Hm i want to ask u can i pass kpop Audition. Because there is a girl who said me. That I am Indian. And there is no one in kpop who is Indian. Indian don't get selected in kpop. She said me you don't do kpop. But I feel that I can audition. If I will try that I can do anything. Do you think in kpop Indian are allowed.

The only kind of hate I've seen was more towards "non-Asian wannabe idols" than on idols that weren't Korean.

I’m not Asian at all but I enjoy singing and performing in front of people, I can’t imagine a future where I can’t do something that makes me happy. I’m auditioning to kpop companies (I just auditioned to pledis and posted the video on my yt) because I simply see it as an opportunity, there’s no rule despite the standards stating I can’t audition and I’m confident too. Just because I’m auditioning to these companies doesn’t mean it’s my sole goal, I have worked hard on my studies/update graduated from high school now (2022). If I don’t make it, I won’t stop and I’ll gain a music degree. So all in all, it’s not wrong as long as you are realistic, have a plan, backup plan, are informed and last but not least have ways to prove your dedication to people around you. I wish everyone luck 💕

I auditioned for the SMNBG Months ago and I didn't get an email.
So I will try to audition again for SM (Online) and for Bighit, JYP and Pledis. This channel really helped me a lot in knowing what, where and how should I do stuffs. Truly grateful for this channel 💗🇵🇭

Nationalities do not matter indeed...what matters is ethnicity.
If you "look the part" you're halfway there, but of course it will be talent(and depending on the company some "incentives"/bribes maybe?) and hard workd that will make one stand out.
Because let's be frank...even trainees with some Asian descent might suffer discrimination or be considered less if they aren't Korean(or even full Korean?).

What if you’re not Asian? I’ve NEVER seen any Asian on kpop industry
giving tips for audition: Do not dance in your pijamas it seems like you dont take this seriously
Dont be too glam but a simple outfit
Make sure to practice before you record yourself dancing or singing or rapping
make sure to smile because the judges will think you dont enjoy dancing or singing
be passionate about yourself and dont compare yourself to idol because they already went throught training
i recommend learn korean before audition because you will understand people and you will make more friends

I’m half Thai, and I really want to be a Kpop idol. I have dance classes and stuff and I enjoy singing a lot. I’ve also been practicing Korean. But I also have to be ready for what’s gonna come if I become a trainee.

The thing is I'm not bout to ask my parents to fill out a consent form for me to audition for pledis because they'd say "girl what are you on, drugs?" So I wish I was 14 💀

Visuals- face, physique, charisma, are the most important quality of being K-pop star, no different than modelings. Singing/dancing/languages can all be taught with hard work/time but you need to first possess the look.

Just lost weight and make some surgery like face fat removal so you can define more your face, this surgeries are not invasive and heal faster, there is plenty of not conventional attractive idols debuting just try to improve your flaws

i just auditioned for sm yesterday (monthly) she asked me for personal information (idk if that good) and then she asked for my ethnicity, i was hesitant to answer bc ik if i told her i was filipina it would probably be a disadvantage???? but i eventually told her and she thought i was chinese.. hmmm, idk if i will pass bc i’m filipino tbh, but i hope i can bc i look very much east asian and i hope my talent qualifies for a next audition!! also love your videos😩

Honestly out of all the South East Asian countries i think the big 3 focuses most on Thai, Indo, Vietnam and maybe Filipinos. Im saying this because they made a branch office on each of those countries and even have a special auditions event on that.

@@stanluvieirene1558 But if im not mistaking, theres an interview on yt that came straight from an SM judges that thay wanted to atleast have a trainee from Indo (or something similar cant remember exactly) and he even confirmed that they are 4 in total that got accepted and that now they are currently training in korea. But 1 one of the trainees decided to left and made some pretty big rumour, because theres a pretty famous influencer in Indo that did a qna vid at the same time as that rumour and she said that she did a kpop auditions and got accepted but she decided to left because of personal reasons (which is pretty much confirmed as of rn), thats just my opinion on it tho

I really want to do dancing classes in my Country and learn more singing and hopefully one day be able to perform with a group because it seems hard to audition as a idol in Korea as a foreigner. The K-Pop industry is very inspiring to me even though I barely started watching these K-pop dancing groups but It seems fun! I also love the great costumes they wear and maybe one day I can be apart of a great group too and being able to travel around to perform in different states sounds like a dream. All I need is to practice and learn to be confident on stages.

if it is a "relevant" language
If you’re fluent on languages such as Chinese, Japanese, English, and or Korean then yea. Those are the languages you need to know. Korean: Cause you’ll be singing, rapping, and talking in Korean most of the time. Japanese: You’ll be have what’s called a Japanese debut, meaning you’ll record the same song only in Japanese (And English if you have any English parts in songs) and you will obviously perform Japanese version in Japan. Chinese: You might go to China and perform there as well and also for advertising. English: Because you might also perform in America and you will have English parts in songs. I hope I didn’t make it too confusing 🙃💜
I mean I believe Chinese is optional. But you will have class on Japanese and Chinese. So yea

I am from Pakistan, I was really interested in dancing since the age of 7, though our singing and rapping industry is developed alot since back in 90s, we don't have a dancing platform here and it is way too underrated as well. I found kpop at the age of 10 and since then I am noticing how dancers are highly respected in kpop. Right now I am 15 so I was really looking forward to audition once I am done with school + you always help me and the people who are wanting to get themselves involved in this field alot. tysm! ❤

Last year, the dream of auditioning came up in my mind but I quickly put it aside since im not korean (half aisian and half european). I just wanted to thank you, I just discovered you YT channel but you motivated me in so many ways to start singing and dancing again. I had always enjoyed to do these things but I somehow lost motivation, thinking : *why should I sing or dance when no one cares anyway?* Now I know that becoming a trainee (or even an Idol) might be hard to aceive but I will go for it and work hard. Again thank you for motivating me and so many others ❤

I've loved to sing my whole life. My family has always told me that I should should be a professional singer, but they always push me towards country music, and I don't wanna go that route. I've briefly thought about auditioning for kpop companies (hence why I'm in this comment section), but I really doubt that I'd pass bc I'm not Asian. I am gonna audition for the rock band at the college I'm gonna go to next year and maybe auditioning for kpop companies will give me some experience for that

I'm planning in auditioning to be a kpop idol but *I'm Mexican/American and...I'm learning to speak Korean! I have my own job in case if anything that have to do with money, but I also get lots of compliments that I look somewhat Asian..*, also because I get inspiration with idols that give out advice and all but I'm learning Korean first before auditioning iygwim. I am also into singing that's why I also want to learn Korean so I can make music yk? i may not be korean but ig i'll just give it a try
