😉LOL Was awesome to see your lil bro and Mari again! I could tell they loved climbing, is that something he taught her or was she a climber growing up like he was? This was fun to watch!
Hi Mustang! Yes we miss Florida a lot, everyday, especially when it's cold here!! But we are loving being so close to family and old friends. We're for sure staying here until after the holidays, but don't really know what we might do in 2025. Marshall has been a rock climber since he was a kid, maybe around his teenage years, although he didn't climb regularly. I don't think Mari had ever climbed before meeting him, but they didn't really get into climbing passionately like they do now until 2020. The 4 of us were going out to the mountains almost every weekend, and they really took off loving it! Michael & I quit climbing when we moved to Florida but they've kept it up ever since. They've been climbing all over the world at this point! Rock 🧗 🧗♀️ 🧗♂️
Well they certainly are good at it this video proved that! And it's Very hard to find mountains in Florida, so understand why you and Michael stopped while living there. 😂🤣😂🤣
HAHAHAHAHA the only mountains in Florida are the trash dumps, and that's litter-ally the truth!!!!!!!!! LOL
That’s a very interesting story. Brave young men who decided to fight for what they felt was right and actually did something. Pretty cool they were able to finally come out of hiding after the county gave their Declaration of Independence, 😉 even though it was ignored for a year. Love little stories like this!
Hi Mustang!!! Yep I really loved this story and was especially excited to share it on my channel. I had never heard of the Cabarrus County Black Boys before. A few weeks back, I went over to the next town of Concord to film their historic buildings & architecture for you, and noticed this fountain while I was there. I read the plaque and got a few seconds of footage of it, then came home and looked it up later. I ended up liking the story so much I had to go back to film the fountain again because I didn't have enough footage to tell the story! Of course then as luck would have it, my story was so long, I had to use the footage I took twice!!! :D LOL! Classic. Anyway, I really enjoyed learning this little piece of history. If it weren't for this fountain, I probably would have never heard about these heroes. I really believe there's a lost chance for an awesome Hollywood movie here with their story! Make it something "The Patriot" -esque? It's scary to think how easily stories like this get lost to time and how something as mundane as a fountain can help propel the story into the future... I am so freaking proud of my state, city, county, the more I learn these days, the more I am just bursting with pride at the seams. We were WAY ahead of our time back in those days!!!!! :D. These are deep thoughts for someone who's only had a few sips of coffee...
Hi Julie!!!! Yep very deep thoughts for just a few sips of coffee. LOL But you're still very correct, and you should be proud of the place of where you were born. There is so much history in the area, you couldn't possibly cover it all, but love how you find these little not well known stories and bring them to life like you do! I agree this would make an interesting movie, but wonder if who ever wouldn't change it to make it more modern as it seems the stories from the 1700's don't seem to go over as well as more modern times. I'd still rather see it as a correct time frame, these young kids taking on the British Empire?? Sign me up!
That would be so epic!! I'd love another great movie like The Patriot. It's for sure not a perfect movie, but it really makes you feel some pride in your country again. I feel like we all need some more of that feeling to bring us together again ❤️🤍💙
I agree. I'm sure you remember what it was like back in September of 2001 and how this country felt back then, even though you were a youngster at the time. It's shocking to see the changes that started just a few years after that and the direction some Americans have turned. Back then, people were flying the American flag everywhere. Today, some people see it as a hate symbol. So very sad. ❤🤍💙😢
I really like how “Modern” the museum looks, lighting, displays, really looks 21st century to me. While watching, I wondered how they got Sulleys plane to Charlotte. I’d assume they removed the wings then re-attached, but imagine it was still some task getting it from New York to North Carolina. We sure have come a long way since Kitty Hawk haven’t we? 😊
You're not kidding!! I remember visiting Kitty Hawk as a young kid, and wow was I underwhelmed. I'll probably get canceled for saying this, but I basically came away from the experience feeling like the Wright brothers more or less flew a giga-kite off a large sand dune and skidded across the water to a stop. Like parasailing, more or less. I was probably 8 or 9 years old so don't hate on me for saying that. As an adult I realize what an impressive feat they accomplished. But at the time, it really didn't sound like anything remotely cooler than what I could look out across the beach and see dozens of people doing, flying kites LOL. I think their plane was more sophisticated than a kite, but it didn't leave a lasting impression on me then. I've never been back to Kitty Hawk or much of the northern half of the Outer Banks since and it's all definitely on my bucket list. That's a great point about how did they get the plane here to Charlotte. It's always so funny to me, I try SO FREAKING HARD to think of everything and include it in my script, and then you come along and ask such great questions, and I'm stumped why I didn't think to wonder that too!!! I was more inquisitive about the little schoolhouse that we took you to (do you remember? The one that had been turned into an auto garage at some point and still had oil stains on the floor?), I was more inquisitive how did we transport a whole schoolhouse across town, than I was how did we transport a busted plane across hundreds of miles! Great question, and sadly I don't have the answer for this. I'll have to look that up at some point when I have more caffeine in me!!! :D
Kitty Hawk has always been on my Bucket List as well, if just to say I've been there. After learning what little I know about the Wright Brothers, and their history up here, going to school in the city I was born in, the bicycle shop in Ohio, and of course the "First Flight", just some place I'd like to be able say I've been there. Too many things and places on that bucket list though, maybe someday right? It's funny, Stacey has said I think about things too much. LOL I guess that's my engineers brain, I don't know. But it does come in handy from time to time. As I was looking at the plane in this video, all of sudden I just wondered how they got it there. Some times when aircraft are given to museums, they fly them to the location or close and take them out of service. Sometimes, take them apart transport and rebuild. But this plane, I mean obviously couldn't fly and would they tear it apart only to "rebuild it" again? I guess they could have of course but just wondered. I know, I know I think too much... 🤣
That was a great question though. I didn't rven think to wonder how they did it. I did look it up, and it says they let it float downriver to a pier in New Jersey, where they tethered it for some days until a moving company called J Supor and Son was able to come in & contract to move it to what was then just known as the Charlotte Aviation Museum. I don't think it was on display for many years though, I'm pretty sure it's only recently been placed here for viewing. Also I didn't specifically see any information on exactly HOW it got moved here, just lots of praise for the moving contractors. Maybe they keep their secrets 😬
Well the river answers part of the question, but after that it's a big secret I guess. Oh well, doesn't hurt to ask questions right? 😉
you could always do a deep dive and make a video in case anyone else has questions!!! :D
I’m not into NASCAR but I too remember all those headlines around his death at the Daytona Beach Speedway
Hi Rich!! I was still pretty young and had never watched any NASCAR before, but I do remember the headlines dominating the news and papers about that time. It was so sad and really stuck with me. I never realized he was born, raised, and lived so close to where I am in North Carolina though & I'm very proud we can claim him as one of our own!!! ❤️🖤❤️
Saying "Indigenous" and "Native" together makes no sense. You're saying "The Native Native Americans". What? Just call the Indigenous Americans or Indians..
Hello there! I apologize that you found the way I was speaking confusing or offensive, and that was certainly not my intention. I have tried very hard to learn through social media what some of the true Native people who have platforms and speak out about their culture would like to be called; and I've found that it certainly varies from person to person and there is no one blanket term that is accepted by all. Some are proud to be referred to as "Native Americans," others do not like the term "American" imposed on them as this word came over with the Europeans. The same applies to the term "Indians." As there are no descendants of the Ais tribe left to speak out, we will never know how they would want to be referred to in today's culture. I truly never mean to offend or spread misinformation and I do my best to follow the direct quotes from whatever sources that I'm using (all links are in the description box). I would very much appreciate being educated on how I've referred to anyone if you have a reliable source you could link. Thank you for watching!
Hi guys! I’d like to ask some questions if this hasn’t been done yet: 1. What made you start a RUclips channel? Where did the inspiration come from? 2. Have you ever been to the uk / would you visit? 3. Since moving to daily vlogging, what keeps you motivated to film your days? 4. Would you guys do more movie reviews if you go to the cinema? 5. Do you have any traditions that aren’t around a holiday?
Hi Mike!! Julie here. These are some really great & thoughtful questions, thank you so much for asking them! I'll hold onto them and not answer them here in this comment so we can use them in our Q&A. We're planning to film it sometime early next week and then post it on Thanksgiving Day, which is Thursday November 28th here in the United States. We're excited to film it, thank you so much for participating!!! :D
