Sucks that most people won't hear this remix because of international copyright laws. It's honestly perfect considering how Kiwami is a remake of 1, and the only opening music that could really fit was the main theme from 1, hell the main theme for the entire franchise quite frankly.

And it's in every other game?! I'll try not to use it if I get to play those games.

@@0SC2 I've actually played Kiwami 2, I only have A PC so I've only played the 3 that are on steam. My PC isn't good enough to run Kiwami 2 well, so one day I'll get A better PC and replay it. I HAVE beaten it however, and the new Dragon Engine is A really big shift for me. I enjoyed Kiwami 2's story almost as much as Kiwami but Nishiki is just A better villain than Goda in my opinion. Combat feels floaty and sometimes unresponsive compared to the sharp moments of 0 and K1, which I definitely enjoyed more.

They always do change the American openings, but I can't help but wonder why this would be uploaded as part of the OST under the Yakuza name. Personally for the debate of yakuza vs Yakuza kiwami on music Yakuza 1 had the bleak color palette that fit in with a hard environment which made sense for the metal and rapping too but in Kiwami it's more colorful showing how much Kamurocho changed since ,88 therefore sick ass modern music.
For whose sake plays when you fight nishiki, and receive you does play when you fight shimano at the docks in the jp version, but there's no mistaking the lyrics in Receive You are about kiryu and nishiki.

Kiwami 2 Kiryu is pretty strong some would say thats his strongest incarnation, though I think Kiwami 1 is pretty cool to 3 has like the most used kiryu moveset so thats his style for most games
