Thank you, This helps as we will be in Sicily from April 5 -15 -2025 starting in Palermo for 2 days then driving an undetermined route as of know, we will only have hotel reservations in Palermo for 2 days and then play it by ear where we stay as we drive Sicily since it’s April we are told we should not have problems booking rooms as we go.
Btw, my great grandparents and my grandparents on the Muratore side are from Lercara Friddi outside of Palermo in the mountains. I had the opportunity to visit there the last time in Sicily and visit the hall of records to retrieve copies of my relatives birth certificates and other items.
We then leave Sicily to travel the Greek Islands for 12 days.
I’ll be looking at your RUclips sites closer in the upcoming months.
    Grazie!

That's great! If you are landing in Palermo I would focus more on the East side of the island, Trapani, Selinunte, Segesta, Ageigento's temples and Cefalù + a day trip to Taormina if possible! I hope you'll have a blast! You picked a great time, April is better than the too hot summer Imho

Hi there, I can definitely suggest spending a couple of days (or 3) in Palermo visiting the city centre, trying all the street food and visit cathedrals, palaces and the Monreale duomo (we made a video about it!). Other Must see around there are Cefalù, The Zingaro natural reserve, San Vito lo Capo and Mondello beaches. Trapani and Marsala salt planes, Erice and Segesta (try the fish cous cous in there!) Agrigento's temple valley and the Turkish steps. The Aegadian islands and Favignana are also beautiful and there should be organized cruise trips from Trapani and Palermo!
