SOMETIME EVEN OUR OWN FAMILIES ARE NOT THAT SUPPORTIVE & IT IS SUCH A BLESSING WHEN YOU FIND FRIENDS WHO ARE JUST LIKE YOUR FAMILY. GOD BLESS YOU & YOUR NEW HOME & MAKE SURE TO THANK GOD FOR FRIENDS LIKE KEVIN & HIS FAMILY! :)
I'm so glad you'll be an Arizonian lol. I live in Apache Junction. I've been watching your videos for about 5 or more yrs. Congrats on your new place and tiny house. One of my favorite shows is Tiny House Nation. I live in a park model b4 my RV. So ya! I like tiny homes
Eric, what I love about you is that you always have a great smile (well, most of the time)! You just experience life to its fullest, and it's always fun watching what you're up to!
Ok I’m going to check out Kevin’s channel and the shed people. I’m loving all the changes. I too live in a tiny house. Mine is 12x20. I love it. Remember this inside build up not out. Whatever you can have built to store things up more floor area. I’m always coming up with ideas to add to my walls. Your creative so you will have it looking great. Stay safe. Oh yea Opie really knows how to get your heart. Love that cutie.
Great news regarding your tiny house! YEP,,, only one arrow is left! I think age creaped up on them and rotted away. Saw that earlier this way on the way to Nebraska. Very sad….I’m almost 71 yrs old, and I remember the Twin Arrows as a child while on the way to visiting my grandparents. Guve the kitties hugs from me!
👏👏 ERIC, TARA, AND 0PIE. I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU. IT'S AWESOME TO HAVE , YOUR FRIENDS AS NEIGHBORS. 💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘. ALSO ALL THE NOMADS, NEED A BASE CAMP. IN THE TIME WE ARE GOING THOUGHT. 💯💯💯
Very cool Eric...... Glad for you! Food for thought..... And I'm sure you have some kind of plan BUT you might take it easy on what you put in there before you move it to your new land, because with everything you talking about putting in there I'm afraid it will be way too heavy to move to your new location. Just a thought, might check into that aspect of it! Hate to see you have to unload it all again when it's time to move! But I know your so HAPPY, everyone can tell..... Your just bubbling with excitement and that's cool to see! Enjoy it, you lucky lucky guy!
Good for you Eric! My opinion, it's best to have friends as neighbors for support in good and bad times. And a great bunch of friends you have. Very blessed. Good move!
I watched the the delivery on Kevins blog yesterday. I started watching him when you were talking about him when he was fighting cancer. You and Kevin two of my favorite people to watch.
Who knows perhaps another 'good deal' for a shed will open that will allow you to have a 'add-on' garage or storage. Please make sure your shed is mouse tight because field mice that like to come in for the winter would love getting close and comfy with your Mickey Mouse collection. I hope you will be able to insulate it while it's still empty, a lot easier now than later. Your "BIG BLUE" is cool. Enjoy all the possibilities, stay safe !
And he's paying to store things that aren't even able to be enjoyed, because they're just in storage. Sell it all! Go minimalist, and be free from stuff.
Oh good, you’re coming back to Illinois! We really need the rain! So I mentioned “blue acres” making a play at Greenacres but also “Blue Angel Ranch” isn’t bad. Oh, and your discussion about chickens, they are a lot of work, and really the travel! We have had many of them. Also, you don’t want a rooster, but only, female (hens).
I absolutely love the color. You and Kevin are such kind hearted people. it's great to see good friends having good times and helping each other out. Safe travels.
The idea of using the 75 inch tv as a brace for boxes behind it will damage the tv screen. Please go get a thin plywood board cut to the same size of the tv or bigger as a backing to the tv to protect the tv from pressure that can damage the screen as they did not build those tv's to allow anything to be against the plastic back or front!!!
I really like everything you do and have been following you for years. I do have one suggestion though. You mentioned "bungying" in your TV to hold the boxes back. That statement made me nervous because if your load shifts then it will push out stretching the bungy cords more and more thus perhaps breaking. I would suggest a dynamic rope or webbing, "something that does not stretch at all". I would hate to see the video of you explaining why your large screen tv broke loose using bungy cords.
Ok Eric, I'll play devil's advocate here. You're making all these plans (that's really great) but what happens if the closure is delayed or doesn't go through? If you load all your stuff in the shed it will be so much harder for the movers to get the shed to your property and placed. It might damage the floors or you might have to empty everything out before they can move it. What a bummer, having to move everything two or three times. Been there, done that! I know you want to have all your stuff in one place but give yourself some time to get ready for the stuff before going to Illinois pick it up. I'm just thinking about how much stress you'll be under if things don't go well. Give yourself a little time, take one step at a time and you'll get there. Good luck putting it all together.
Sounds like you have a plan. I'm sure you already know this but friendly reminder doesn't hurt. Instead of using boxes you might want to consider using storage totes to keep mice, spiders, scorpions & snakes out of your stuff and don't leave your cushions for long or you might have some new unwanted roommates the mice will build nests in them. 🐀🐭🕷🦂🐍😱 Btw love the new Blue house.
Eric! I'm so excited to see what you will be doing to the tiny blue house/shedd. I'm thinking about doing this and just an idea here......put a deck in front of that door big enough to sit and put your hot tub on. 💡Stay safe on the road.
Dang it Eric! 😆 Missed you again, I'm in show low taken care of my mom's estate, was hoping to run into you maybe buy you lunch, I'll be heading back to Indiana Tuesday Evening maybe I'll catch you somewhere on the road.. I'll meet you one day dang it! Lol
I see some exciting times ahead 😁, safe travels to Illinois and back..you've got plenty of time after you get everything to Arizona to get things the way you want them.. can't wait to watch the progress..🙏👍🤗
You must have an awful lot of "stuff" It gives me a headache lol. I`ve done the exact opposite unloaded 90% after collecting for 63 years. A load off my shoulders.
way too much stuff for being a nomad he actually uses a large unit set up for doing auto detailing for a storage facility for his stuff . I Like Eric but He is fighting within himself and nobody seems to be telling him to stop trying to buy happiness .
Look at the smile on your face and the excitement in yourself! Awesome to see you happy! Sounds like you got a great deal on the cancelled building. It is always great to dream gives us something to work towards. Safe travels with your moving!!
Eric I am incredibly happy that you have land coming, have a tiny house and will be close to friends - I can't wait to see how you thrive in that environment.
Oh Erik, Opie is just the sweetest kitty! I love how he continually shows his tender heart. Love the new shed and love the color! Way too much brown already in the desert! Safe travels. Looking forward to seeing your new place up and running with your little house all snug and “ tucked in”! 💖👍👍😽😺🙏🏠🇺🇸
Son excited for you Eric. I’ve watched how challenging have been for you this year and was getting you down. It looks you reconnecting with friends and being part of a like minded community has recharged your batteries. I am going to keep watching because I am interested in what you will do with your property.
I am sooo happy for you. It is so nice of Kevin to do that for you. Good times and great friends. Really happy for you. It is a great investment you will enjoy over time.
14’6 but just eats me that 100% of the items in that store were delivered by a truck driver that most likely is just looking for a place to get a couple hours of sleep after being on the road for long hours to making sure they get there items And yet can’t park there for a few hours to go to sleep.
The shed is my favorite color and will make a great tiny house. It's awsome to see you having so much fun. Something to be said about Opie riding up front.
Congrats on the new diggs. In my experience, these sheds come very minimally rigged for water. I suggest pouring some concrete piers or a slab for foundation with a decent drain underneath The reason why your last investment property had issues, it had no drainage. Drainage first, then build. Apple drains has great videos on RUclips how to do drainage yourself.
Also gutters and downspouts will help drive water away from the shed. Making it last for decades and keeping contents low humidity and no mold when it rains.
Not only that. Dave Whipple , he was on alone... He shows very cheap methods to build foundations on his channel as well as A girl in the woods . I would do a heavy husky 15mm vapor barrier under the slab or under and around the concrete piers.
My favorite kind of drainage system for under foundations is French drain. They do great. You can get a giant pool noodle looking thing from home Depot that will save you thousands long term. Hard work to install, but last our entire lives.
Eric...buy yourself a metal shipping container(as small as 21' long) for your property...can be very secure and great storage, then that frees up your wood shed(tiny house wink, wink) for your living space....that way you can really store securely while you travel - including your prized possessions - MOTORCYCLES and TRACTOR(lol)!!!
So happy for you Eric!!! Things are all coming together for you now. Love to see you and Kevin together and the silliness . Great friends ! Both of your channels are great !!! Stay safe on your travels-
Be careful with your collection Eric you know how destructive those critters are in Arizona. A pack rat could eat thru your entire collection in a day.
Eric you used to do those parts where you say I will get back to you tomorrow then cut back in the morning with a hot cup of coffee speaking about how bad or good you slept and whether it was a cold night or not. I really miss those.
You've got a million things on your mind right now but have you considered building a foundation for your blue bird? Not sure if you are allowed to but a cinder block foundation could give you a basement. The way it was easily moved around made me think of lowering it onto bricks. Something to think about.
Great friend in KVC to provide a temporary space for you. Such excitement from you. Great to see ! Looking forward to seeing your improvements. All the best as you move forward.👍
Seems like it would be alot cheaper to buy a plane ticket and fly back to where your shop is located and rent a big truck to drive back with most or all of your stuff in a single trip. Both in gas ⛽ , mileage, and wear and tear on the rv. That's going to be a lot of driving back and forth doing it this way.
Yep, saw the arrow late August on a road trip with my daughter taking her to school. I noticed only one arrow as we drove by on the highway. Didn't see the other arrow on the ground.

Move the class A out there and put it up on blocks for a cabin to stay in when you are there. If you insulate the blue shed before putting anything in it that would save moving it all later to insulate.
Eric, If you're close enough to Kevin's Vagabond camp, and/or Caravan Caroline's place - suggest you install a security system that alarms over at their places if your property is breached. They could do the same over to your place.

Good deal! Wire it, insulate and set it for solar or a big generator. It’ll do, get another one on your property to put your “stuff” in.👍
We had a Horney toad under our porch when my son was little! He’s your age now Eric! We told him it was a baby dinosaur! He was so excited! LOL! 😂
Oh my goodness that's too cute

What about the video games ! 🙃
And he's paying to store things that aren't even able to be enjoyed, because they're just in storage. Sell it all! Go minimalist, and be free from stuff.
I think that he will need another shed-turned-house just for his video game consoles.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he creates an arcade themed area from a shed or container.
He might make his area fell like a lil resort eventually 😍
@@Iris-zq5mq He could charge a $1.00 to play a game. 😆
