nice work! but i would have changed "'Cause we're oh the Caoivish" to "Cause we're all Caovians" and "For the Caoivish never die" "For Caovians never die" to more closely resemble the original
have you ever thought of doing a version of the Hungarian song "Erdély induló"? I feel like the sentiment of the song really fits with the Warden mindset...
Hey Pudsy I don't know where to put recommendations in the Discord so I'll just drop it here. Could you do a cover of "and the band played waltzing matilda" by Nathan Lay at any point?
nah, the war is basically a combination of the conquest of Gaul (the cultural aspect) and the Punic wars (the political aspect). the Collies play the role of the Romans in both cases, while the Wardens are culturally like Gaul, and Callahan is our Hannibal.
Unfortunately, there is no evidence for any of that. There isn't much evidence for how the war even started. I personally like it this way as it makes both sides speculate and come up with stories putting themselves in the best light, much like the real world.
From what the lore says, the Wardens and Colonials fought a proxy war in Vali, which was a Warden puppet state. The colonial-aligned Valians won and the Colonials annexed most of Vali. Who actually started direct conflict isn’t clear. Colonials say Wardens started it and vice versa. Though you could say that the Colonials taking Vali is very close to direct war as Vali was very close to the Wardens. Whereas all the Colonials could use as a defense is that the Wardens expanded their trade and commerce. Which isn’t as bad as them straight up annexing a Warden puppet state

you considered "We'll never let the old flag fall" it's a song I keep finding myself singing.
Anything for you, Oversaturated~
Goose bumps. My callused, scroop worn hands suddenly feel like W1 again.
Remember lads, Wardens Never Die
We just get bored and regroup at the next bunker
Yet they seemed to do it quite a lot yesterday in Heartlands...
Guess who's back
except when they do
It's been a while since I felt THAT level of chills
Amazing work
*Thumps chest* Praise be to Callahan, Praise be to the Warden Empire! This is a great son mate, your doing great.

I prefer the sound of "Caoivans" over "Caoivish", but the devs have confirmed the pronounciation is "Caoivish" so I'm just following them in it.
@@Pudsy fair enough
another glorious Caoivish banger. o>
This and the parody song of It's a long way to Tipperary may very well pull me into this game and buy it
Then the propaganda is working.

I always figured that the Collies were a a rebellious group that originated from the Wardens, like a USA-Britain type thing. Is that not true?
Colonials are a full league of nations my dude, most of the playable map is Caoivish land since the Collies invaded
